in this text Paul not say It is regarding the connextion between food and day. If so the verse Will be If one Eat certain food oN certain day that fine, If one Eat AS every day alike that's fine
What you are doing now is hold to one verse by ignore all the chapter CONTEXT and the context my friend is talking about food eating or not eating (fasting) in connection to days dedicated to the Lord for fasting of food offererd to idols as shown above going through each scripture.

We looked at each scripture and NO SCRIPTURE even mentions God's Sabbath or the 4th commandment. It is only talking about juding others in relation to food and days dedicated to God. There is no mention of abolishing anything in the whole Chapter.

If you believe it is not true then please who me where Romans 14 is talking about God's 4th commandment when the Sabbath day is not even mentioned in the whole book of Romans?

If you cannot do you think you are building on the sand? How will you explain to God on Judgement day that you broke his 4th commandments when it does not say anything in the book of Romans about not keeping God's Sabbath a Holy day?

...........................

God's 4th commandment is one of the ten (Exodus 20:8-11) If we knowingly break it when God asks us not to we stand guilty before God of committing sin (James 2:8-12). If we do not seek him in repentance and forgiveness we are in danger of the Judgement (Hebrews 10:26-27)

There is not one scripture in ALL of God's WORD that says God's 4th commandment is now ABOLISHED and we are now commanded to worship God on Sunday in it's place.

Sunday worship is a tradition and teaching of man that has lead many to break the commandments of God. Jesus says that if we follow the traditions of man that break the commandments of God we are not following God (Matthew 15:3-9)

In times of ignorance God winks at but now calls all men every where to REPENT for the KINGDOM of HEAVEN is at HAND (Acts 17:30-31)

Hope this help.......

Hi Brother Jackson,

Well that is NOT true. Romans 14 is talking about food eating or not eating (fasting) in connection to days dedicated to the Lord for fasting of food offererd to idols as shown above going through each scripture.

We looked at each scripture and NO SCRIPTURE even mentions God's Sabbath or the 4th commandment. It is only talking about juding others in relation to food and days dedicated to God. There is no mention of abolishing anything in the whole Chapter.

If we brake any of God's commandments it is showing we do not LOVE God or our fellow man...

Thie is why Jesus says....... If you LOVE me keep my COMMANDMENTS (John 14:15;15:10)

In times of ignorance God winks at but now calls all men every where to REPENT for the KINGDOM of HEAVEN is at HAND (Acts 17:30-31)

Now that you have agreed with me do you now understand that LOVE in the New Covenant is God fulfilling his LAW in us to free us from SIN so that we are now free to LOVE and Follow him?

Hope this help.......
I believe Romans 14 is about food and day,

some believe vegetarian, some believe Eat meat, some believe one day above other, some believe every day alike.

I do not believe It only about food.

Jew not Eat pork, gentile Eat pork It is OK do not judge vegetarian or non vegetarian.

Hello Shrume,

Nice to meet you. Some comments for you below..........

Man, you are RELENTLESS in pushing your beliefs. You keep repeating the same things over and over and over.
What is repeated over and over? It is the Word of God we either believe and follow it or we do not. It is the Word of God that will judge all on judgement day and we should BELIEVE and FOLLOW it if we wish to see Jesus in peace.

Maybe "abolished" is not the right word, but it is not necessary for Christians to keep the Sabbath as defined in the law of Moses.
Where does it say this in the scriptures?

Col 2:16) Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath [days]: 17) Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.
Well this only shows you have not read the OP here and the 200+ scritpures that disagree with your interpretation of 2 verses. Do you have anything to share in relation to the OP?

Rom 14:
5) One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.
Nope this does not say the God's 4th commandment is Abolished and we are now commanded to keep Sunday as a Holy day. Where does it even mention God's 4th commandment in the whole book of Romans? If it does not mention the 4th commandment why sould you think it does?

Hebrews chapters 3 and 4 only supports keeping the Sabbath and says that God's people did not enter into His rest because of their UNBELIEF and DISOBEDIENCE and is a warning to us today. Nope this chapter does not say that God's 4th commandment has been Abolished and we are now commanded to keep Sunday as a Holy day.

All irrelevant. Christians can worship god any time they want to, the day(s) of the week do not matter.
You just ignored ALL the questions and did not anser ANY of them. It is ok you do not have to. Maybe you can pray about them and answer them at home.

The 7th day is God's Sabbath, but it is not necessary for Christians to observe it. See #1. You're repeating yourself. See #1.
You have not made any points or provided any scriptures that support your view as yet. Where does it say in the bible that Christians do not keep the Sabbath or any of God's commandments?

All irrelevant. Sunday is no different from any other day of the week. And for Christians, neither is Saturday..
You keep saying point 1 but you have not made any points or provided any scriptures that support your view as yet. Where does it say in the bible that Christians do not keep the Sabbath or any of God's commandments?

We should believe God when Paul wrote by revelation that it is not necessary for Christians to keep certain days, or allow others to judge us for not keeping certain days. He specifically mentions the Sabbath.
Really? Where does Paul say by revelation that it is not Necessary for anyone to keep God's 4th commandment or any other of God's 10 commandments secifically mentioning God's 4th commandment?

You need to learn what God through Christ accomplished for us on the day of Pentecost.
And you think I do not why?

If you want to keep the Sabbath? Fine, you go right ahead and do so. But you are wrong to judge others for not doing so.
This is where you may have a misunderstanding. I do not judging anyone. It is God's Word that judges all. I am only sharing God's Word as my duty of LOVE to God and my fellow man.

Sin will keep all who KNOWINGLY practice it out of God's Kingdom.

Judging by how committed you are to your cause, you will probably respond with another huge post repeating what you have said ~50 times in the last week or so. That's cool. This will be my only response to you.

What is it that I have repeated 50x in the last week?

Hope this helps. :)
Hope this helps :).........

Hello friend, I have no theology accept the Word of God. It is on the Word of God we stand or fall. If you have nothing to share from God's Word accept to point all to the teachings and traditions of men over the Word of God then you are only building your House on sand and great shall be the fall of it.

As it is written.................

Let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged (Romans 3:4).

He that says he KNOWS him and does not keep His commandments is a LIAR and the TRUTH is not IN him (1 John 2:3-4).

See?
The real story is that Moses married into those evil people. The daughter of a pagan priest no less.

Hello gb9, as I mentioned earlier, I only follow God's Word and point all to the Word of God and so should you.

Why do you feel the need to change the topic? Do you have any scruiptures to share in relation to the OP here?

If you do not have any scriptures to share should you not believe and Follow the Word of God and receive Gods blessings?

You ask what the problem was with Moses marrying a Midianiate woman and you ask for evidence of Moses wrong doing. Clearly you do not know your Bible very well or you would not have asked those two questions.

For your information this is what the god of Moses told him to do and I suggest you let the subject drop and forget all this Moses stuff. He is NOT the one to follow. Jesus tells us the words of our Father God, so listen to Jesus.

And the children of Israel took all the women of Midian captives, and their little ones, and took the spoil of all their cattle,
and all their flocks, and all their goods. And they burnt all their cities wherein they dwelt,
and all their goodly castles, with fire. And they took all the spoil, and all the prey, both of men and of beasts.

And they brought the captives, and the prey, and the spoil, unto Moses, and Eleazar the priest, and unto the congregation
of the children of Israel, unto the camp at the plains of Moab, which are by Jordan near Jericho.
And Moses, and Eleazar the priest, and all the princes of the congregation, went forth to meet them without the camp.
And Moses was wroth with the officers of the host, with the captains over thousands, and captains over hundreds,
which came from the battle.

And Moses said unto them, Have ye saved all the women alive?
Behold, these caused the children of Israel, through the counsel of Balaam, to commit trespass against the LORD
in the matter of Peor, and there was a plague among the congregation of the LORD.

Now therefore kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman that hath known man by lying with him.
But all the women children, that have not known a man by lying with him, keep alive for yourselves.
(Num 31:9-18)

What you seem not to realize is that Midian is a name used to describe two distinct tribes.

One Midianite tribe was descended from a son of Abraham by Keturah.
This Midian had 5 sons one of whom was Hanoch.
From Hanoch came the Hyskos Pharaohs, one of whom showed kindness to Joseph and Jacob; and the Kenites and the Rechabites who from the time of the Exodus showed kindness and friendship to Israel. Jethro, Moses' Father-in-Law was a Kenite.

The other Midian is an Arabian tribe not clearly identified and often associated with Ishmael. This is the Midian was associated with Moab at the time of Balaam and Balack.

You seem to be confusing the two. Also your assessment of Moses seems to be at considerable variance with God's assessment.

I want to add to that:

The wife of Moses was the daughter of a Midianite priest called Zipporah. She was an Ethiopian woman, or in the Hebrew, “a Cushite woman.” Arabia was usually called in Scripture the land of Cush, its inhabitants were the descendants of Noah's son of Ham (see on Exo_2:15) and were a vile and contemptible race (see on Amo_9:7). (Jamison, Fawcett and Brown)

Exo 2:16-22
16 Now the priest of Midian had seven daughters: and they came and drew water, and filled the troughs to water their father's flock.
17 And the shepherds came and drove them away: but Moses stood up and helped them, and watered their flock.
18 And when they came to Reuel their father, he said, How is it that ye are come so soon to day?
19 And they said, An Egyptian delivered us out of the hand of the shepherds, and also drew water enough for us, and watered the flock.
20 And he said unto his daughters, And where is he? why is it that ye have left the man? call him, that he may eat bread.
21 And Moses was content to dwell with the man: and he gave Moses Zipporah his daughter.
22 And she bare him a son, and he called his name Gershom: for he said, I have been a stranger in a strange land.

Moving on to Numbers chapter 12 we read

"And Miriam and Aaron spake against Moses because of the Ethiopian woman whom he had married: for he had married an Ethiopian woman."

These were the descendants of Ham, a son of Noah and you will be familiar with the curse of Ham? Amos 9:8 tells us the Lord GOD of hosts was going to destroy this sinful kingdom.

Amo 9:5-8
5 And the Lord GOD of hosts is he that toucheth the land, and it shall melt, and all that dwell therein shall mourn: and it shall rise up wholly like a flood; and shall be drowned, as by the flood of Egypt.
6 It is he that buildeth his stories in the heaven, and hath founded his troop in the earth; he that calleth for the waters of the sea, and poureth them out upon the face of the earth: The LORD is his name.
7 Are ye not as children of the Ethiopians unto me, O children of Israel? saith the LORD. Have not I brought up Israel out of the land of Egypt? and the Philistines from Caphtor, and the Syrians from Kir?
8 Behold, the eyes of the Lord GOD are upon the sinful kingdom, and I will destroy it from off the face of the earth; saving that I will not utterly destroy the house of Jacob, saith the LORD.

The mountain of God was on land belonging to the tribe of Midian and Moses married the daughter of a Middianite priest. It was in the High places on the mountain tops that the alters to the false gods were made and long after the settlement in Canaan this region continued to be regarded as the abode of Yahweh (Judg. v. 4; Deut. xxxiii. 2 sqq.; i Kings xix. 8 sqq. &c.).

Keep reading they sinne by falsely accusing Mosheh of wrongdoing, we already went through thia a month or so ago, and I showed you the Scriptures and now we are here again....:

Numbers 12:1-16, "12:1, "Now Miryam and Aharon spoke against Mosheh because of the Kushite woman whom he had taken, for he had taken a Kushite woman."12:2, "And they said, “Has
יהוה spoken only through Mosheh? I seem to recall that Miriam, Moses' sister was stricken with leprosy for making a similar comment.
You might recall that Jethro, Zipporah's father was that Midianite priest.
Jethro apparently married a Cushite so his daughter would be reckoned Cushite.

You might also recall that the curse was on Canaan NOT Ham; and the Cushites were and are a noble and respected people; who until Haile Salassie was deposed in the late 1960s were among Israel's few constant friends.

Has He not also spoken through us?” And יהוה heard it."12:3, "And the man Mosheh was very humble, more than all men who were on the face of the earth."12:4, "And suddenly יהוה said to Mosheh, and Aharon, and Miryam, “You three, come out to the Tent of Appointment!” So the three came out."12:5, "And יהוה came down in the column of cloud and stood in the door of the Tent, and called Aharon and Miryam. And they both went forward."12:6, "And He said, “Hear now My words: If your prophet is of יהוה, I make Myself known to him in a vision, and I speak to him in a dream."12:7, "“Not so with My servant Mosheh, he is trustworthy in all My house."12:8, "“I speak with him mouth to mouth, and plainly, and not in riddles. And he sees the form of יהוה. So why were you not afraid to speak against My servant Mosheh?”"12:9, "And the displeasure of יהוה burned against them, and He left."12:10, "And the cloud turned away from above the Tent, and look: Miryam was leprous, as white as snow! And Aharon turned toward Miryam, and look: a leper!"12:11, "And Aharon said to Mosheh, “Oh, my master! Please do not hold against us the sin in which we have done foolishly and in which we have sinned."12:12, "“Please do not let her be as one dead when coming out of his mother's womb, with his flesh half consumed!”"12:13, "And Mosheh cried out to יהוה, saying, “O Ěl, please heal her, please!”"12:14, "And יהוה said to Mosheh, “If her father had but spit in her face, would she not be ashamed seven days? Let her be shut out of the camp seven days, and after that let her be readmitted.”"12:15, "And Miryam was shut out of the camp seven days, and the people did not set out until Miryam was readmitted."12:16, "And afterward the people departed from Ḥatsĕroth, and they camped in the Wilderness of Paran."

Who can say really, but my mind thinks someone that feels they may fall on the wrong side of that judgment or someone who is in oppisition to His judgement. But, only Yah knows.

8 sqq. &c.).

7 Are ye not as children of the Ethiopians unto me, There are about 17 distinct tribes and 11 distinct languages. The Cushites are only one of these tribes. The Ethiopians spoken of here may not include them. Both the Coptic Jews and the Coptic Christians are descended from the Cushites.

This is a bad subject. The O.T. is a catalogue of evil. Suffice it to say, it was necessary for God to wipe out the Old and make a New Covenant with his people. There is no point in raking up the evils of the Old Testament and still less point in glorifying what happened or those who spearheaded it. We now live in a new dispensation of love and grace, in which every day is the Lords Day.

Hi PS,

Where does it say everyday is the "Lord's Day"?

Matthew 12
8,
For the Son of man is Lord even of the sabbath day.

The Scriptuires only say that the Sabbath is "The Lord's Day"

...........................

You misunderstand. God is Lord of the Sabbath. Right? What that verse tells us is that Jesus is LORD GOD.

Hi PS,
Yes that is correct, and it is the Lord's Day as Matt 12:8 says it is because he made it.
