Would it be possible to start a new posting forum just for biblical word studies ...
there's a variety of forums, one even for poetry, but one just for the study
and discussion of particular words, and their applications in particular verses
is not something readily available; I mean one can attempt to do this on the
Bible discussion forum, but since the replies are not as frequent as with discussions
about doctrine and such, that the attempt to interest and continue the discussion
is soon way down on the list, then pushed to the next page, and soon forgotten.

Maybe you can't, or have tried this before, but if it's at all possible, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Thank you
Robin Riley

The appropriate place to put this post wold be the Suggestions forum. This is more for asking for help.

The fact that the threads disappear so quickly due to lack of involvement, though, isn't really an encouragement for them to start a new forum on the subject.

Now it's more of a goatee. Thought about growing it back, but have started dating since then and she wouldn't be too happy about that.

You are kind for replying ... doesn't happen all that much, for me, on this site ... although I do try very hard to spark an interest in what I think is the more appropriate discussions; that is, an actual deep look at His very words ... oh well, any help at interesting the powers that be in adding another forum would be greatly appreciated.

Just got this, responed to this from someone else:

Thank you Zoe for your acknowledgement of my request ... it apparently isn't going anywhere, as Ugly rightfully points out, there isn't much evidence of interest ...

However, I'm thinking that there isn't much interest, because any attempts at doing good word study of scripture, gets buried almost immediately in topics like "What color was Moses' hair?" and "Was God a UFO?" ...

They have a forum for poetry, and other inane stuff ... I like poetry, and taught my first grade class the mechanics of basic poetry, but, after all, this is ... suppose to be ... a scriptural study exchange site, so you'd think that one little corner could be reserved for word stucy ... sigh

Actually this site is not a 'scriptural study exchange site' and no where does it say it is. In fact at the top of the page it says 'fellowship'. Fellowship can mean various things. And the poetry section inane? Try going in the bible debate forums. Talk about inane.
