The context is the kingdom of heaven, the literal, physical kingdom promised to Israel when the Lord returns as king of Kings.

Yo are totally ignoring the context, they killed his son and were cast out in the war of 66-70AD

Heb 6:8 But that which beareth thorns and briers is rejected, and is nigh unto cursing; whose end is to be burned.

I guess you assume that "whose end is to be burned" means they are going to hell?
4 For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,
5 And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come,
6 If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.

Don't you think that happens to other people outside the Hebrew race? I've known Christians who were on fire for God and they fell away, it's a dangerous thing. God lets you go so far and then he's done with you. The same thing happened to Solomon, do you think Solomon's in hell?

These are people who were saved, sinned, fell away and have no more forgiveness of sins. It’s impossible for them to repent.

Do you not recall the prodigal son parable? The fire may brun out but remember it only takes a spark to make the fire burn and it is my firm belief that nothing is impossible with God.

I wouldn't say he lets you go so far and then is done with you, the fire starts when we are saved but many forget that going on that fire and passion can be good and can be intense but if you don't fan that flame it will burn out.

Well, Scripture states it is impossible to renew them again to repentance.

Not repenting of sin is not losing your salvation.
Why is it impossible for them to repent again? As part of the body of Christ, can we not repent every time we sin?

Where does it state this?
Hebrews 6
4 For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,
5 And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come,
6 If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.

Because repentance comes from God and they have made themselves far from God.

Yes but you also have to take into account what the bible says elsewhere as well such as the parable of the farmer
“A farmer went out to sow his seed. 4 As he was scattering the seed, some fell along the path, and the birds came and ate it up. 5 Some fell on rocky places, where it did not have much soil. It sprang up quickly, because the soil was shallow. 6 But when the sun came up, the plants were scorched, and they withered because they had no root. 7 Other seed fell among thorns, which grew up and choked the plants. 8 Still other seed fell on good soil, where it produced a crop—a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown. 9 Whoever has ears, let them hear.
This is where salvation and it's methods come into play.

You have heard it said that some people are not truly saved correct? The seed of the holy spirit can only grow depending on the soil it is planted, if we ask for him he will give himself to us however if our hearts are not truly prepared for him then it is exactly like this parable.

I am living proof of this parable in fact, for a good while I wanted him and went to church with my cousin and searched for him and I had a sort of fire for him yet it felt fake somehow I lacked a connection inside the seed was planted but my heart was not yet prepared to receive it.

For it to be impossible to teturn salvation even after tasting him it would have to be while we are not alive because as long as we are alive he is very clear how how relentless he is in chasing after us. It is easy at first to chase after him with fire but if the seed is not in good soil we lose interest.

Salvation is not based on our own efforts or our sins it is based on him and the spirit that lives in us the blood of Christ that was shed and the covenant that was made in that contract. So let me ask you is our salvation based on our own efforts and ability to not sin or is it like with everything else in life a matter of the heart?

Acts 2:17
Hebrews 1:2

The apostles called their own time the "last days"...
Yes and as the days ticked down John said it was the last hour:

(1 John 2:18 Little youths, it is the last hour; and even as ye heard that the antichrist doth come, even now antichrists have become many -- whence we know that it is the last hour.)

What are we in now the last nanoseconds?

You yutes.

I believe the thread title question is moot. Why? Well, because you cannot simply use Revelation 14:9 to answer the question. All relevant scripture must be considered.

I believe "the mark alone" is highly improbable at best.

If you are going to play games with the word 'and' - does that mean that - in Revelation 13:16 - those who were killed (verse 15) also received the mark?

My friend (@KJV1611) - you are not properly understanding the 'grammar of the language' - which does not allow for "the mark alone"...
What makes ”and” different in those verses?
Maybe you missed this but I was hoping you could give an answer to this.

Acts 2:17
Hebrews 1:2

This is actually prophecy concerning the last days. It proves my point. It could have the last days ushered in if the Jews would have received the preaching about Christ, their Messiah. But they didn’t, so the last days are yet to be....after the fullness of the Gentiles are come in.

Acts 2
16 But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel;
17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:

I don't understand where you're getting "It could have been the last days ushered in if the Jews would have received the preaching about Christ, their Messiah."

Where is that found in the bible?

The last days refers to the point in time right before the second coming of Christ when He sets up His earthly kingdom in Jerusalem to reign 1,000 years. If the Jews would have received their Messiah, the last days would have been declared, the fulfillment of Daniel’s 70th week, and the millennium kingdom ushered in.

The fulfillment of Matthew 24 did not occur. That generation is yet future.

Isaiah 2
1 The word that Isaiah the son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem.
2 And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the Lord's house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.
3 And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.
4 And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.

Micah 4
1 But in the last days it shall come to pass, that the mountain of the house of the Lord shall be established in the top of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills; and people shall flow unto it.
2 And many nations shall come, and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for the law shall go forth of Zion, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.
3 And he shall judge among many people, and rebuke strong nations afar off; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up a sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.
