problem with subscriptions

I'm having trouble with the threads that i subsribed to.
I am trying to be notified instantly by e-mail, threads that i have subscribed to when someone has just posted in the thread.

I clicked on(under thread tools)subscribe to this thread.Then under notification,I selected the threads i wanted then i clicked on the button( go),and then the notification goes back to (notify in the control panel only).

I have the yahoo app that sends you a notification that you have received a new e-mail,but the instant notification in cc is not sending an instant notification,but i can only see if there is a new post if i log in to cc and look in the control panel
can someone help me get the instant notification by e-mail to the thread/post that i have subsribed to,to work?

I think he created this forum so people would stop running to him every time there was a problem. You should wait and see if another can answer you first. And if no answers come then consider going to a mod.

I believe there is a few different options in here that don't work because Robo has never had the time to spend to configure them correctly. Much of what CC consists of is from a forum base he has modified for his purposes, and there are options there that he has never had the time to work with or remove.

You have to remember, the whole of CC has been coded by just him. If something doesn't work, you can bring it to his attention (he does look at this forum) but with everything else he has to work/focus on, it may not be something he has time to fix right now. Please be patient.

I did just get notified of your post AlaynaJ on the email that I set up when I originally registered with CC. So it seems to be working now. :)

There must be something i did,because the instant notification keeps going back to notify in the control panel only.It use to always work.

I added a folder and i must have did something incorrectly
that changed it.
I'm on my mobile phone now;Tuesday i will get on a desktop computor,
