I see here on CC,people that show NOT love, call folks names, accuse the "BRETHERN" falsely, twist scripture, and love the blindness they are in!
Is this a statement of light or darkness

You are obviously upset by someone, best to let it go..... the other option is to revisit/study the topic and accept that salvation is secure in Christ Jesus. :)

Nope ,not upset with anyone!
Not angry but always disappointed to see the children of God rip into and devour one another!
Salvation for the sins of man is secured of Jesus by His death, burial, resurrection, and ascension!
Folks " walk,journey or path " is what's questionable!

You pick which side it falls to, light or darkness!

Stating an observed fact is NOT in darkness.............

IMHO best to view BDF as a discussion board, and nothing more.

BTW I did not state angry, I stated upset.

I wasn't in questioning your faith, which would be ridiculous for anyone to do or question your maturity but rather was interesting in hearing the maturity of your faith on what some might say is a contradiction in the two verses and by submitting a 3:15 [1 Peter 3:15]
To put it simply? It "peeves" me when "stony grounded" believers, remain in this "euphoric" state of saved by grace through faith alone, and then go searching through their Bibles, in their attempts at justifying their decision/s in never leaving. (2 Timothy 2:16) Never going beyond salvation towards "spiritual maturity."
Hebrews 6 (NIV)
Therefore let us move beyond the elementary teachings about Christ and be taken forward to maturity, not laying again the foundation of repentance from acts that lead to death, and of faith in God.

Well I'll be honest. I am rarely angry on this site. I have people on my mind sometimes throughout the day but rarely does it ever make me angry. I've only had one angry retort so far (which is amazing to me really). Used to be, when I was younger, I'd fly off the handle at almost nothing. Usually when I'm angry I walk away or just jump to another thread. Get some food, or express my frustration through prayer. I do understand that anger has different levels and mild frustration is not the same thing as furious. Still even frustration can amp over the edge into anger and that's a danger zone where sin is more likely to occur.

Sometimes I find it helpful to remember that it's not my job to change someone's thinking. I can just put forward what I believe I have learned and leave it up to the Lord. Also that it's really hard to gauge tone when your own emotions are amped up (I have found this to be accurate myself).

I think proper etiquette dictates at least attempting to gauge from another person through a question of some sort that you could be completely mistaken. I think we should all be forthright and if we are angry, state the reason. A lot of differences could be resolved. Impasses are not unworkable and can change in time.

Apologies if that was somewhat off-topic. This thread has been sitting in a tab for 10 hours or so and idk why so I figure I'd post that in general. If you find it useful :D
