How do I copy-paste without copying the whole post a post that Is from another thread and post It In a thread that I am posting In now?

IE
He said In the thread called "insert the name of the thread" that he doesn't agree with that,but In this thread he Is agreeing with It.

Then the person says,thats not true,I never said that,prove It.
 
Do you mean with it showing their name? Like when you use Reply With Quote?
Or just taking out a portion of the post?
 
Quote the post as if you are going to respond and then copy it to the new thread you are posting in. You can edit the post you are copying after you paste it in the new thread, or even before actually, but people generally do not like it when you edit what they say, even if it is an honest edit. Unless it is a long post, you could leave it as is and then just highlight the part you want to be obvious to enlarge that text (by changing the font size) and maybe make it bold as well, then people know for sure what is being pointed to :)

There are two ways to get the url that goes directly to the post you want to display. The easiest is to simply copy the post number on the upper right hand side of the post itself. ~> #215

Thank you for helping me.I'm going to see If I got.

All I have to do Is copy the post that I want to use from the other thread and paste It In the thread I want and It will look like the one you used for an example In post#5 correct?

Find the post you want to copy. Hit 'Reply With Quote' Select all of that, and copy it. Paste it into your post and remove any excess parts you don't want.

You copy the post after you have opened it as if to reply with quote.
In post #14 the quote was not properly closed at the end.

Oops haha you fixed it congrats!
