Adam wanted to sin but God controlled his steps.
“A person plans his course, but the LORD directs his steps.” Proverbs 16:9 (NET)
God designed a la . It did not control Adam steps he died in the twinkling of the eye .

Yes he does not direct the steps of the wicked they stumble over their own design as a law unto their own self, walking in darkness.

I know where people are coming from before reading their posts.
I disagree. Why ask a question you have no intention to read the answer to? I’m done. Good luck.

Do you always follow directions exactly? Obviously Adam did not.

Again, Paul is a servant. Get a copy of God’s word.
“PAUL, a servant of God, and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God’s elect, and the acknowledging of the truth which is after godliness;” Titus 1:1 (KJV 1900)

“This letter is from Paul, a slave of God and an apostle of Jesus Christ. I have been sent to proclaim faith to those God has chosen and to teach them to know the truth that shows them how to live godly lives.” Titus 1:1 (NLT)

It remains, if God is good he could have stopped him from sinning being all-powerful. But instead, he led Adam into temptation knowing he would sin. Yet we know God is both good and all-powerful having done so.

You are either Arminian, Calvinist, or Socinian. That divides down into Amillennial, Millennial, Pre-millennial, or Dispensational. Or fringe.

Interesting enough, I am just a seeker of truth. So much so I just looked up all of these terms to familiarize myself with them. I probably spent half an hour to see if any of these labels were accurate for me. In conclusion I will say it must be a joke. Good one. Now me. You are either a man or a woman or somewhere in between. Your view is that you are right or at least part, or right enough not to care what others think.

As you learn about these groups, you will recognize the ones that think like you. I can see them by your views on different things and know where you're headed. A simple test will reveal all.

Throw away the NLT and stick with the KJV.

No one group encapsulates my views. I assume that’s the same as you. Just because while reading the same text, I drew the same conclusions on some issues doesn’t make me a Calvinist. All I can agree on with all of those groups is that I’m protestant. I have sought other religions, ancient writings, other denominations and then read the Bible cover to cover without presupposition. Often I broke down verse by verse using Strongs words translator. I fasted and prayed and meditated for countless hours while allowing the Holy Spirit to fill my mind. “Hungry” is the name I chose because it best defines the insatiable desire for truth and knowledge. The Bible is so simple to understand. People complicate it with their exaggerated explanations in an effort to sound more intelligent. It wasn’t written for scholars. It was written for seekers.

So that leaves what you are, which is? Let us know so we can lookup these beliefs and decide for ourselves. I bet you won't.

Clark was a Calvinist so why add that? Though no Calvinist here ever said God killed His Son.

I agree with the historic creeds of the church. You do not agree with historic Christianity in places you disagree with me. Most only go back a hundred years or so and are considered heretics by the early church.

I bet they do. There's nothing new under the sun.

Jeremiah and Hebrews say the New Covenant replaced the old.

Neither of those references say that letter of the law death was no longer needed to convict the heart of men as to their need of a savior.

The old covenant that was set up when leaving Egypt. They failed as a nation to keep it . So then he gave it over to the whole world all the nations as a kingdom of priest . Satan could no longer deceive all nations according the flesh of one nation in that way ever again. He fell from that previous place.

It was not covenant of the law the letter death. It will be cast into the judgement fire along with the hell the consequence of violating it. Not one Jot or tittle will be removed under the sun .It is the last thing destroyed the second death .
