Sub not active

i bought a sub last ight and it worked fine. i log in this morning however and it isnt working so i contact prodigal and he says i have to wait for robocop and he cant tell me when itll be fixed. so my concern is i bought a one month thing and now the days may be wasted cause i cant use it even though the only chat room with the issue is bible study. so why then say contact mods they can help when it seems they cant?

to top it off because im trying to ask why does it say mods can help and it ends up they cant i get insulted by someone saying r u having issues understanding? i may have a mental disability but thanks for pointing it out in front of everyone that is mean and now im upset.

Alot of people here have both mental and physical difficulties. Also, these are the forums, not the chat rooms. People in the chat rooms tend to get ignored when they ask questions, so I'm a forums ladybug..

I'm sure that the problem will be resolved. On this site you have two basic types of peeps. There are the chat peeps and the forum peeps. You can really get to know a person quite well in the forums because they leave a trail of posts to follow. You can make some real good friends too. I do hope that the issue you have is fixed soon. You sound as if you're impatient and being overly sensitive.
Mods can help with many things, but issues like the one you're facing are technical issues, and since RobOP is the ONLY person on the site who builds and maintains the technical end of the site, he is the only one able. This is not to say it's a lie that Mods can help, but it just simply depends on the specific issue. So to be so upset that you happen to have an issue the Mods themselves can't help with is an overreaction.

And your comment about you having a mental disability. If you are so worried about people finding out, then why did you post it in the forums for even more people to see, and where it won't disappear, like it does in chats? While a small handful in the chat knew, now you've made it so every member of the site can know. So you must not be That bothered by people knowing or you wouldn't be announcing it yourself.
How is someone asking if you are having issues understanding an insult? If you came across as not understanding then it's a reasonable question.
Also how does asking that point out that you have a mental condition?

This is all a minor issue and you are creating drama where it needn't be, offense where there is none and frustration that could be resolved with just a little patience.

because i have depression and anxiety so i tend to not believe ppl right off. And if u have to ask in that way then maybe its a mistake i joined this forum

Like Ugly said, the only one who's able to fix the issue is RoboOp. He's usually pretty good at getting right on things, so just be patient and hang out here in the forums with us. Just ignore the ones who are mean to you. Use your ignore button, it's there for a reason.

I have depression and anxiety as well. Doesn't cause me not to believe people. That is a personal thing and not a result of depression or anxiety.
And i have seen a number of others on this site with the same conditions.
See, you have it set so no one can ask you anything, because asking you a question you take as an insult. A person asking if you are having trouble understanding has NOTHING at all to do with someone announcing you have a mental disorder. It is completely unrelated. I guarantee not one person in that room saw that question and thought 'oh she has a mental disorder'.
And you do seem to have a problem understanding, which, again, is not a depression/anxiety issue. It's an issue of you being demanding, defensive and impatient.
Believe it or not, not everything in this world is intended as an insult against you. People are not mind readers to interpret simple, reasonable questions as announcing you have a mental disorder.
And really having depression/anxiety is pretty common and i have yet to meet someone who treated it as so shamefully as you do. I have had depression for 26 years, so i know what it feels like. I know the struggle with it. I know the sensitivity that comes with it. But it sounds to me as though you are using your depression/anxiety as a weapon against others and a way to justify how you feel.
I have had anxiety in the past too, having anxiety attacks when i was homeless. My then gf at the time had gone through bad anxiety before i did, so i had to spend hours a day helping her through anxiety. My most recent gf had anxiety and i would often have to help her through it. And i've known others who had it as well. I've known others who deal with depression. So i'm not ignorant of either condition.
Any mental disorder can be used as a weapon, but it won't help you. As a person who has been where you're at i can tell you with first hand knowledge, learning not to treat everything as an attack will make your life much better. Stay on the site, don't treat your condition as such a shameful thing, or as a weapon to hold people at bay, or to excuse your behavior. Relax. Slow down. If you ease up you will find there are people who will enjoy your company. People that will think well of you. But you won't be able to do that if you get offended over every little thing.
