question about Edit botton in post.

I love CC but I'm having some problems with the edit button when i post in threads.So i can edit and delete the ones i recently made just fine, however the other posts once I've made it i can't really delete it. so my question is is that "normal" or i not seeing something. I hope my question makes sense. God bless and i hope anyone can help me with this problem

As far as I know, normal users are able to edit their posts within 15 minutes of the post being published. The Edit feature is removed after that time.

oh ok. Well on my end said i posted it 55 min ago and i still can't remove it. maybe its just my crappy computer lol

15 minutes to edit a post? I think it's more like 5 minutes.

Yeah. I think it's 5 minutes to edit.

Test:
1st edit at 1st minute.
2nd edit at second minute. (I will continue till it stops my editing.)
3rd edit at 3rd minute.
4th edit at 4th minute.
5th edit at 5th minute.

Yeah. It's 5 minutes. It didn't post "6th edit at 6th minute" saying Edit Post had timed out.

It is 5 minutes for the time frame; a post can only be modified or rescinded within 5 minutes of it going public.

I stand corrected, it appears that the time limit is 5 minutes. Thank you folks for the correction.

maybe a mod is reviewing it.

If you had read the other responses you would see this question has been answered.
Neither do mods review these things. Mods are unpaid volunteers who come on according to their own schedule and availability. Mods only review reported posts or things they stumble across and do not have time to review every edited post.
