DO you have any supporting verse to answer this question?
Just note, these notes, are not complete at all, i just post this to help you out a little.......................................
Here are some places you can read : To understand this , you have to wrap your mind around idea ,there was a "age, of time " before the one were currently in.
Hebrews 11:3
King James Version (KJV)
3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.
The word "Worlds , or world" In the Greek as used here, does not mean planet. It means age of time.
Hebrews 1:2
2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;
again, world means age here in The Greek it was taken from.
II Peter 3:
5 For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:
The heavens that were of old. You do see that there was water that was used to cause a flood: but, Noah is not mentioned here.
(Genesis 1: King James Version
1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God
moved upon the face of the waters.
Here in Gen1:2 , you have mention of water here. (It reads to me, that water was used in the destruction in verse 2. Just like II Peter 3:5 mentions .
II Peter 3:
6 Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished: ( reason it perished is because of Revelation 12: 3-4 , ezekiel 28, etc . )
7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.....
( the heavens that are now, would be everything that happened after Gen 1:2. ) After that , that would be the 2nd age. So Noah's flood would be different, the event with Noah happened after Gen 1:2..Follow ???)
So basically Satan was created when we all were, but as Ezekiel 28 says, way way way back when, he caused some major problems. That is why when you get to the chapter of the serpent in the garden, you know from the other scriptures, that Satan has been around since before Gen1:2
In Genesis 1: 1. It says in the beginning God created the heavens and the earth... It did not say when the beginning was.
Then in Gen 1:2 you have a destruction to the surface of the earth. ( that is how it reads in the Hebrew it was translated from ) Look it up here >
Genesis Chapter 1 - King James Bible With Strong's Dictionary - Bible Software by johnhurt.com note ( Jeremiah 4 : 22-24 )
The reason that it keeps hinting at Satan/ cherub ,as the cause ( Ezekiel 28. Isaiah 14 etc. ). and a rebellion in which 1/3rd fell/took part ( Revelation 12: 3-4 ).
