The more sure word of God -- And a terrifying vision

Isaiah 24:1 Behold, the Lord maketh the earth empty, and maketh it waste, and turneth it upside down, and scattereth abroad the inhabitants thereof.

On the one hand the complete fulfillment is yet to come, we have not seen it yet. However, when a tsunami or tornado hits it "turns upside down and scatters abroad". However, the only time I have truly seen the earth "made waste" is after a volcano. When the ash falls a forest can become a barren "lifeless" hill. To me this describes what we see from Volcanic eruption, tornado, tsunami and earthquake. In all those cataclysmic events we all know it "is the Lord" that did it.

2 And it shall be, as with the people, so with the priest; as with the servant, so with his master; as with the maid, so with her mistress; as with the buyer, so with the seller; as with the lender, so with the borrower; as with the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him.

If a Tsunami hit NYC it would hit everyone, regardless. You might be a cab driver, or you might be a multi millionaire who lives in the Penthouse. Either way the situation is the same. But that is not entirely true, many billionaires and millionaires have multiple residences. If your home in NYC is destroyed you simply go to your lodge in Colorado. Also, for the truly wealthy they don't need a job for support, even if their job in NYC were destroyed they can live off of their investments. So for this to be true the cataclysm would have to be so great that it was nationwide. Imagine earthquakes splitting the US down the Mississippi as well as along the San Adreas, a massive tsunami hitting the East coast and Yosemite erupting. In that situation all your investments and bank accounts would immediately be worthless. Many of your homes destroyed and if not then you can't even reach them. The roads are out and the planes aren't flying. I saw something like this on 911, after the planes hit the world trade center the roads were filled with people as all the trains and subways were not riding and people walked out of Manhattan. This is what you see when you have refugees fleeing a disaster.

3 The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the Lord hath spoken this word.

Utterly emptied and utterly spoiled, that we have never seen. We saw it in a microcosm. Think of the ghettos where the Jews were forced to live before being utterly emptied and utterly spoiled and having everyone loaded into train cars and shipped to concentration camps.

The Aftermath of God's judgement

Isaiah 24:4 The earth mourneth and fadeth away, the world languisheth and fadeth away, the haughty people of the earth do languish.

How can the earth "fade away". I think this is similar to the song that they put up a parking lot where paradise was. Imagine a beautiful forest with a river and waterfalls being transformed into a wasteland of ash. It was vibrant with green and blue, filled with sounds from birds and insects, and now it is gray and barren. The world languisheth and fades away. That is like a person getting very sick, lying in a hospital bed and slowly fading away. Imagine the world's economy receiving a mortal wound, but not immediately dying, just slowly fading away. If the US were suddenly obliterated with these cataclysmic natural disasters you could see that being fatal to the world's economy and the rest of the world slowly fading away. Interestingly the haughty people languish but do not fade away yet. They are like that old person who constantly complains and demands others do stuff for them but is bed ridden.

5 The earth also is defiled under the inhabitants thereof; because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant.

The word also stands out to me. If you were hit by a tsunami you could see that as washing stuff away, a cleansing. Likewise with a volcano, it puts down new soil and you can start anew, fresh. Earthquakes allow you to rebuild. But here the earth is not just emptied, turned upside down, but it is also defiled. This sounds like a toxic waste dump. Imagine if we have these catastrophes hit the US, what happens to the nuclear power plants, and the refineries and the military sites with weapons and biological agents, and chemical weapons and nuclear weapons? This is not going to be an opportunity to rebuild, you will have no choice but to flee and to be scattered.

6 Therefore hath the curse devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein are desolate: therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men left.

This is a curse. Few men left indicates a whole lot died or fled. The word "burned" does not sound like a Tsunami, it sounds like fire. It could be a volcano, it could be an earthquake that starts the fire, it could be a drought, and it could be from nuclear radiation.

You can't prep for this. Imagine you had two years worth of food stored and a tsunami hits your city and you barely escape with just the clothes on your back. Your money won't save you, no one cares about your credit cards or even the cash in your wallet. You can't live off the land, the super volcano erupting has turned everything to ash. The real problem is the covenant, you didn't keep the covenant with God. The New Testament is a covenant with God that Jesus made on our behalf by shedding His blood. Why wouldn't you take the free gift of God? How arrogant to think you could change the ordinance, how rebellious to transgress the laws and pretend that is OK.

And the rest of the Earth will suffer

7 The new wine mourneth, the vine languisheth, all the merryhearted do sigh.

Think about all the celebrations we have. In the US the Superbowl is a big one, but after this event, you wont' have any football, no March madness, no world series, no weddings, no birthday celebrations, etc. Now there will still be wine in bottles that wasn't destroyed, but when it is open and drunk it will be in mourning, not happiness. Then the vine languisheth. If Yosemite were to erupt in the US it would wipe out a whole lot of our crops. But for the rest of the world it will fill the atmosphere with ash and cause a long winter for several years. So even as far as Italy will suffer the impact. There are many different personalities, some people are like Eyore in the Winnie the Pooh book, always gloomy. Others are like Tiger, always bouncy. But at this time even the "merryhearted" ones sigh.

8 The mirth of tabrets ceaseth, the noise of them that rejoice endeth, the joy of the harp ceaseth.

The tsunami didn't hit everyone, the earthquake didn't hit everyone, the volcanic ash did not land on everyone. But even if it did't hit you directly the happy and joyful celebrations around the world all cease.

9 They shall not drink wine with a song; strong drink shall be bitter to them that drink it.

This is the important point, we learn that we do not live by bread alone. We live by every word of God. It is not wine that makes the heart rejoice. Without the joy of the Lord music is not the same.

The City of Confusion

10 The city of confusion is broken down: every house is shut up, that no man may come in.

According to the Bible fornication is confusion. The "city of confusion" sounds like the city of fornication. Imagine a woman who has five children and all the children have different fathers, that is "confusion". Imagine a city where men pretending to be women get to use women's bathrooms, and locker rooms and compete in women's sports, and they are given awards like "woman of the year". That is confusion. Imagine asking a judge on the highest court in the land to define what a woman is and they can't. That is confusion. Every house is shut up and no one can come in, that sounds like they are boarded up and locked up.

11 There is a crying for wine in the streets; all joy is darkened, the mirth of the land is gone.

It sounds like you have streets filled with the homeless begging. You are afraid to give them money because it isn't for food, it is for wine. The joy is darkened? Sounds like when the sun was darkened from the ash that it also darkened the joy. It is hard to be joyful when people have died, when you are starving, when you are going to war, and when you have lost everything. After 911 comedians couldn't make jokes, people would say "too soon". This is what 911 was like, only on a much, much larger scale.

12 In the city is left desolation, and the gate is smitten with destruction.

If you have a massive disaster where the entire economy collapses and the dollar is worthless people will still survive. Some have food stored up. Some will grow food in a garden. Others will barter as they do work. So the city will be left, but in desolation. The gate refers to the rule of law, that will be smitten with destruction. Without a working economy we return to the wild west. We don't have cops, or prisons, or court houses.

God is not doing this because he wants us to suffer, rather he wants us to consider the consequences of our actions. We reap what we sow.

This is fitting, the world tries to exclude Christians that would speak the gospel from their society. They want to define the word of God as "hate speech". That is rebellion. They treat God's people like they have cooties. So they get leprosy and they are left outside of the camp for seven years after the rapture and this is like God the Father spitting in their face after they spit in His face.

What a contrast!

Isaiah 24:13 When thus it shall be in the midst of the land among the people, there shall be as the shaking of an olive tree, and as the gleaning grapes when the vintage is done.
14 They shall lift up their voice, they shall sing for the majesty of the Lord, they shall cry aloud from the sea.

Do you know what the rapture will be like? It will be like this. At the end of the harvest the tree is bare, everything is barren and you know winter is coming. But go to the Father's house and it is filled with the fruit from the harvest. There are no songs in the city of confusion, but there are songs in the house of the Father. No mirth, no joy on the Earth but with the bride and the groom in heaven there is great rejoicing.

15 Wherefore glorify ye the Lord in the fires, even the name of the Lord God of Israel in the isles of the sea.

This is the hope of our calling. This is why we should be filled with rejoicing and thanksgiving even in the midst of the trials and tribulations of this life.

I heard this testimony about a man who felt his sins were beyond being forgiven of and so he refused to be ask the Lord for forgiveness and then I remembered various scenes in movies where the criminal gives a lawyer a dollar and then they can tell the lawyer any crime they wish without fear. I thought we would never have that law in this country if the Lord did not allow it, He is Lord of all. So it hit me, the Lord is letting us know that the Spirit is our advocate, our lawyer. Jesus already paid the price. So you have the absolute best possible lawyer money can buy to defend you when you appear before God the Father. He has already been paid so you have nothing to fear. Tell him your sins, and you can be sure of one thing, you will get the best defense you could have possibly hoped for in your wildest dreams.

Isaiah 24:16 From the uttermost part of the earth have we heard songs, even glory to the righteous. But I said, My leanness, my leanness, woe unto me! the treacherous dealers have dealt treacherously; yea, the treacherous dealers have dealt very treacherously.

This is so true today. With the internet and Youtube you can hear testimonies from people all over the globe. I am with the Gideon's and they are in 200 countries, we have testimonies coming in from the uttermost part of the earth. But, there are those who are focused on the corruption in our government. The corruption is turning people to the Lord and letting them see that it is foolish to put your hope in man or in money or in some idol. Yes, the treacherous have dealt very treacherously, but we were told that the whole world lies in the evil one two thousand years ago. That should not be a shock to you, rather use this to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ.

17 Fear, and the pit, and the snare, are upon thee, O inhabitant of the earth.

You have to be blind to not see what is coming. They have been destroying the means of producing and transporting food. The cities are being turned into wasteland. Ten million illegals have been brought into this country as sleeper cells to cause mayhem and confusion at the proper moment. The government is compromised and is working with the globalists. They dug a pit, they have set a snare, how can anyone not see this. The pandemic was a dress rehearsal, they tried out various approaches, in China they locked people in their apartment complexes. In Australia they built concentration camps in the Outback. In Canada they froze bank accounts of protestors and in the US they tried to manipulate people with the MSM and social media.

18 And it shall come to pass, that he who fleeth from the noise of the fear shall fall into the pit; and he that cometh up out of the midst of the pit shall be taken in the snare: for the windows from on high are open, and the foundations of the earth do shake.

You will not escape. They have compiled a list of everyone in the country, they know if you go to church, what church you go to, and everything about you. If you are on Facebook they know all your friends. They will use drones, infra red goggles, dogs, etc. You won't be able to live in a bunker, if you have one they know it. You won't be able to live in the woods, they'll find you. This is the "last call" to receive Jesus Christ as Savior.

Jesus is God and there is no other

Isaiah 24:19 The earth is utterly broken down, the earth is clean dissolved, the earth is moved exceedingly.

What we are about to see we have never seen before. Krakatoa could be a glimpse of an idea of what is going to happen. But this would be like a mechanic completely stripping the motor and transmission and radiator out of a car so that all you have is a shell and then rebuilding it. If you don't fully understand how the car works you would never attempt this. God, the creator is not intimidated by what is about to happen, but for all the arrogant ones it will be completely terrifying. This is going to be a humbling experience that will bring everyone to their knees confessing that Jesus is God and there is no other.

20 The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard, and shall be removed like a cottage; and the transgression thereof shall be heavy upon it; and it shall fall, and not rise again.

The implications of this are truly terrifying. Such an event can be truly catastrophic.

21 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall punish the host of the high ones that are on high, and the kings of the earth upon the earth.

This is what it takes to punish them. They would have built bunkers hundreds of feet underground. If it were possible they would have spent everything to save themselves. By doing that they prove they are worthless shepherds.

22 And they shall be gathered together, as prisoners are gathered in the pit, and shall be shut up in the prison, and after many days shall they be visited.

The Lord does not want a quick and instantaneous judgement. He wants to give them time to think about their mistakes, their pride, their arrogance, their selfishness.

23 Then the moon shall be confounded, and the sun ashamed, when the Lord of hosts shall reign in mount Zion, and in Jerusalem, and before his ancients gloriously.

The Sign of Jonah

I have been struggling with this sign because Jonah preached to the Ninevites and they repented and the judgement was stayed for a significant amount of time. But then Jesus told the Jews that the only sign they would get would be the sign of Jonah and sure enough after forty years Jerusalem was besieged, the temple cast down and the Jews scattered. I think it is clear that this Alpha and Omega sign over the US is the sign of Jonah and a very clear warning and I even think the April 8th was a 40 day warning. So then, does that mean judgement is coming after 40 days or does it mean people will repent and the judgement be stayed.

Then it hit me:

Jonah 4:11 And should not I spare Nineveh, that great city, wherein are more than sixscore thousand persons that cannot discern between their right hand and their left hand; and also much cattle?

You have two groups: those that know the Lord's will and those that don't.

Luke 12:47 And that servant, which knew his lord's will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes. 48 But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.

Both Nineveh and Jerusalem were examples of the sign of Jonah. Some know the Lord's will and don't do it, like those in Jerusalem, they were beaten with many stripes. Others didn't know but did things worthy of stripes, they were beaten with few.

So yes, April 8th was a 40 day warning. If you know the Lord's will you had better be about the Father's business and doing it. Obviously not everyone on earth knows God's will so for them this will be like a shot across the bow to wake them up and cause them to seek out the truth in the Bible.
