just goes to show God knows us better than ourselves. Amazing, Jesus knew Peter would return. He is not unknowing of future things concerning g individuals as some like to claim!
Its a good job God knows and also Jesus.

Alas it seems some people also feel they know as well of us as God and Jesus does and therefore play that role in order to go at people who disagree with them.

When I go to bed tonight I will do as I always do and pray "As I sleep tonight watch over me, when I wake up in the morning I ask you work in me, whatever is wrong in my life help me, I want to be like Jesus and if I get it wrong tell me"

Every day when I get it wrong and I know I have I hold my hands up, say sorry Father please help me.

I seek to keep short account and trust in his help.

Me personally is very sad when I get it wrong but I acknowledge it as painful as it is.

I think God uses our failures to humble us, But only if we are open to see them

Wow he sure does.

And why? Humility is knowing that we need God.
Sadly it took along time for me to realize this, this goes against human nature, that's why it is so hard

I say the Lord's prayer at night, and in the morning, what is called the third step prayer:

God, I offer myself to Thee-
To build with me and to do with me as Thou wilt.
Relieve me of the bondage of self, that I may better do Thy will.

Take away my difficulties, that victory over them may bear witness
to those I would help, of Thy Power, Thy Love, and Thy Way of life.
May I do Thy will always.

The natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. (Me too.)

The word, which only occurs once outside Hebrews, has to be taken in context each time.

To accuse a brother in this way is not acceptable.

In this example it clearly means 'sampled.' So your accusation is false.

Are you sure he was out to deliberately deceive people? Your language is atrocious.

That is questionable. The 'elementary teaching about the Messiah' is all Jewish doctrine, namely:

repentance from dead works, faith in GOD, instruction about washings, the laying on of hands, the resurrection of dead men, and eternal judgment.

He wanted to go on from this, but realised it was impossible for those that had rejected the Messiah,,

such language to a brother in Christ is unforgiveable.

It 'proves' nothing of the sort

That statement is despicable,
I'm gonna give you this one reply, then you're on ignore.

You're so full of crap, er, I mean yourself, that it's running outta yer eyes.

I feel better already, LOL!
I apologize to the readers at CC & valiant for posting this. I regret my actions. I was ticked off when I wrote it, & spouted off in anger. I will try to do better, with God's help, because God & our readers deserve better. Please forgive me.

It's difficult to see when you're surrounded by the enemy. If we're not careful, we will start acting like them.

I purposely pause a minute to re-evaluate my posts now to see if they're spiritually correct, for simply correct just won't do.

I found the shock of realising when one is feeling strong emotions, everything one writes is ok,
because it reflects how one is feeling, but every word shows the emotion, but one does not see it.

A little later when that has passed, one goes, how could I have written that?
Some people learn how to say things that rile others up, and sometimes will just get riled up but then
provoke that response in another. It takes time and interaction to see the triggers and how it is
done. You will see some have it innate in their style, lol.

One can then learn how to just observe and not respond. I think this is what Jesus was talking about
in turning the other cheek. We are not interested in respect, provocation, grand standing, but actually
being real and just helping each other walk rightly.

The world is so wrapped up in, I beat them, I showed them, I won, you lost.
We are wrapped up in, did I show the Lords love and did I leave a sense of grace behind.
I know I fail to do this many times, and we get better through practise, but listening to the apostles
it was their life.

We work hard with our own hands. When we are cursed, we bless; when we are persecuted, we endure it; when we are slandered, we answer kindly. We have become the scum of the earth, the garbage of the world—right up to this moment.
1 Cor 4:12-13

Quite an example to follow :) I know I still have much to learn in this regard.
God bless you and I appreciate your contributions, Amen.

So Valiant, who is a brother in Christ, is your "enemy"?

It's one thing to disagree with our brothers and sisters in Christ, post something in anger which we later regret, and then apologize.

It’s quite another to consider a brother/sister in Christ as an "enemy".

So, tell me..... Did CC give you the authority to put words in my mouth, or did you take that authority upon yourself?

Are you trying to dig up something to fight about?

How long are yo going to continue with this charade of yours?

When "brethren' exhibit this type of behavior - Paul tells us exactly what to do - mark them and avoid them as no good comes from interacting with them as we have seen here in CC.

Romans 16:17 (KJV)
[SUP]17 [/SUP] Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.

Unfortunately this leads to this condition:

Hebrews 12:15 (NASB)
[SUP]15 [/SUP] See to it that no one comes short of the grace of God; that no root of bitterness springing up causes trouble, and by it many be defiled;

Stephen63, who were you speaking about when you wrote:

"It's difficult to see when you're surrounded by the enemy. If we're not careful, we will start acting like them."

You apologized to "readers at CC & valiant" for posting something out of anger.

followjesus offered consolation and you replied with "It's difficult to see when you're surrounded by the enemy. If we're not careful, we will start acting like them."

Apologies to you if you were not speaking of Valiant.

Who are the posters on CC who you refer to as the "enemy" in your post #911?

The strategy is to create division, to provoke and then claim one is spreading unity
but the other side is provoking split and judgmentalism.

This kind of strategy works but is very destructive of good honest people who in
their sincerity do not see the deceptive tactics taken by angels of light who actually
have a strategy of control and conquering against those they see as the enemy.

And the reason for this antagonism will be invented labels. Unfortunately once established
these types of people destroy the very thing they claim to be supporting. It becomes
embedded in society so the only opposition who actually succeed are those with loving
hearts that rise above the fight for dominance.

It runs Islamic societies, and seeps in as innocents who are being picked on, when it is they
who provoke the response.

Wherever people like this go, antagonism follows because that is there way of operating.
And these strategies will always prosper until you start to be able to see them and expose
what is going on. So we are to be as innocent as doves but as wise as snakes.

For our enemy would always desire to destroy any witness to our Lord.

So be strong and hold on to the love that binds us in Christ, and He will always deliver us
to His glory, Amen.

when 2 groups are apposed to each other.. There will be disunity.. It is not that people are trying to sew disunity, it is just thay are divided by nature.

There are two gospels being taught here, One of faith alone in the work of Christ, Who finishes what he started, And one who claims to have faith in Christ, but salvation is dependent on what they do from this moment forward (it can be lost)

Thus, by defenition, there is disunity. To say the other side is just trying to cause disunity is not only untrue, but is very deceptive.

The lows people will go to again to prove to themselves they are right.

And how is your behavior any different than what Grace777x70 posted?
