Every Christian uses the Bible as the basis for their faith. We believe in the same Moses as you....however where we diverge is in Isaac vx Ishmael as being the son of promise. The word "Christ" is ancient Greek for the Hebrew word "Messiah".

Because through Isaac's lineage came Jesus of Nazareth. Whom we believe lived a sinless life, was killed and rose again on the third day. Jesus's sacrifice atones for our sins so we can have access to God and ultimately Heaven. It requires faith in Jesus and His sacrifice and lifestyle and teachings. We believe that Jesus is the Son of God being God himself.

All Christians believe this. The exercise of this faith is where we differ. Some prefer more structure and ritual where others desire less.
Thank you very much

Does that mean there is no Hell at all in the last day / the day of judgment?
Will all people go to Heaven, and no one will go to Hell?
Can you explain please so I understand more

Welcome. Glad you are here.
Can I ask why you have an interest in learning about Christianity?
I want to know and exploring the similarities and differences between both religions to know the truth and distinguish between what is right and wrong.

There are more then two groups in Christianity..

the catholic religion is a works salvation religion.. This means that ones good deeds and ones religious observance and avoidance of sin determine ones entry or non entry into paradise..

Some of the other Christian groups also preach the Works salvation doctrine..

Some Christian groups called protestants support a Grave salvation doctrine.. Meaning that humans will obtain entry into paradise by believing the teachings of Jesus and trusting that the execution of Jesus pays the death penalty that was due upon them for their sins.. This is true Christianity.. Just to clarify that some protestant groups also preach works salvation like the catholic religion..

There are other differences between the different groups but the main division is between Works salvation supporting groups and grace salvation supporting groups..

I hope this has clarified the basics for you..
Thank you dear
or non entry into paradise
Can I understand from what you are saying that there is a Hell and that there are people who will go to Hell?
I want to ensure that I have a clear understanding.

John 17:2-3~ You granted Him authority over all people, so that He may give eternal life to all those You have given Him. Now this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, Whom You have sent.:)

The similarities are kind of irrelevant.

It’s the differences that are HUGE.

ALL religions, except true Christianity, are, in one degree or another, about the individual needing to do, or not do something in order to achieve Salvation.

True Christianity relies SOLELY on the finished work of God’s Son, Jesus Christ, and His Sacrificial death, and subsequent resurrection, for Salvation.

That difference in beliefs has a chasm so wide no human can cross it.

Salam to All

I have some questions and I'm seeking answers here to gain a better understanding of Christianity. I hope this is the appropriate place to ask. If not, please advise me on where I can find the right platform to discuss or post my questions.

I understand that Christianity is comprised of two main groups: Catholicism and another group. Could you please clarify if there are differences between these two groups, or if they are essentially the same?

In our Islam religion, we have two groups known as Sunnah and Shia, and there are notable differences between them.

Thanks

Ba Ta
no, Christianity is not comprised of 2 groups. catholics are not christians. there's a huge difference. they go to a priest to have sins forgiven: that never succeeded, they say a hail mary prayer: that never was answered, they pray to saints & statues: that also, never works, they commit sin by way of necromancy which is contact with the dead & Jesus forbade that, they invent their own rituals: all saints day, all souls day, priests to remain celibate, salvation by works & on & on.

This is where things are complicated so if you will be patient with me....

We believe God is holy holy holy.

HOLY is a condition of existence. It can apply to something or someone. Holy means several things at the same time: Pure, set apart, and good. Holy is these things and also is active to remain holy. Meaning, if something comes along and tries to corrupt it has an immediate reaction to keep its characteristic of holiness.

Example: Birds are created to fly, chirp, eat bugs and seeds, and build nests. If a sparrow does not do all of these things it will die because a cat or snake will eat it.
Man was created to give glory and honor to God. However, man has not done as he was created to do. The reason why we are not destroyed is because God gave us a portion of undeserved favor often called "grace". This portion of grace has been extended to all of mankind. But it is only a tiny part of what God can do because man was originally created to live forever. Everyone dies due to sin/error.

This is where Jesus's sacrifice steps in. If we receive Jesus, believe in his name, God will give us the right to be called His children. And we will live forever. Our physical body may die but God will give us a new one. A soul is your mind, body, and spirit.

What can man give God that God has not made?
His heart ❤️.
And if we give Jesus our love...(Jesus is God's son and one with His Father) we will be as God's adopted children.

Otherwise our eternal life is up to ourselves to provide. God will not provide it. (Hasn't worked for anyone yet)

You belong to a group that only relies on the Bible as their only authority.
Can you tell me where can I download the Bible?
I don't want the Catechism, not Confessions, nor statement of belief. I don't want any book made my human.
I want only the primary book which is God's word to mankind.
You may find this resource helpful.

One of the primary goals of the project is to pursue a primitive version of the biblical text.

Yes there is a Hell and people have gone there.. There are people in Hell now... They will be reasurected on the day of judgement and will be judged..

People who believe Jesus and trust in the Atonement He secured by His death on the cross will never go to Hell..

Just as an FYI...
To me, the OP doesn't seem to use English as his primary language...as if he is using some sort of translation software to understand what is being said.

And with English being so different from other languages the softwares out there have a difficult time translating.

From friends who do this sort of thing regularly you have to put it through twice in order to get the best translation.

Even then some cultural differences usually create an empass or two in understanding completely. Especially when making jokes....most jokes fall flat because of the cultural differences.
It's difficult at times....but usually enough can be understood to create clarity. Which the OP is to be commended for. He genuinely wants to understand and is running into the craziness of the internet where people have pet theologies they wish to promote. The general is pushed aside for some small ideology.

Thank you for your question about the two main groups of Christianity. I would like to begin by stating that your understanding falls short of a true understanding of Christianity. The word Christian came into being at the church of Antioch. It simply means " little Christ". This term came into being because those who have a faith in Jesus have surrendered their life to Jesus. You see, He is God in the flesh. He took on flesh to bring the light of His righteousness back into a world full of darkness and sin. He then died a sacrificial death to pay the price for our sin. He became our substitute for the death we all owe for sinning g against Him. He rose the third day and lives still waiting for all who will accept Him and know salvation, because He desires that none perish but hat all know everlasting life. We who accept Him are saved and our spirit Is brought unto new life. The life He gave for us is given into us and we now live unto Him as He would have us live.
Since this time, man has tried to develop a way to share and govern those who believe according to the will of God. It is these governing styles that people understand as separate groups of Christianity, but this is not God's way.
And unfortunately, there are more than 2. There is Catholicism, Anglican, and Protestant. And within each of these there are evenire divisions. What is important to understand is that these are of man and not of God. With God there is one one. It is a faith in Jesus.

I hope this helps some. Religion can get very confusing. There are so many and the flaws in them are numerous. What is important is that you seek to know the true Gos and follow Him and not what man tells to you. Man will always fail you, but God will never fail.

If you want to know about Christianity, don't study the faiths of Christianity. Study the Holy Bible. It is true and pure. It will guide you to what you seek.
May God bless you in you search.

Regarding your say above, in your 1st post
How to affiliate with the Lord Jesus without follow any group or teachings? I have to follow up someone/group to get the information/teaching. Can you explain too please?
For Christians, we can learn a lot for ourselves from reading the Bible, but even moreso, we are able to receive the Holy Spirit who teaches us things directly by speaking to our spirit. For example, I have had multiple occasions where I didn't understand a passage of the Bible so I asked God on the spot what it meant, and suddenly I understood what the writer was thinking.

We are still instructed in the Bible not to stop meeting together with other Christians. Also, we are told that anywhere two or more Christians are gathered together, God is there.

Thus for Christians, we can learn God's teachings directly and in more than one way. And even when we do go to a group, we are still asking God our questions unless God points out someone we should listen to.
