Can anyone anwer the below questions

How would you like to have incredible, unshakable faith—the kind that could withstand any crisis and any amount of suffering?
How would you like to have as much courage and strength as the bravest war hero?; the wisdom to solve all the problems you'll ever face in life?
How would you like to have peace—the kind of deep inner tranquility that can carry you safely and smoothly through all of life's problems?;
How would you like to know your destiny—a unique destiny God has chosen for you from the beginning of time; a destiny so grand in scope and heroic in proportions that it dwarfs all your dreams—a destiny you can still have no matter what your age, job, or position in life?

Well since each question starts with 'How would you like' then my answer would be yes.
In our family lately we have been facing one crisis after another and it is starting to take its toll on me. Family split after a court case where an inlaw is serving time, my brother was deathly ill, my mother suffered a broken arm on one side and dislocated on the other plus multiple bruises. My mother passed away and the brother who was sick had a relapse, another brother is suffering healthwise and depression now. What I had thought was my blessing 2x today was taken from me.
I am really tired and trying hard to keep in God's peace. I haven't felt this way in a long time but it is catching up with me. I am the one closest to the hospital so when a family member ends up in there it is I who goes to visit, takes care of them if necessary and reports back to the family.

I have been asking about my destiny for 7 years now and I keep remembering how long others in the bible waited to keep myself from depression that threatens me occasionally.

I've read so much and listened to others preach on it but I'm still waiting.

Thank you brother Smyrna for your encouraging words. I wish to share as much as I know.

The answer is there in the Holy scriptures but have we found it.

1 Corinthians 13:4-8
New International Version (NIV)

4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

8 Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.

We see many times in the Gospel of Mathews, Jesus says do not worry.

Matthew 6:25-34
New International Version (NIV)
Do Not Worry
25 “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? 26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27 Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life[a]?
28 “And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. 29 Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 30 If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith? 31 So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

And we know

2 Corinthians 1:20
New King James Version (NKJV)
20 For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us.

Such faith is already with us all, it is known not by some great revalation or understanding.
But simply and gently lived in all cirrcomstances.
I used to think it was a difficult reach or goal, untill one day I read where Jesus said, keep your eyes on me.
For we do not walk by sight, but by faith.
When the difficult, the struggle, the loss, the temptation or storm comes?
Jesus asked us to look to Him, we do this in faith, even though we do not see Jesus, in faith we see His help, love and presance is always in us, always our help and salvation.
Before man are fire and water, he chooses.
Jesus is the everlasting water. :)
When we choose Jesus, we choose faith, and see by faith.
The best way I can witness to this is to say, we all have many times each day or in our life when we see a struggle or challange, problem or temptaion before us.
Instead of looking to these, and seeing only what is seen whith ones eyes, I look not to what is seen, but in faith to Jesus.
(Remember, Peter began to sink into when walking on water to Jesus, when he took his eyes off Jesus.)
Simply because He has shown us that no matter the storm, struggle or problem, it is not looking at the difficulty that we find His help, solution given and peace, but by faith, keeping ones eyes on Him.
this is the faith that brings all needed, and the peace that surpasses all understanding.
For we walk by faith, not by sight, so simply said, stop looking to what is seen with eyes of flesh, and in faith, see with eyes of faith!
For in Jesus Christ is Lord come in the flesh, this is where His spirit resides, and eternal is seen!

God bless

Hi Share55, I just wonder if where you are is where you are supposed to be at this point. When we take our eyes off our troubles, and focus on God, the burdens become easier and at times we can even find joy in the hardest places. in all we do, do it as to the Lord, ask Him for the strength, patience and wisdom in what you do. I have been and in some ways are still there. May the Lord our God bless each day as you give it all to Him.

I think one would have to think very long and hard before answering YES to all of these questions. Remember, that when you ask for something, like strong faith, it is sure to be tested, and can we withstand the test? OR maybe I should ask, what will come with the test? Abraham is the father of faith. Oh yes, it is wonderful to want to have the faith of Abraham, but look what he had to endure? The test of sacrificing his only son was not an easy task. Do we really want to tempt God? I mean if you ask from the faith of Abraham, then be prepared to go through the tests.

Not courage as the strongest war hero, but I would like to have wisdom as Solomon. I have always wanted wisdom from God, and God promised that if you ask for wisdom, he will give it to you. The fear of God is the beginning of wisdom, so asking for wisdom is a good thing. Wisdom gives us discernment of spirit and with wisdom, ask knowledge.

Peace is always a good thing, and every Christian should have peace in this world, the peace of God. When we ask for forgiveness of our sins and truly repent, God gives us a peace in our heart that the world cannot know, nor can the world take away. Those who have not been truly forgiven do not know this peace. Faith and peace work together, as my faith gives peace to me. To be able to have peace through all your trials on earth is truly a blessing. We do not know what God will put in front of us, or what is in store for our lives. We just have to trust Him and have faith in Him to guide our lives, and that will give us the peace we need.

Know my destiny... well yes and no. To know my destiny on this earth? NEVER. Sufficient is the day unto itself, let alone having to know what is in store for us. I do not want to know what is ahead of me, whether it is good or bad. I leave it all to God in faith. But to know our destiny as Christians, I think it is mandatory that all Christians know this. Our destiny as children of God is to live with God in paradise, in Heaven, and have eternal life forever with him. What could be more than that?
