Yeah and I've heard stories of peoples teeth being filled with gold. I think that is right out of mother goose.

Yes, I don't think God would create for them a choking hazard!

Recently I was approached by someone who had participated in a convention in which one man claimed that God had covered him in gold dust. From that day forward, everytime he ministers, gold dust appears on him. Many claimed to have been healed. The man does confirm that the healings are of God and simply is being used for that purpose. That all said, I have my own thoughts, but wanted to hear yours. It is becoming a "popular" ministry as more than one man claims this "gift"
Going to the bible, there is only one mention of gold dust. In the Old Testament. Its been a while, but i believe it was in reference to peoples sins, and a form of punishment. NOT a move of the Holy Spirit. These kinds of things along with 'holy laughter', 'barking', going into 'spasms' etc.. all have their origins in paganism. Long before any 'Christian ministry' had these 'new' moves of 'God'. I never accept these bizarre unbiblical acts as valid. We are to test all things against the bible and none of them can withstand biblical scrutiny.
The bible also says in the end times Christians will be lead away by doctrines of demons. To me, that's exactly what things like this are.

i have a theory about the gold dust actually...

i think it probably comes from handling bibles with gilded pages or gold leaf lettering on their covers...

i have actually tested this by running my fingers over gilded bible pages...and i got tiny sparkles of 'gold dust' on my fingers...
