Let's make a name for it,

Revology. Basing ones theology on Revelation.

Unless.....They already have a name for it?
it is called biblical prophesy, No one just used revelation, They take the whole cannon of scripture together,

I think trofimus is doing what he always does, and making a strawman,, I hope you do not fall for it.

An end to this world system has been promised other places in Scripture...

“What shall be the sign of thy coming, and of
the end of the world?”
(Matthew 24:3, KJV).

Jesus gave a slew of signs before saying,
And then the end shall come.

Among others, also 2 Peter 3:13~

But according to his promise we are waiting for new
heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.

This is a general scheme, but all the details people are trying to get from Revelation...

Zech 14: 17 - And it shall be that whichever of the families of the earth do not come up to Jerusalem to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, on them there will be no rain.

Can you tell me why people are getting punished in heaven?
Because they are not in heaven. They are on planet earth.

Zech 14 is about the dest of Jerusalem in 70 ad, and the coming of the kingdom of the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Zech 14:5 shows the "people fleeing" for the mountains. Lk 21:24.

Jesus dividing the Mt. of O. v 4, is Jesus providing salvation in the kingdom. That is, if you believed the prophecies of Jesus, you would flee.

Zech 14:8, Is about the Holy Spirit flowing (living waters), to the seas of the gentile nations.

Zech 14:12-21, Is showing the blessings and curses of rejecting the Pentecost kingdom.

Zech 14:18, The rain is God's blessings, And the plague is the curse.

But we are come .......to the Heavenly Jerusalem Heb 12:22, the heavenly Mt Sion.

Heb 9:1, "Then verily the first covenant had also ordinances of divine service, and a worldly sanctuary."

Will we have "church services" when Jesus comes? In buildings, with rituals? In a worldly sanctuary?

Your right, they are on earth, But it is future, not past. No nation has been punished because they did not go to Jerusalem to worship the king.

Discussing scriptures is Joy.

We should be serious,

But have some fun, and share the joy.

Don't worry too much if we don't get things at first.

The understanding is God's part, the Holy Spirit's part, to give us the understanding.

We do our part to discuss the scriptures, He will do His part to give us the understanding.

This all happened, and is still happening today.

If you are not in the Pentecost kingdom, the curses (withdrawing of God's blessings) apply to you.

If you are in the Pentecost kingdom, the blessing apply to you, (rain).

They are not literal, they are in a passage that has much symbolism.

Such as living waters flowing to the sea of the gentiles.

Again, we do not come to an earthly Jerusalem, but a heavenly one, established on Pentecost.

The symbols relate to the spiritual Jerusalem in the church, not the earthly one.

Its probably only a coincidence that Christian nations are most developed of all, with the highest life expectancy, the best healh care, life quality, education, economy power, low criminality and even without many natural disasters.

slandering others and saying they just take revelation out of context is not studying scriptures. Thats why I have certain people on ignore..

Hello Carl11,

Just FYI, this present heaven and earth do not pass away until after the thousand year reign of Christ. See Rev.20:11 and Rev.21 which takes place after the millennial period. Otherwise, how could the following promise be fulfilled?

"To the one who is victorious and does my will to the end, I will give authority over the nations—that one ‘will rule them with an iron scepter and will dash them to pieces like pottery’ —just as I have received authority from my Father.

How could a believer who is victorious, have authority over the nations upon the new heaven and new earth, when at that time everyone will be in their immortal and glorified bodies? Having authority over the nations is speaking about those who will have been resurrected and will be in their immortal and glorified bodies ruling over the nations with Christ during the millennial period.

* Gathering of the church

* The wrath of God via the seals, trumpets and bowl judgments during the last seven years

* The Lord's return to the earth to end the age

* Millennial kingdom

* End of the millennial kingdom

* Great white throne judgment

* New heaven, new earth, new Jerusalem, eternity ................................................
There is no millinieal reign it is all based off a falty interpretation of Rev. 20

Then we will be like Him. But what does that mean?

Will He be as Moses saw Him on the Mount? Or just an ordinary dude?

Will we see His face in Glory and then return to the material planet earth?
We will see him in his full glory as far as be like him that is subject to much interpretation but it could be in as far as sinless, but I do not know.

As long as there is flesh, there will be sin.

There was sin and temptation in the garden, we won't go back to Eden.
We will not be in the flesh, we will have a spiritual body a perfect body without sin.

Which earth is that?

Planet earth? It will be destroyed by fire.
The earth that I’m refering to is a new earth, not as we know this present day earth

Carl11...your do not get to read your Bible much do you? There are over 1800 references about the Millennium in the OT and there are over 300 references about the Millennium in the NT. If you are trying to say that because Revelation is classified as an apocalyptic Book by Some People, who had rather it go away, then you have lost touch with the only thing (the Bible...GOD'S WORDs) that can give you the answers.

Blessing to you and yours

Hi Carl,

It's impossible to misinterpret Rev.20:1-7. Your claim of the literal thousand year reign of Christ as a faulty interpretation, is just another desperate apologetic regarding this subject. It's only a faulty interpretation because it destroys your belief of the false teachings that are out there and that you adopted. However, the words "thousand years" is consistent being listed six times within Rev.20:1 thru 7.

1). He seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil, or Satan, and bound him for a thousand years.

2). He threw him into the Abyss, and locked and sealed it over him, to keep him from deceiving the nations anymore until the thousand years were ended.

3). They (great tribulation saints) came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

4). The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended.

5). The second death has no power over them, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with him for a thousand years.

6). When the thousand years are over, Satan will be released from his prison and will go out to deceive the nations in the four corners of the earth—Gog and Magog—and to gather them for battle.

Nope, not a faulty interpretation. God's word means what it says. And it is very straight forward if I might add.

There are over 1800 references about the Millennium in the OT and there are over 300 references about the Millennium in the NT.
The word thousand is used approx. 400 times in the old and new testament . But references about the phrase "Millennium" vary from one camp to another.

The Millennium is signified in the last chapter of the Bible or book of Revelation.

Rev 1:1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John:

Shew...... to give evidence or proof of a thing not seen

Signified...To signify means to "mean." ... When objects are endowed with symbolic meaning, they are said to signify things. A dove signifies peace, a six-pointed star signifies Judaism, a frog signifies fertility, a key signifies the power of the gospel to loose and bind, a chain signifies the authority of the gospel to bind. a bottomless pit signifies the keeping power of the gospel . a thousand years signifies the last days beginning with the words it is finished, souls of the beheaded signifies those who have communion with God but have not received the promise their new in corruptible bodies. a hand signifies the unseen will. a dragon or serpent signifies the father of lies , thrones signifies a unseen authority, a seal signifies the shutting up.

And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.
And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season. And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years. And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,Rev 20:1-7

Without parables Christ spoke not . Hiding the signified meaning from those who seek after signs of observation. And not signs as as wonders ... the faith principle.
