If someone blocks you on facebook messenger why does the blue phone thing still come up by their name?

maybe because they still have you in there list, untill they delete your name from tehre list, then you wont see anything related to that person you blocked, Im not sure to be honest, I dont have facebook for 6 yrs now, and lots of things im sure has changed.

If you mean on the phone app i think it's just there by default. I could be wrong, but it may just be that it is not programmed to disappear at all.
