Really? So when will you get divorced? JK
I totally understand your thinking behind some of the questions in your poll, Tink.
One of the things I'm going through right now, and I've posted a little bit about it before, is that when I was 25 and my husband left me, scores of married people in the church told me I needed to "enjoy my blessed single time with the Lord."
A few years have passed since I was 25, obviously. And now I'm finding out that some of these married people who told me I was "just a baby" and should enjoy all this glorious time alone with God... are single themselves.
And getting married again in less than a year.
I want to ask them all, "What about all your splendid alone time that you could have with God?"
"And why is it that your advice was good enough to patronize me with... But yet you aren't choosing to follow it yourself?"
