The reason FOR worshiping / attending church services on Sunday include the biblical FACT that the resurrection of Jesus was discovered on "the first day of the week," which on most printed calendars is Sunday!
If we consult Scripture we see Messiah ahd already resurrected before Sunday:

By all 4 accounts He had already Resurrected before the 1[SUP]st[/SUP] day/ Sunday
Matthew 28:1-6, "”But late in the sabbath, as it was dawning into day one of the week, Miryam from Maḡdala and the other Miryam came to see the tomb. And see, there was a great earthquake, for a messenger of יהוה came down out of heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat on it. And his appearance was like lightning, and his garments as white as snow. And the guards trembled for fear of him, and became like dead men. And the messenger responding, said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek יהושע who was impaled. He is not here, for He was raised, as He said. Come, see the place where the Master lay.”

Mark 16:1-6, “And when the Sabbath was past, Miryam from Maḡdala, and Miryam the mother of Ya‛aqoḇ, and Shelomah bought spices, to go and anoint Him. And very early on day one of the week, they came to the tomb when the sun had risen. And they said among themselves, “Who shall roll away the stone from the entrance of the tomb for us?” And looking up, they saw that the stone had been rolled away, for it was extremely large. And having entered into the tomb, they saw a young man sitting on the right, wearing a white robe, and they were greatly astonished. And he said to them, “Do not be much astonished. You seek יהושע of Natsareth, who was impaled. He was raised – He is not here! See the place where they laid Him.”

Hi Inquisitor,

Very nice to meet you here. Thanks for your comments.

So if what you are saying is correct where is the scripture that says.....................

1, God's 4th commandment is now ABOLISHED and and we are now commanded to Keep Sunday as a Holy day?

2, Where does it say in God's Word the Jesus is a Sabbath?

3, The Sabbath (seventh day) was ever changed from the seventh to the first day of the week?

4, Where we are told to keep the first day of the week holy?

5, Where the first day of the week (Sunday) is ever called a holy day?

6, That says that Jesus ever kept the first day (Sunday)?

7, That tells us to keep the first day in honour of the resurrection of Christ?

8, Where the first day is ever given any sacred name?

9, That affirms that any of the apostles ever kept the first day as the Sabbath?

10, From any apostolic writings that authorizes Sunday observance as the Sabbath of God?

11, Where we are told not to work on the first day of the week?

12, That says the seventh day is no longer God's Sabbath day?

13, That says the seventh day Sabbath is ABOLISHED?

14, Where the apostles ever taught any convert to keep the first day of the week as a Sabbath?

15, Where the first day was ever appointed to be kept as the Lord's Day?

16, Where the first day of the week is ever called the Lord's Day?

17, That says that the first day of the week was ever sanctified and hallowed as a day of rest?

18, That says that the Father or the Son (Jesus) rested on the first day of the week?

19, That says that Jesus, Paul or any other of the apostles taught anyone to observe the first day of the week as the Sabbath?

20, That calls the seventh day the “Jewish Sabbath” or one text that calls Sunday the “Christian Sabbath”?

21, Telling man to keep the first day of the week holy or to worship or rest on the first day of the week?

22, Authorizing anyone to set aside God's Sabbath and observe any other day?

23, Showing any of the apostles keeping the first day of the week as the Sabbath?

24, Authorizing someone to set aside the fourth Commandment and observe any other day of the week?

25, Where any apostle taught us to keep the first day of the week as the Sabbath?

26, Declaring that the seventh day is no longer the Eternal Sabbath day?

27, Where Sunday is now appointed to be kept as the New Testament Sabbath or holy day?

If you cannot answer any of the above, you may want to consider what it is you believe. Only the BELIEVERS and FOLLOWERS of GOD's Word are His people. Those who continue practicing KNOWN SIN will not enter into the Kingdom of Heaven.

Who should we obey God or man?

.......................

God's 4th commandment is one of the ten ( Exodus 20:8-11 ) and like any of the ten, if we knowingly break it when God ask s us not to we stand guilty before God of committing sin (James 2:8-12). If we do not seek him in repentance and forgiveness we are in danger of the Judgement (Hebrews 10:26-27)

There is not one scripture in ALL of God's WORD that says God's 4th commandment is now ABOLISHED and we are now commanded to worship God on Sunday in it's place.

Sunday worship is a tradition and teaching of man that has lead many to break the commandments of God. Jesus says that if we follow the traditions of man that break the commandments of God we are not following God (Matthew 15:3-9)

Only the believers and followers of God's Word are his people. Those that practice SIN will NOT enter into the Kingdom of Heaven.

None of those scriptures say that God's 4th commandments is no longer required and we are now commanded to keep Sunday as a Holy day do they?

So I guess that is a NO, you cannot answer those questions posted earlier?

Travelling to any church building on any day of the week and gathering there in fellowship to praise the King is not 'sabbath observance'

We are in the NEW Covenant now posthuman. The 4th commandment in God's Word is........

Exodus 20
8,
Remember the SABBATH DAY, to KEEP IT HOLY. <Why?> Because God made it Holy for mankind and commands us to keep it as a Holy day)
9, Six days shalt thou labor, and do all thy work:
10, But the SEVENTH DAY IS THE SABBATH of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: <WHY?>
11, For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the SEVENTH DAY: wherefore the LORD BLESSED THE SABBATH, and HALLOWED IT.

The commandment says nothing about not going out on God's Sabbath. In fact I am sure you know that in the days of Jesus they all met for worship in the Synagogue? Jesus is our example don't you think we should follow him who loves us?

Luke 4:16
And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and stood up for to read.

Act 17:2

And Paul, as his manner was, went in unto them, and three Sabbath days reasoned with them out of the scriptures

Hebrews 10
23, Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)
24, And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:
25, Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
26, For if we sin willfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remains no more sacrifice for sins,
27, But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.

................

God's 4th commandment is one of the ten (Exodus 20:8-11) and like any of the ten, if we knowingly break it when God asks us not to we stand guilty before God of committing sin (James 2:8-12). If we do not seek him in repentance and forgiveness we are in danger of the Judgement (Hebrews 10:26-27)

Your questions were mostly centered around Old Covenant scripture that applied only to the Jewish people. In the New Covenant, however, the "gentiles" have been grafted in. I am sure that I could respond to all those questions, but I don't think it's worth the effort, since you have already made up your mind, and no amount of scripture quoting or reasoning is likely to change your mind. Why don't you find a lamb and sacrifice it to the Lord in the evening twilight? But don't forget WHERE you are supposed to be LOCATED when you do such a thing!

What did Jesus mean by "a New Covenant" if the Old one was REMAINING IN EFFECT?

It is the same for all the commandments if you knowingly break any of God's 10 commandments then you stand guilty before God in SIN. If you do not REPENT and seek God's FORGIVENESS then you are in danger of the judgement. SIN will keep all those who practice it out of the KINGDOM of HEAVEN (Hebrews 10:26-27; Matthew 7:12-27)

...............

IN times of ignorance God winks at but now calls all men every where to REPENT for the KINGDOM of HEAVEN is at HAND (Acts 17:30-31)

God's 4th commandment is one of the ten (Exodus 20:8-11) If we break any one of the ten we stand guilty before God of SIN (James 2:8-11) and need to repent and seek his forgiveness (Proverbs 28:13; 1 John 2:1; 1 John 1:9). Those that continue a life in known unrepentant sin will not enter into God's Kingdom (Hebrews 10:26-27)

There is NO SCRIPTURE that says that God's 4th commandment has been ABOLISHED and we are now COMMANDED to keep Sunday as a HOLY day

Sunday worship is a tradition and teaching of man that has lead many to break the commandments of God. Jesus says that if we follow the traditions of man that break the commandments of God we are not following God (Matthew 15:3-9)

Who should we follow the teachings and traditions of men or the Word of God? Who should we believe the Words of men or the Word of God?
break command of God guilty,

God command to kill sabbath violator

SDA not kill sabbath violator

so SDA guilty and not follow sabbath law

134 Exodus 23:11 - On ownerless produce of the Sabbatical year (shemittah) .
But the seventh year thou shalt let it rest and lie still; that the poor of thy people may eat: and what they leave the beasts of the field shall eat. In like manner thou shalt deal with thy vineyard, and with thy oliveyard.
135 Leviticus 25:4 - On resting the land on the Sabbatical year.
But in the seventh year shall be a sabbath of rest unto the land, a sabbath for the LORD: thou shalt neither sow thy field, nor prune thy vineyard.

All 613 Commandments in the Old Testament Law of Moses
www.gods-word-first.org/bible-study/...
All 613 Commandments in the Old Testament Law. There are a whole lot more than only 10 Commandments found in the Old Testament, there are 613 Commandments! Below is a list of the 613 mitzvot commandments (mitzvot is plural, mitzvah is singular). There are both "positive" and "negative" mitzvot (do's and don'ts) ...
Lev 10v10...are we not supposed to 'put difference between holy and unholy ? between GOD's sacred spiritual 10 Commandments to which HE added no more Deut 5v22 - and the commandments contained in ordinances/works that were temporal and came through Moses ?
Gentiles/christians need to pay much more attention to DETAIL in order to understand God and His Word !!!

Command the sons of Israel and say to them,

‘You shall be careful to present My offering, My food for My offerings by fire, of a soothing aroma to Me, at their appointed time.’

‘Then on the sabbath day two male lambs one year old without defect, and two-tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with oil as a grain offering, and its drink offering:
This is the burnt offering of every sabbath in addition to the continual burnt offering and its drink offering.

With the NT came also a 'change in the law...did/does Jesus teach us to continue sacrificial offering ?
Of course not and you know it ...so why hark back to it ?

the point is that accusing everyone who worships God in an assembly on a 'wrong' day of the week of violating or forgetting the sabbath is absolutely insupportable nonsense.

the only position a person can sanely hold in such a wise is that it's actually the people who travel out of their homes kindling fire in a church and/or in their combustion-engine driven vehicles and handling money into or out of the solicitation plate on a sabbath are the ones who, according to the Law, actually in violation of the sabbath.
i'll leave it to the well-rehearsed SDA apologists to explain why that's actually not only cool but much better and way holier behavior on their part than someone who dutifully stays home with God's praise in their heart on saturdays, and goes out to assemble with other believers on sunday. let them thank God they are not like such 'sunday-keeping' hell-doomed heathens.

you're saying that everything in the Law that God commanded Moses to command Israel to keep other than Exodus 20:1-17 is "unholy" ??
