Hello,
I don’t see an option to use an alternate dark background and light colored text. I have eye issues and white backgrounds are very taxing (I use filters and turn my brightness way down too). Other forums have options to make such a background change. Could that be done here?

thank you

Hello @Seddrik, the Internet browser that I use for this place is Microsoft Edge. It can be set in dark background mode by clicking on the three horizontal dots (on the top/far right side of the browser), and then by clicking on the following in this order > Settings > Appearance > Overall Appearance > Dark.

Also (in case you do not already know) you can increase the size of your fonts by clicking the "Ctrl and +" keys on your keyboard ("Ctrl and -" keys reduce the size instead, just FYI).

@Subhumanoidal mentioned that the browser that he uses, Firefox, does the same thing :)

So both browsers should get you the (dark) "look" that you are hoping to use here at CChat!

You can also change your look to a "Dark Theme" on Google Chrome, if that's the browser that you use.

Once you are in Chrome (if you're not there already), look for the little gear icon (top/right side of the Google Chrome window .. it will say "Quick Settings" if you hover your mouse pointer over the gear icon), click on it, and then click on "Dark Theme", and that should do it for you.
