How did the Psalms writer have this kind of seemingly impossible level of faith?

we will not fear, though the earth give way
and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, (Psalms 46:2)

what if we are on the mountain that happens to fall into the heart of the sea

that can be as scary as having a millstone hung around the neck and be drowned into the depths of the sea (Matthew 18:6)

how is it possible for faith to overcome the fear that seems to be capable of drowning out faith?

The bible says we only need a teeny tiny mustard seed-sized faith. A mustard seed is about the size of a grain of sand..

Fear disappears as we walk by faith in Jesus day by day. As we listen to his Holy Spirit in us, we learn how to love others as he does.

When Jesus walked this earth as a man, he loved people who hated him and wanted him dead, but the mocking and abuse he suffered at their hands could not stop his love.

He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; he burneth the chariot in the fire. Psa.46:9

There is no weapon that can conquer our faith in Jesus.

I recommend you watch the movie Hacksaw Ridge.

Wanna talk about having super-sized faith?

Being a true story is what makes it seem fake....I am sure it is Hollywooded up a little but, the essence is there.
