how do i turn on just the mic in here?

Its boring ol me again lol. I just bought a mic so i can finally in here!Only i dont have a cam :/ Is there a way i can talk without using a webcam or is a webcam required here? Sorry if i sound dumb. I just joined like last month.

Web cam is not required to audio chat. When you enter chat just click the arrow (see below) and select the "I won't use webcam" option
