But the same bibliographical source that you’re citing is showing that pānîm/G6440 is also used as a preposition of time, making full sense when quoting the sentence in full form:

Peter too, in citing Joel, put it this way:

It’s about a literal day here, not a course of 1260 days. Rev 6:12-17 describes one single event or a multifaceted-event happening happening in one day.

There is no question it is speaking about ONE DAY which STARTS the Wrath of God, that day which starts God's Wrath of course has to begin on ONE DAY, but it is not just one day, we can look at the events that must happen, just in Joel chapter and everywhere else the Day of the Lord is spoken about and see many events that have to come to pass. To be honest, the Day of the Lord lasts 1003 and 1/2 years. God starts taking the earth kingdom away from Satan, who tricked Adam & Eve out of their Dominion with a lie (Thou shalt not surely die). Thus God starts taking the kingdom back in the middle of the week via His Wrath. Then Jesus' (Day of the Lord) reign lasts a 1000 year, so in essence, Satan had 6 days (6000 years) to reign, then God gives the earth/mankind Rest for 1000 years (7th day).

All we ha e to do is look at the 2nd Woe tat lasts 5 months, thereby we know its not ONE DAY, but it is referencing the ONE DAY when Gods Wrath begins, thus on ONE DAY God starts getting His vengeance on mankind, on ONE DAY it starting raining, but the flood last much longer than one day.

The DAY of the Lord just signifies that on tis CERTAIN DAY, God starts taking the earths Dominion away from Satan by Judging mankind in a series of events that last 3.5 years.

The word used there can mean before or in the presence, the Hebrew had only 4000 words and thus multiple meanings, in this case, the Wrath can't come BEFORE the rath starts if you catch my drift, this we know it means al of these events come in the PRESENCE (Face) of God's Wrath. The same thing happens with the word YOWM in Gen. 1, yes it can be a day, but it can also be a month, year, a season, a TIME PERIOD etc. etc. or about 50 things, thus it is ad will be mostly a Day, but we as men have o understand its a word used for TIME PERIODS and we must fill in the blank via he CONTEXT, thus the first YOWM (day) lasts 9.2 billion years from 13.7 billion yeas BC to the Earth was formed 4.5 BC Million years ago. The 6th day lasted about 300-350 million years and ended when God imparted his Spirit into Adam. All "MEN LIKE Animals" before Adam were thus not human beings, so all of their "discovered bones" cant tell them when God decided to place His spirit in us to create Human Beings in God's Image, thus like fools they are confused says God.
