I've just figured out why some user names are blue and some are pink. This designates gender, correct?

What is "Rep power"? How many posts separate the rankings (member, senior member, etc)?

Even though I don't know a lot about these forums, I'm glad they're here.. kinda getting hooked on them :)

Rep Power goes up when you get likes and reputation comments, but you have to give them out to progress. Some people seem to be obsessed with it and use it as status.

I just noticed the Rep Power recently and didn't know what it meant. And, wowsers, I seem to talk a lot.. 61 posts already.

Everyone starts off as a "junior member". At 30 posts your user title changes to "Member," and at 100 posts it changes to "Senior Member."

Actually reputation and "likes" are two separate things. The only way your reputation is increased is by other users adding to it. If I'm not mistaken, the greater your reputation power the more reputation points you can add to others.

You reputation is increasing. I got a rep comment once too. I don't believe that receiving 'like's' increases your rep power but it can make you feel warm and fuzzy inside.
