Why is the CC disconnecting me every 5 to 10 minutes. I use the chat, and with 5 to 10 minutes in the chat room, it disconnects me. Its weird it don't disconnect me from forum. just the chat. Now I used to use IE10 and it disconnected me but not much as its doing with Mozila/firefox. So now i know its not my computer. I was advised to put firefox/mozilla on, I did and its still doing the same thing. Its now starting to get on my nervs. Is there anything thats being done to the chat to get rid of this glitch?

99% of disconnections from chat are on the users end and cannot be fixed by us. Browsing the forums uses very little bandwidth whereas chat takes a huge amount of bandwidth. Even when comparing to a Skype conference call with 8 or nine other people this takes a small amount of bandwidth in comparison with an active chat room with forty plus people. All it takes to lose your connection to chat is for your internet connection to have a split second drop in processing speeds.

Try turning videos off also. Not sending/receiving video may help the speed.

I meant the cams in the chat room. Setting it to 'dial up' turns off viewing other peoples cams when they use the mic, thereby using less bandwidth. And not using cams yourself in the chat rooms.
