A saved believer does not have to deny Him verbally for him to be denied by Him. A saved believer can be engaging in a work of iniquity that denies Him and that is the reason why Jesus will deny knowing them. That does not mean they are not saved, but that iniquity that denies Him is why He is denying them to disqualify them from the Marriage Supper.

Titus 1:[SUP]16 [/SUP]They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.

That can be any work of the flesh, including heresies, that can deny Him.

Galatians 5:[SUP]19 [/SUP]Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,[SUP] 20 [/SUP]Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,[SUP]21 [/SUP]Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

Luke 13:[SUP]24 [/SUP]Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.[SUP]25 [/SUP]When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are:[SUP] 26 [/SUP]Then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets.[SUP] 27 [/SUP]But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity.[SUP] 28 [/SUP]There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out.[SUP]29 [/SUP]And they shall come from the east, and from the west, and from the north, and from the south, and shall sit down in the kingdom of God.

So even when saved believers do not believe in Him any more and thus deny Him verbally, He still abides in them.

2 Timothy 2:[SUP]11 [/SUP]It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with him, we shall also live with him:[SUP] 12 [/SUP]If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us:[SUP]13 [/SUP]If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.

So even though disqualified saved believers are left behind, He still abides in them and shall find the lost sheep.

Matthew 18:
[SUP]11 [/SUP]For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost.[SUP] 12 [/SUP]How think ye? if a man have an hundred sheep, and one of them be gone astray, doth he not leave the ninety and nine, and goeth into the mountains, and seeketh that which is gone astray?[SUP]13 [/SUP]And if so be that he find it, verily I say unto you, he rejoiceth more of that sheep, than of the ninety and nine which went not astray.[SUP]14 [/SUP]Even so it is not the will of your Father which is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish.

So regardless of the few faithful found abiding in Him by His grace & by His help, He will gather the many of the disqualified lost sheep that have gone astray in these latter days after the pre trib rapture for He is the Good Shepherd as He will lose none of all the Father has given Him.

John 6:[SUP]39 [/SUP]And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.

There are 2 kinds of inheritance to be had by saved believers; the vessel unto honor which is the eternal glory we may have in Christ Jesus at the pre trib rapture by His grace & by His help as our Good Shepherd or......

....the vessels unto dishonor that did not look to Jesus Christ to help them lay aside every weight & sin in running that race, and thus found unrepentant in iniquity to become castaways at the pre trib rapture.

So may every saved believer and former believers heed this call to go before that throne of grace for help to discern & to depart from iniquity in getting ready by the Good Shepherd to be received by the Bridegroom.

2 Timothy 2:[SUP]18 [/SUP]Who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection is past already; and overthrow the faith of some.[SUP]19 [/SUP]Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.[SUP]20 [/SUP]But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour.[SUP]21 [/SUP]If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work.

2 Corinthians 5:[SUP]9 [/SUP]Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him.[SUP] 10 [/SUP]For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.[SUP]11 [/SUP]Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences.

1 Peter 4:[SUP]17 [/SUP]For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?[SUP] 18 [/SUP]And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?[SUP]19 [/SUP]Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator.

Hebrews 12:1Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,[SUP]2 [/SUP]Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

1 Corinthians 9:[SUP]24 [/SUP]Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain.[SUP]25 [/SUP]And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible.[SUP] 26 [/SUP]I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air:[SUP]27 [/SUP]But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.

So the loss of the rewards of crowns are not the only consequence for not trusting Jesus Christ as your Good Shepherd to help you to follow Him ; becoming a castaway is, at the pre trib rapture event when God will judge His House.

Luke 21:[SUP]33 [/SUP]Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.[SUP]34 [/SUP]And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.[SUP] 35 [/SUP]For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.[SUP]36 [/SUP]Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

God does not really expect us to "try" our best, but to "trust" Jesus Christ at His word that He shall be our Good Shepherd in helping us to run that race in laying aside every weight and sin. He will finish His work in us to His glory. The crowns we receive are really His crowning achievements in us which will be why saints will cast their crowns at His feet in Heaven for we shall be the work of His hands in giving all the glory to Him.

1 John 3:3 And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.....8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

Philippians 1:6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ: 7 Even as it is meet for me to think this of you all, because I have you in my heart; inasmuch as both in my bonds, and in the defence and confirmation of the gospel, ye all are partakers of my grace. 8 For God is my record, how greatly I long after you all in the bowels of Jesus Christ. 9 And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment; 10 That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ. 11 Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.

2 Timothy 4:18 And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

Jude 1:24 Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, 25 To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.

So trust Jesus Christ as your Good Shepherd today, and pray at that throne of grace to help you discern and to depart from iniquity to be ready to go.

Sorry. That went over my head. I don't get it.
I would suppose it is another argument in favor of sin...it seems to be a life long mission for him....just a guess on my part, but its probably another wisenhimer remark. he's known quite well for them. He despises any who bring forth holiness teachings, while advocating works of obedience. in fact it seems he is paranoid of such believers, thus standing guard behind a key board 24/7 defending sin, must not have any other life I would suppose..

Enow, there is no salvation after the return of Christ....Christ is gathering His remnant of believers only during the church age, and then the end of the world as we know it will have come to and end, whereas the kingdom is delivered back up to God, and Christ's office of redemption will have come to a close, whereas eternity in the new heavens and new earth will be ushered in, as the elements of this creation will be dissolved in fervent heat..be blessed

the rapture was invented by John Darby, and never heard of before him...

Darby was part of the Powers Court secession, he was influenced by Irving who copied the Jesuit Emanuel Lacunza's writings in 1827 pertaining to the end of the world, of the which was originally formed in the mind of a previous Jesuit theologian Fransisco Ribera in 1582..be blessed in searching this out....

Thanks for offering the supposition and you are probably correct, however, he should answer to clarify his response to remove all doubts. If not, then his response shall remain as is.. silly, but the punchline is lost.

Seems there is one other accused as being the creator of the rapture teaching as well, but I would not believe it.

Have you ever wondered why Jesus is warning believers to be ready in a time when they would be ensnared by the cares of this life? If you can imagine just how bad it will be for the believers at the end of the great tribulation where one has to have the mark of the beast to buy and sell to survive as christians are being hunted down to be killed, how can any believer be going about their lives freely in such an atmosphere that would not want to leave that life?

Luke 21:[SUP]33 [/SUP]Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.[SUP] 34 [/SUP]And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.[SUP]35 [/SUP]For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.[SUP]36 [/SUP]Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

So there is an escape and believers should be praying that Jesus will help them to be found abiding in Him as well as being willing to go, because the pre trib rapture is when God will judge His House first.

what exactly are you calling iniquity?

serious question
Well, the iniquity that Jesus was addressing in Matthew 7:21-23 is tied in to Matthew 7:13-27 which deals with these movements of the "spirit" that invokes the "holy Spirit" to come and fall on them to bring signs, even the sign of tongues, where believers fall down in confusion which God is not the author of.

But any iniquity as practicing or sowing to the work of the flesh can get a saved believer disqualified from attending the Marriage Supper at the pre trib rapture event.

Galatians 5:[SUP]19 [/SUP]Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,[SUP]20 [/SUP]Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,[SUP]21 [/SUP]Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

Do note that any heresy are a work of an iniquity that denies Him as well.

This is why believers are to trust Jesus Christ as their personal Good Shepherd, praying that He will help them to discern and to depart from living in iniquity so as to walk in the light as He did to be abiding in Him to be ready to go.

1 John 1:[SUP]3 [/SUP]That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.[SUP] 4 [/SUP]And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full.[SUP] 5 [/SUP]This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.[SUP] 6 [/SUP]If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:[SUP] 7 [/SUP]But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.[SUP] 8 [/SUP]If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.[SUP] 9 [/SUP]If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.[SUP]10 [/SUP]If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

Continuing into the 2 nd chapter.

1 John 2:1My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:[SUP]2 [/SUP]And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

John was addressing errant believers that believed sin was no longer sin any more and that they could walk in darkness for which he opposed them by pointing to Him how He walked in the light and that we are to ask for forgiveness when we do sin, and of course, ask Him for help not to do it again.. as Hebrews 12:1-2 exhorts us to look to the author & finisher of our faith to help us lay aside every weight & sin in running that race with confidence in Him to finish that race.

So ask Jesus Christ for help in trusting Him as your Good Shepherd to help you to follow Him and He will, but do not be surprised if He is pointing out errors in your church or in your favorite christian role model ( other than Jesus ) or in your favorite christian movie or your favorite christian music or your favorite christian hymnal or in anything or anyone.

Even me. Prove everything by Him.

James 1:[SUP]5 [/SUP]If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

Hebrews 4:[SUP]12 [/SUP]For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.[SUP] 13 [/SUP]Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.[SUP] 14 [/SUP]Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.[SUP] 15 [/SUP]For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.[SUP]16 [/SUP]Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

1 Thessalonians 5:[SUP]21 [/SUP]Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.[SUP]22 [/SUP]Abstain from all appearance of evil.[SUP]23 [/SUP]And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.[SUP] 24 [/SUP]Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.

Philippians 1:[SUP]6 [/SUP]Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:[SUP]7 [/SUP]Even as it is meet for me to think this of you all, because I have you in my heart; inasmuch as both in my bonds, and in the defence and confirmation of the gospel, ye all are partakers of my grace.[SUP] 8 [/SUP]For God is my record, how greatly I long after you all in the bowels of Jesus Christ.[SUP] 9 [/SUP]And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment;[SUP]10 [/SUP]That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ.[SUP]11 [/SUP]Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.

1 John 3:[SUP]3 [/SUP]And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.....[SUP]8 [/SUP]He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

2 Timothy 4:[SUP]18 [/SUP]And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

Jude 1:[SUP]24 [/SUP]Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,[SUP]25 [/SUP]To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.

well, there seems to be quite a bit of opinion and personal interpretation going on with your 'points to ponder'

we are not on the same page, but you did write the op, so here is a bit of my position

1. I don't believe scripture indicates a pre-trib rapture. as you do, it may play a part in your op here. I don't know

2. it seems you do not believe in the manifestation of the gifts of the Holy Spirit which is simply against what scripture teaches. if you do believe in the spiritual gifts and I am wrong you can correct me I'm sure

3. let me just sum it all up here anyway. any "Christian" practicing works of the flesh or iniquity (pre-meditated and ongoing sin) or suffers from "transgressions" ? that is, a Christian practicing iniquity (which is actually more than what you lay out), must have a hardened heart and shallow roots.

as it is, John, whom you interpret in some interesting ways, acknowledges that we do sin even if we are not 'living in sin' and if we say we do not, we are liars.

I am not practicing iniquity, but if I do sin, I have an advocate with the Father and He is faithful and just to forgive my sin

2 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: I John 2:1

Well, Jesus has spoken about it for why believers are warned to be ready to escape what is coming on the earth. The atmosphere for which believers are to be ready when the Bridegroom comes is hardly describing the end of the great tribulation when believers are being hunted down and killed when everybody else needs the mark of the beast just to buy and sell to survive in that new world order.

Luke 21:[SUP]25 [/SUP]And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;[SUP] 26 [/SUP]Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.[SUP]27 [/SUP]And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.[SUP]28 [/SUP]And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.[SUP]29 [/SUP]And he spake to them a parable; Behold the fig tree, and all the trees;[SUP]30 [/SUP]When they now shoot forth, ye see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand.[SUP] 31 [/SUP]So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand.[SUP] 32 [/SUP]Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled.[SUP]33 [/SUP]Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.[SUP] 34 [/SUP]And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.[SUP] 35 [/SUP]For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.[SUP]36 [/SUP]Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

So would Jesus warning to believers be kind of moot under the oppression of the great tribulation? Yes. So the warnings applies to believers now to examine themselves in the faith with His help at that throne of grace.

2. it seems you do not believe in the manifestation of the gifts of the Holy Spirit which is simply against what scripture teaches. if you do believe in the spiritual gifts and I am wrong you can correct me I'm sure
I believe in God's gift of tongues which is of other men's lips to speak unto the people, but there is a supernatural tongue in the world BEFORE Pentecost had come that is just vain and profane babbling. Tongue speakers today are hyping gaining that tongue which comes with no interpretation by preaching the LIE that you can receive the Holy Spirit separate from salvation. This is the falling away from the faith that Paul was talking about wherein by that iniquity, Paul rebukes that lie by reminding believers when they had received the sanctification of the Spirit & the belief of the truth and that was by the calling of the gospel when they were saved.

2 Thessalonians 2:[SUP]13 [/SUP]But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:[SUP]14 [/SUP]Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.[SUP]15 [/SUP]Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle.

2 Corinthians 11:[SUP]3 [/SUP]But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.[SUP]4 [/SUP]For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.

2 Corinthians 13:[SUP]5 [/SUP]Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?

So I ask you to go before that throne of grace and ask Jesus in your normal praying mode for the discernment and confirmation that this is the lie that IS causing many believers to fall away from the faith because they do not stop there just for a sign of tongues even though tongues were not to serve as a sign to the believers for anything ( 1 Corinthians 14:20-22 ) They seek to receive the Holy Spirit again in the "slain in the Spirit" and the "being drunk in the Spirit" and the "holy laughter movement" and it just goes on and on for more confusion which God is not the author of. 1 Corinthians 14:32-33 )

3. let me just sum it all up here anyway. any "Christian" practicing works of the flesh or iniquity (pre-meditated and ongoing sin) or suffers from "transgressions" ? that is, a Christian practicing iniquity (which is actually more than what you lay out), must have a hardened heart and shallow roots.
Or they are babes in Christ that do not have any roots to know any better which is why His disciples are to teach new believers on His promises to them as their Good Shepherd for what they are trusting Him for in being able in following Him.

as it is, John, whom you interpret in some interesting ways, acknowledges that we do sin even if we are not 'living in sin' and if we say we do not, we are liars.

Correct. There would be no race if there was no looking to the author & finisher of our faith to help us lay aside every weight & sin in following Him, but there is and our need of Him as our Good Shepherd can be seen in this music video below. So trust Him today to prove everything that has been shared today by Him to discern iniquity so you can lean on Him to depart from it..

Which all of them need Jesus for to ask for forgiveness and for help not to do it again as we are to rely on Him all the time as our Good Shepherd to help us to follow Him for we cannot live this reconciled relationship with God without Him.

Thanks for sharing.

2 Peter 1:[SUP]20 [/SUP]Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.[SUP]21 [/SUP]For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

ALL BIBLES; including the KJV, in John 16:13 testify that the Holy Spirit cannot speak for Himself; He can only speak what He hears.

Pick any Bible at Bible Gateway, it will tell you the same thing.

That is why all modern bibles are wrong when translating Romans 8:26-27 for implying that the Holy Spirit can utter or speak His own intercessions whereas the KJV has kept the truth of that message in lining up with John 16:13 wherein the Greek word alalhtoV or alaletos is defined as in Strong's Concordance "from a - a 1 (as a negative particle) and a derivative of lalew - laleo 2980; unspeakable:--unutterable, which cannot be uttered." That means The Holy Spirit cannot utter or speak His own intercessions in verse 26.

And yet somehow, modern Bibles are coming across that sounds are being made by the Holy Spirit in giving His intercessions whereas the KJV states plainly "with groaning which cannot be uttered" hence no sound at all. In verse 27, it testifies of Another that knows the mind of the Spirit Who is also the same he that searches our hearts Whom is Jesus Christ, the Lord ( Hebrews 4:12-16 ) and that is how the unspeakable intercessions of the Spirit are known to God the Father.

So there is no way Romans 8:26-27 in all modern Bibles is correct because it goes against the truth in scripture in that modern Bible of John 16:13. And so there is no way the Holy Spirit would use God's gift of tongues as a prayer language when 1 Corinthians 14:20-22 cites that it is used to speak unto the people as the Holy Spirit hears from Him.

Therefore ergo... how they gained this supernatural tongue is also being reproved by the scripture as citing that you can receive the Holy Spirit separate from salvation by a sign of tongues and yet tongues were not to serve as a sign towards believers for anything. ( 1 Corinthians 14:22 ) AND more importantly, that would be preaching another Jesus or another spirit to receive which is what Paul warned against in 2 Corinthians 11:3-4. Indeed, this is the falling away from the faith talked about by Paul in 2 Thessalonians 2nd chapter wherein he reminded people of the tradition in verses 13-15 to speak against the lie that many have fallen away from the faith for and that tradition is you had received the sanctification of the Spirit & the belief of the truth at the calling of the gospel; and no other calling was given in order to receive the promise of the Spirit by faith in Jesus Christ.

Nowhere in the Book of Acts were sinners prepped to receive the Holy Ghost after a sign of tongues. Nowhere in the Book of Acts were believers that were already saved, were prepped to receive the Holy Spirit after a sign of tongues.

You have scripture speaking against not only how believers were getting this tongue without interpretation, but the tongue itself as it must come with interpretation or understood by a foreigner or it is vain & profane babbling supernatural tongue as found in the world that even the Bible testified of in Isaiah 8:19 in the occult.

The apostle John warned believers not to believe every spirit but test them, and that test is that greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world and those with the spirit of error will speak that supernatural tongue that the world speaks as they receive their spirits after a sign too, including a sign of vain & profane babbling. 1 John 4:1-6

This is the falling away from the faith spoken of in 1 Timothy 4:1-2.

They preach that believers do not always get the Holy Spirit at salvation and they are to seek the Holy Spirit separate from salvation by a sign of tongues, but Romans 8:9 reproves that because any one that has not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of His.

They preach it is another baptism of the Holy Ghost that comes with evidence of tongues, but 1 Corinthians 12:13 says there is only one baptism with the One Spirit that we ALL have been baptized by in having that one drink of the One Spirit.

They even preach that if you do not speak in tongues, you do not have the Holy Spirit, and thus you are not saved, but 1 Corinthians 12:30 has Paul saying that not all speaks in tongues & 1 Corinthians 14:22 cites that tongues were not to serve as a sign to believers that they were saved, but tongues were to serve as a sign to unbelievers.

So no matter how you slice it, tongue speakers are doing the private interpretation to fit that tongue without interpretation and thus it is assumed it is a prayer language of the Holy Spirit into scripture at the expense of the truth in John 16:13.

So I ask you since Jesus Christ is your Good Shepherd, to go before that throne of grace for help to see this lie for what it is because they do not know what that phenomenon was nor that tongue which is a stranger's voice they are following.
