Wow! What a hot day it was today delivering mail! The air quality was also really poor. I had to take a break at one time because I began to get light headed. Other carriers came back complaining about getting dizzy and feeling nauseous. Look at the temperature in my car when I left work today. :eek:

i haven't posted here in a long time! bad melita! lol

anywho, i recorded myself singing last sunday at practice. it's interesting i now sing this song at my new fellowship because i would also sing it at my home church. the only difference is the language lol.

Please stay well hydrated, Dan. Did you hear about the lady mail carrier in cali who died a few days ago in her truck? It got up to 117 where she was. And she was very close to retirement :(

:eek: Dear soul! Please stay hydrated. I bought a giant bag cooler from Walmart. Best near $5.00 I ever spent. Filled it with Honest Tea, Power-Aid, and about half ice. Then I put hand towels in so they'd soak up the water. That's the only thing that got me through being on the road yesterday. And I drive a vehicle that doesn't have AC.

I'd suggest you do something similar. Trust me, an a wet hand towel with ice wrapped in and at the back of your neck at the same time you're downing a Power-Aid is a God send. It makes all the difference in the world.
Stay safe. Holding you and all mail carriers and shipper company drivers in prayer. I saw a UPS guy the other day. What can brown do for you?

My mom gave me a Bible carrying case that I was wanting, she waited a month and surprised me with it, genuine leather.
