Okay, Im not good at this, but I recalled I had something from a few years back I started I just never picked it up again.
I started playing around, but I need to pick stuff up and put it down if theres too much stuff to separate. I suppose I could see some stuff comparing things, but others I was like nah... Sorta felt more like hitting and missing, for me I just didnt have the skill to hook it up right, its just not where my thing is.
I'll still put it out here on this thread just to see if I was heading in the right direction with it or not because they sound similar. Some parts I was like... well... you could probably pull that off that comparison (but I sorta hate those kinds because thats putting something out there without being too convinced by it).
Anyway I pulled this one out only because it mentions meat offering (not the new) but the salt. But I really want to catch how to see the salt in these things better. I wanted to see if it works, or not, or maybe someone can tweek it to get it to work better something, well, InSpiritInTruth to help here.
I was looking at that meat and salt stuff here, do these go?
Lev 2:13 And every oblation of thy meat offering shalt thou season with salt;
neither shalt thou suffer the salt of the covenant of thy God to be lacking from thy meat offering:
with all thine offerings thou shalt offer salt.
Whereas Jesus says here...
Mark 9:49 For every one shall be salted with fire,
and every sacrifice shall be salted with salt.
We offer our bodies as living sacrifices...
and we are salted with fire
Theres the covenant of salt in 2Ch 14:5
Luke 13:34 Salt is good:
but if the salt have lost his savour,
wherewith shall it be seasoned?
His savour,
Mat 5:13 Ye are the salt of the earth:
but if the salt have lost his savour,
wherewith shall it be salted?
it is thenceforth good for nothing,
but to be cast out,
and to be trodden under foot of men.
Col 4:6 Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt
2Cr 2:14 Now thanks be unto God,
which always causeth us to triumph in Christ,
and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.
2Cr 2:15 For we are unto God a sweet savour of Christ,
in them that are saved, and in them that perish:
Ephes 5:2 To the one we are the savour of death unto death;
and to the other the savour of life unto life.
And who is sufficient for these things?
Ephes 5:2 And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us,
and hath given himself for us
an offering nd a sacrifice to God
for a sweet smelling savour.
1) a sweet smell, fragrance
2) a fragrant or sweet smelling thing incense, odour or something sweet smellinga) an odour of acquiescence, satisfactionb) a sweet odour, spoken of the smell of sacrifices and obligations, agreeably to the ancient notion that God smells and is pleased with the odour of sacrifices
3) metaph. a thing well pleasing to God
Which is found here...
Heb 13:6 But to do good and to communicate forget not:
for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.
Same as with incense, pure offering, and spiritual sacrifices
Mal 1:11 For from the rising of the sun even unto the going down of the same
my name shall be great among the Gentiles;
and in every place incense shall be offered unto my name,
and a pure offering: for my name shall be great among the heathen, saith the LORD of hosts
Prayer set before him as incense (House of prayer)
Psalms 141:2 Let my prayer
be set forth before thee as incense
Pure offering (by Him)
Heb 13:15 By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually,
that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.
Sacrifices acceptable by Jesus Christ (our living stone)
1Peter 2:5 Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
Thats all I got on this one though
If I am not catching it correctly or comparing wrongly just show me where so I can correct it if you can.
Thanks for any help
God bless you
