You convenietly forget the first words of Romans 3:10, as it is written. Well of course St. Paul is referring to the OT since it was the only " bible" and of course all who were in it were sinful. Yes, i agree wholheartedly with this! It in no way refers to Mary since she wasn't. born yet!

Y
Mary not born when Paul wrote? LOL now I've heard everything. Paul was applying it to EVERYONE and that included Mary. The suggestion that Mary was sinless is PURE FANTASY. Why then did she call GOD her SAVIOUR?

Even St. Paul wrote, "work out your own salvation with fear and trembling" does not sound like osas. " Not all who call me Lord will be saved" doesn't sound like osas
typical Roman Catholic. only reads half the words. 'work out your own salvation with fear and trembling BECAUSE IT IS GOD WHO IS AT WORK IN YOU TO WILL AND TO DO OF HIS GOOD PLEASURE.

See how that changes the picture? we work out what God works in. Our salvation is a consequence of God's working, not ours.

I never said she was sinless! You put those words in my mouth! I did say she was born without original sin, not sinless

Clearly if you leave out the words " As it is Written" from Romans 3:10, you change the context. St. Paul was and continued to refer to the OT. I think its interesting that you didn't capitalize the beginning of the verse. Its obvious that Mary was not alive in the OT, so St. Paul must have been referring to the Torah and not the present time he wrote the letter
Clearly, "As it is written" is a premise toward saying that what is coming after that is applicable in the present. It is still applicable today.

It pays to really understand Paul.

There is nothing scriptural about OSAS either. So why do you accept it? Nothing scriptural about a rapture. Why do you accept it? The bible doesn't even mention the bible as sole authority, yet you accept it? Why?
OSAS is what Jesus died to bring us---salvation and the assurance of it. The rapture is completely scriptural. The word of God is defintiely our source of truth, and can be depended on as our authority in spiritual matters, as God is the author, and according to Hebrews 4:!2, it is supernaturally alive and powerful. With the Person of the Holy Spirit speaking to us individually through the words penned by inspired men, we can be assured that whatever God says there is of the highest authority.

There is no other authority.

You do not grasp the meaning in that verse. Fear is reverential awe toward God, and the trembling is the effect that comes with being in the presence of God. In other words, we are to work out (live out) our salvation in the presence of God, continually pressing in to Him. The only people who can do this are the saved.

All who call upon the name of the Lord WILL be saved!

[h=1]Acts 2:21[/h] [SUP]21 [/SUP]And it shall come to pass
That whoever calls on the name of the Lord
Shall be saved.’

[h=1]Romans 10:13[/h] [SUP]13 [/SUP]For “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

neither your soul or mine was picked to eventually become the Mother of God. Id say she's special
Mary is not God's mother. She was the man, Jesus' mother. Man. Flesh and blood. Mary had a special calling, but you cannot inflate her calling to be something more than it is. Your religion is guilty of deifying her.

Come on Ms Fancy, produce these forthwith Now!!!!!!!!! Lol
OSAS - John 6.39; 10.27-28; 1 Cor 1.8-9; Phil 2.6; 2 Tim 1.12; Jude 24.

Now go through these one by one and prove me wrong!!!!

Rapture - 1 Thess 4.13-18; 1 Cor 15.52.

Scripture God's authority. - 1) Jesus use of 'it is written' when combatting Satan in Matt 4.1-11;
2) you make the word of God void through your tradition (Mark 7.13)
3) you leave the commandments of God (in the Scriptures) and hold fast the tradition of men
4) The Scripture cannot be broken
5) The sacred writings which are able to make you wise unto salvation (2 Tim 3.15)
6) ALL Scripture is God-breathed and of value for teaching, --
that the man of God may be made complete. (2 Tim 3.16-17)

If the Scriptures make us wise unto salvation, and also make us complete as men of God what need have we of the wisdom of men and of false priests and fake Popes?

But I was chosen to be a son of God, an heir of God and a joint-heir with Christ. That is a greater privilege even than being the human mother of the Messiah.

actually she was alive in 'Old Testament days'. The Old Testament applied to all Jews in Mary's day, including her. She was a Jewess under the covenant.

But you are back to your totally stupid mode. Paul was saying that it applied to ALL human beings, and that included Mary

But come on, answer my question. WHY DID MARY CALL GOD HER SAVIOUR? why do you keep dodging?

BECAUSE SHE NEEDED A SAVIOR TO. HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH ORIGINAL SIN. I don't recall ever calling you stupid. I may not know scripture like you, glad i don't, but I do study.
