Nice try.......same modus operandi from before......oh make no mistake....we know you........and what you peddle does not meet the criteria for biblical standards..........especially saying things like the following.....WHY NOT PULL UP A DIRECT QUOTE AND PROVE SOME HAVE SAID THE FOLLOWING
but there are some who believe we should stay as we are compromised and defeated and this is what Jesus expected.
Many do hold they are saved and can stay as they are before God. Stating this is reflecting a easy believism
position
I am sorry my friend, I have no desire to go on a proof exercise like this.
What I do is notice certain expression of faith and intentions and then realise this is there attitude.
Let me work this through for you. No repentance, no confession of sin, no walking like Jesus on earth,
no righteous walking, sinning daily without change or progress. What does this add up to?
Thought christians are christians who think faith but have no fruit of it.
And how do we become believers, with eternal life, we believe Jesus, no works, no demonstration.
Paul is quite simple about repentance
"I preached that they should repent and turn to God and prove their repentance by their deeds." Act 26:20
I have quoted what repentance means in the biblical sense from a Mosaic perspective.
We are then called by Paul to aim at perfection.
Join with me in suffering for the gospel, by the power of God,
who has saved us and called us to a holy life--not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace.
2 Tim 8-9
For God did not call us to be impure, but to live a holy life.
1 Thessalonians 4:7
Just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do
for it is written: "Be holy, because I am holy."
1 Peter 1:15-16
Be imitators of God, therefore, as dearly loved children
and live a life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.
But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God's holy people.
Nor should there be obscenity, foolish talk or coarse joking, which are out of place, but rather thanksgiving.
For of this you can be sure: No immoral, impure or greedy person--such a man is an idolater--has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.
Ephesians 5:1-5
Now obviously the above is not responded to by many with Amen.
And that for me says it all.
God bless you
