my intuition is that y'all have some kind of screwball security setting preventing you from seeing your images. because Blue & i can see the sunflower, but AuntieAnt can't.
but that wouldn't explain why the dialogue option is missing from some people. that seems like a forum permissions thing. but the fact that at least one thread exists where y'all can still upload normally makes it not a permissions thing, because that should be global. or at least sub-forum controlled.
((plus we are informed by mod this is not the case))
so i might think it's possible there's database corruption on the forum server that degraded the permissions of some members in *almost* all the threads. which is a kind of catch-all "well something must be just plain broken" -- not really an 'answer' at all.
but -- there's the fact that kodiak deleted his account and made a new one, and still has the same issue. which is evidence against it being random data corruption, since he's a new user now.
which makes this a real puzzle. interesting
((just getting the facts laid out in one place helps sometimes)) -- all this is correct, correct?
