The title may have caught your eye. That was my intention. But the truth is, we were all once liars. I myself was a major liar. I still lie really. But, in my flesh. But I'm not here to talk about me. In the end, I'm nothing without Christ. Now, that's my point.

You see, there are thousands of Christians that claim that they sin no more. Like, even in their flesh, they do not sin, at all. And that's just a lie. If we claim to have not sin, anymore, then why do we need God? Because they last time I checked, Christ came for the sinners, and not the saints. You may probably be thinking that I'm talking rubbish because you were once a sinner who found redemption through Christ, and that it's true that you sin no more. It's not the truth. Why? You see, if we claim to be a born again Christian, who knows the absolute truth, then wouldn't the devil attack us even more so that we can't share this beautiful Gospel of the water and spirit? Because the only way the devil can try to bring us down, is by showing us who we really are; a sinner. I don't know about you, but that's what the Holy Spirit is telling me. The attacks for a believer are much stronger than it ever was before, and that's the truth. But, the Lord God says that no weapons formed against us shall prosper. And that's something that I'm willing to testify, because it has happened so many times to me.

The truth is, in the flesh, we're all sinners. That's our nature. But, what Christ came to do, was bring salvation for that inner man, who was once dead in sin. Our flesh came from dust, it came from this world, it came from sin. And it will do what it's supposed to do, till the day we die. But it's that inner man that's lost, broken, destroyed and is crying out for help. It's that spirit of ours that was made in the likeness of God that needs the help. Not the outer physical man. Christ came to bring His spiritual life, and not His physical life to man.

I could go on, and on, but I think I've proven my point. The outer man, will forever remain a sinner. But the inner man is the one that can remain sinless forever. Cause in the end, it's that inner man that's going to Heaven. Not the outer man. I was also going to talk about how there are some Christians as well that think they will forever remain as sinners. But, I think the above should tell you why that also is not true. We will forever remain sinless, in the spirit and not the flesh because the flesh will always sin.

I may have come off strong, and harsh, but I say this all out of love. Because if you don't hear it now, you may never hear it again. I'm not here to condemn any of you. Because I was exactly the same. But the amazing love and grace of God found me, and opened up my eyes. Now, I see the light because of Him. Not because of something I did. I hope you find it in your heart to forgive me, if I did say something to offend you, or hurt you in any way. But, the truth hurts. And if it doesn't, then there's probably something wrong going on.

God bless you always.

I don't think that the expectation of Christ is that one remain forever a sinner in the flesh. Even if it is the case, it should not be our aim. Being a "sinner in the spirit" is rather serious. It probably involves total apostasy. The aim of the Christian should not just be to avoid apostasy. That is a very negative attitude. It should be to attain perfection in the flesh too.

Tell me this, do you sin no more in the flesh? Because the flesh was made from the dust of this world, which God Himself says isn't perfect. But the spirit that God gave us, which was made in the likeness of Him was in fact made perfectly, but because Adam and Eve's fleshly, and carnal nature was tempted into sinning, that perfect spiritual man lost all perfection, and was dead in sin. Hence, Jesus.

Hi guys. God made the issue of sin easy for us: Sin in a true Christian is a moot point - Christians do not sin, it is the sin that dwells in this human body that sins. What a blessing to be free from sin, his yoke is easy and his burden is light!

Rom 7:16 If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is good.
Rom 7:17 Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.

You can indeed be sinless in the flesh. The problem again is what sin really is!

2000 years AFTER Christ's death and we are STILL debating going to church on sundays, eating pork and being a homosexual.

These things are not a sin to God any longer.

The REAL sin is those 30000 children who die EVERYDAY from simple STARVATION, WHEN WE HAVE ENOUGH!

You may call this a loveless generation!

[SUP]22 [/SUP]Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
[SUP]23 [/SUP]And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.
[SUP]24 [/SUP]Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:
[SUP]25 [/SUP]Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
[SUP]26 [/SUP]For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:

[SUP]27 [/SUP]And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

If you understand what this meant, you'd understand and agree with me.

James 3:13-17

13* Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom. (His wife or woman)

14* But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth.

15* This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish. (the whore whom we have committed fornication with)

16* For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.

17* But the wisdom that is from above (wife and measured faith given to all men by God) is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy (how wisdom woman or wife should behave as outlined in proverbs 8)

The head of EVERY woman (wisdom, earthly and heavenly) is the man (mankind), and the head of EVERY man (mankind) is Christ (Spirit of truth).

Sin is a big thing comprising sins of commission and sins of omission. I tend to think that they are not so prevalent and when I was younger.

The flesh is not the only repository of sin. The mind also rebels against God. It is the mind that must be transformed by the gospel. Sins of the flesh diminish through the renewing of our minds. If this is not happening, there is something wrong. With some sins, it's an instantaneous process. Other sins take much longer to root out.

2 Corinthians 7

King James Version (KJV)

7 Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

Isdaniel, there are no contradictions in the bible. You have presented this verse as though it contradicts what Paul said in Romans, it does not contradict it in any way shape or form. The filthiness of the flesh and spirit that Paul is talking about is not the filth of the Corinthian believers, it is the filth of the people they were trying to hang around with. Paul is telling them not to associate with them. The Corinthians were trying to follow Christianity and paganism at the same time. Paul tells them to stop it and perfect their holiness only in the fear of God. Read it in context below.

2Co 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
2Co 6:15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?
2Co 6:16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
2Co 6:17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,
2Co 6:18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

2Co 7:1 Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

Hmmm, you have a split personality? We are what we are. We are not comprised of two personas.

That's the point here. As long as we're on this earth, and are living in this flesh, we can choose to walk either in the spirit, or in the flesh. But, we're still saved. Don't get me wrong here. Because we still succumb to the temptations of this world, we will still fall back into that flesh that we have died to. We still carry this flesh around. But, it's the spirit that was saved and redeemed, and can have everlasting life. Not the flesh.
