Ok y'all.. I ain't been here long but everybody just stop. There are really some good folks in here but the way some of y'all go at each other... C'mon now.. I probably ain't nobody to be saying anything cause I just got here and I will agree I am not as learned as probably a lot of folks on this site.. But on this one thread folks gonna come in here and just stay humble.. This is we all Love God... We know what he is all about.. We know he sent his son Jesus and he's coming back.. He sent the Holy Spirit to help out cause can't none of us do it ourselves.. And we know he's coming back, but do we want him to come back to this kind of arguing? We all have our strong opinions, but in here it's only about the stuff I said and that's it. Y'all come in here and just say how much you love God and see how y'all been doing, maybe even unload a little.. There's a Marshall in here... I've got a loaded tater gun..and I AIN'T afraid to use it......

though I participate in them , I often think about how sad our Heavenly Father must be to see His children, who he sent his Son to die for, arguing the way we do. we can't even agree on basic concepts, and since we can't agree on basic stuff, we certainly cannot go deep in the Word. very sad indeed.

Why can't we all just get along? On gray issues I agree. On point blank issues clear as the pimple on the end of your nose that are consistantly ignored for the reason that they cannot be contested, well that's another story. See my threads. I hammer away at cancerous, ecclesia destroying doctrine using plain scripture.

Christianity, even among Christians, has always been controversial. It will remain so until Christ returns. After all, they nailed Christ to the cross, beheaded John, fed Christians to the lions, and so on it continues today. Also, look at the Christians denomination, which often disagree about what the Word means.

A house divided cannot stand.

There is nothing wrong with debating as long as it is done in a friendly and respectful manner !!!

However I have found out quickly that some can not do this and when questioning them and digging into why they do such tactic's I have almost always got the same reply:

"I only have to be nice to those in body of Christ, all others the gloves are off."

"I only have to be nice to believers, but unbelievers I don't."

"We are to expose the works of darkness, so if you want to support them go ahead I will not."

These are the common 3 excuses I have seen given from such that are called out for mistreating, belittling, and bad mouthing others.

Can somebody please show me where in the Word of God it gives permission to treat others badly ???

I have been studying for over 6 years now and still have not found one passage supporting a hate doctrine !!!

((love fests?... Naw... Ain't like that... Just want folks to realize and relax... It's all the same God y'all.... Ain't nothing wrong with just once in a while stopping and looking at each other and saying "hey, guess what he did for me lately and what I did for him".....sshhh))

In Ephesians 6 it is stated that our contentions and strivings are in fact not with other
human people, but against “principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the
darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness [evil spirits] in high places.”


In Ephesians 2:2, humans have been walking “according to the course of this world,
according to the prince of the power of the air [Satan], the spirit that now worketh

This invisible spirit world (Colossians 1:15-16) is very real but because it is invisible
it has been a mystery. The fact that holy angels and evil spirits are invisible does not
negate their existence.

The Bible explains: “If our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: in whom
the god of this world [Satan] hath blinded the minds of them which believe not”
(2 Corinthians 4:3-4). Satan is the god of this world and is a deciever.

Texas? I would agree with ya about this, but, as C-note said, there are plenty of "other" rooms where this is done already. I would like to think "this/these" threads are more for a deeper "cussing and discussing" as to a how, when, & where "the Church" has fallen short in its/there ability/ies to combat, let alone prevail, not to mention STAND, in the face/s of lawlessness and godlessness......ie, Apostasy........(shhh...Now you've done it....the coffee cup is empty, and this armchair preacher is needing it filled :p) MOHAMMAD!!! (grrr)

I admire your aspiration. The unfortunate thing is there is a group who believe demons are here, sharing, and they have to defend rather than just let people share. I try and follow to give people the benefit of the doubt and listen to what they are saying. It takes a lot of listening to get to know someone, but some want to blow people up at a shadow.

If you listen to cc history, this has always been the mark of issues here. Various issues crop up which are being discussed in church. As long as both sides get a chance to air their point of view, Amen. What gets bad is when people attack individuals and not the theology or argument. But these people will always do this because it makes them feel big.

maybe we would get on better if we showed WHERE the Scriptures quoted by opponents are wrong from the scriptures they quote, rather than 'counter-quoting' by using others which actually deal with a different subject.
