It's difficult to see when you're surrounded by the enemy. If we're not careful, we will start acting like them.
I purposely pause a minute to re-evaluate my posts now to see if they're spiritually correct, for simply correct just won't do.
I found the shock of realising when one is feeling strong emotions, everything one writes is ok,
because it reflects how one is feeling, but every word shows the emotion, but one does not see it.
A little later when that has passed, one goes, how could I have written that?
Some people learn how to say things that rile others up, and sometimes will just get riled up but then
provoke that response in another. It takes time and interaction to see the triggers and how it is
done. You will see some have it innate in their style, lol.
One can then learn how to just observe and not respond. I think this is what Jesus was talking about
in turning the other cheek. We are not interested in respect, provocation, grand standing, but actually
being real and just helping each other walk rightly.
The world is so wrapped up in, I beat them, I showed them, I won, you lost.
We are wrapped up in, did I show the Lords love and did I leave a sense of grace behind.
I know I fail to do this many times, and we get better through practise, but listening to the apostles
it was their life.
We work hard with our own hands. When we are cursed, we bless; when we are persecuted, we endure it; when we are slandered, we answer kindly. We have become the scum of the earth, the garbage of the world—right up to this moment.
1 Cor 4:12-13
Quite an example to follow
I know I still have much to learn in this regard.
God bless you and I appreciate your contributions, Amen.
