Non imputation of sin is a Gospel Doctrine 2 Cor 5:19

I have gone over the Greek word katallassó with you in the past, brightfame52:

The word "reconciling" is translated from the Greek word katallássō which means decisively change, as when two parties reconcile when coming ("changing") to the same position.

Reconciliation on the part of God to mankind took place before the foundation of the world.

Reconciliation on the part of man to God takes place at the time a person turns to God in faith ... at that point the "non imputation of sin" occurs.

Those who reject God even as He reaches out to them are not reconciled to God ... not because God has not made provision for them, but because they reject that which God has provided for them to be reconciled to God.

Non imputation of sin is Justification and reconciliation, and these apply to all for whom Christ died, since their sins have been imputed to Him, and His Righteousness in exchange has been imputed to them, you dont believe this, you are yet in unbelief, to this very minute.

You continue to deny that people for whom Christ died, are by His death Justified, so that's not faith in His blood, but unbelief. Christs resurrection is evidence that the ones He died for are not in their sins, but Justified. Rom 4:25

25 Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification

You deny the very scripture you quoted, dont even believe it !

But believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly

Rom 4:5

But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth [declare righteous] the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.

This is one of the most abused and misunderstood scriptures in Romans 4, for what its saying is mostly denied by mans religion. The Truth here being stated is that God has justified men/women while being ungodly, thats why its followed by Vs 6

Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works,

This means before the person could believe, repent or do any obedience, they were Justified while being ungodly. Its the same truth but stated differently as Rom 5:10

10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.

That is, when believers were still enemies, hating God, they were reconciled [put into a right relationship] to God ! How ? By the death of His Son.

So both are true and the same. So if we dont believe this, we dont have God given Faith and are yet in unbelief. Only God given Faith will receive that people were Justified before God by Christ's death while they were being enemies/ungodly !

Justified by God by non imputation!

What do I mean? Those whom nothing can be laid to their charge, namely Gods Elect, of them it's said, it is God that Justified Rom 8:33

Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth.


So the non imputation of sins charged equates to God Justifying. The World in 2 Cor 5:19, is a Justified world! 23

The verse is abused most by those who claim that faith on the part of the believer is "works".

The verse is misunderstood by those who claim that a person is justified when he or she is "ungodly".

Romans 4:

2 For if Abraham were justified by works, he hath whereof to glory; but not before God.

3 For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness.

4 Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt.

5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.

Romans 4 clearly states that faith is not works. Additionally, the moment a person believes, that person is no longer ungodly because God imputes righteousness to the person at the very moment the ungodly person believes. If they are righteous, they are no longer ungodly.

3 When I kept silence, my bones waxed old through my roaring all the day long.

According to verses 3-4 ... when David "kept silence" (did not acknowledge his sin before God), his sin bothered him to the core of his being. However, read verse 5:


5 I acknowledged my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the LORD; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah.

6 For this shall every one that is godly pray unto thee in a time when thou mayest be found: surely in the floods of great waters they shall not come nigh unto him.

7 Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah.

When David acknowledged his sin and confessed to God, then his sin was forgiven ... then David considered God his hiding place where David was preserved from trouble.

And if you really do not understand what it is that David is saying, check out Psalm 32:10

Psalm 32:10 Many sorrows shall be to the wicked: but he that trusteth in the LORD, mercy shall compass him about.

But since Christ has risen, God given faith isnt vain, because we are not in our sins. Faith is given to people who Christ died for and Justified them before God.

Only people whom Christ died for, and Justified from sin, shall be given faith to believe.

Again, that God worked out the redemption of mankind in eternity past does not negate the fact that faith on the part of mankind (whosoever believeth) is the means through which God imputes righteousness:
