While it is true that all Christians should have a 'burden' for the lost - I seem to have a special 'burden' for the saved -- and a special 'calling' to go with it ---
to raise awareness and increase understanding about what the Bible says concerning the 'End Times Scenario', so that Christians may better prepare themselves for what is coming upon the earth.
Whether God wants me to "be a preacher" (in general, as an "occupation") or not has always been
uncertain at best ; however, I am "absolutely certain beyond a shadow of a doubt whatsoever in God's entire universe" about this particular 'calling'.
I have always had a unique interest in End Times prophesy.
I have always asked God for knowledge and understanding concerning the 'End Times Scenario'.
(
"I very much believe that He has granted my request..." )
I have studied End Times prophesy quite extensively.
I do not claim to be any kind of 'prophet'.
I do not claim to "have it all figured out"...
I do not use the word 'gift' to describe the "special knowledge and understanding" that I believe God has enabled me to obtain with regard to the 'End Times Scenario'.
I do not boast myself as being anyone special who should be highly regarded --
certainly not placed on any pedestals.
(
"I would much rather everyone have a high regard for what the Bible says - and study it accordingly..." )
The Holy Spirit is the true teacher in all things concerning Biblical Doctrine.
I am certainly capable of being in error; however, I endeavor diligently to avoid it.
I am a fairly
common man who just happens to have a fairly
uncommon "specialized focus" on [a certain "realm" of] Biblical Doctrine --
for the sake of other Christians in these end times...
This is my special area of concern.
This is my special area of study.
This is my special 'burden'.
This is my special 'calling'.
