First off, I ain't yo boy, and second off... we'll see in the end who understands what.
The Lord is my judge, so your opinion is ignored.

You are a glass half empty person who is still living after the flesh not recognizing that Jesus Christ PAID for us to be righteous... Did you get that???? He went to the Cross and PAID for our sin so we could be in right standing with the Father.

If you don't get that, then you are ignorant of what God's Word teaches.]

Ephesians 2:8-9English Standard Version (ESV)

8 For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, 9 not a result of works, so that no one may boast.

thanks be to God for my own sicknesses, which cause me to depend on Him more!
thank Him who put trust in my heart, and who builds it also with dependence!

whether it is chastening, by which i know He loves me, or it is a tutor to effectively build humility in my character, praise God under whose eye all things come to pass!

Yes, it's true that I have been saved by grace thru faith... and verbally saying that is so, is boasting???

That's hilarious! Agreeing with what God says about me is not boasting... no, it's setting myself in agreement with Him because He is right and to be in opposition to what He says is wrong.

I venture to say that the greatest earthly blessing that God can give to any of us is health, with the exception of sickness. Sickness has frequently been of more use to the saints of God than health has. - Charles Spurgeon
First off, that's no scriptural... God sent His written Wiord and the Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ to teach His people, not sickness.

But, if you really believe this... then you should go see if you can get some samples of malaria or the flu or something so you can ingest them, get sick, and be blessed by "god" who would be the god of this world that comes to kill, steal, and destroy (John 10:10)

It's sad that some believe sickness is a good thing... if that's true than go get sick and DO NOT go to the doctor if you think it's God's will for you to be sick because they would be rebellion against the will of God... if in fact you believe sickness is good and useful.

Here's what you should be paying attention to... what God said Jesus did for you...

Matthew 8:17

That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.

Isaiah 53:4, 5
Jesus has carried our grief (pain, anxiety, calamity, disease, sickness), and carried our sorrows (anguish, affliction, feelings of pain, sadness and sorrow): yet we did esteem Him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted....but He was wounded (to wound, to break, be slain or killed) for our transgressions, He was bruised (crush, destroy, oppress, to collapse) for our iniquities: the punishment (violence, rebuke) of our peace was upon Him; and with His stripes we are healed. (He took our wounds, so we could take his wholeness & health in every area of life)

thanks be to God for my own sicknesses, which cause me to depend on Him more!
thank Him who put trust in my heart, and who builds it also with dependence!

whether it is chastening, by which i know He loves me, or it is a tutor to effectively build humility in my character, praise God under whose eye all things come to pass!

Sounds like you could really be blessed with some AIDs, or maybe some Herpes... if being sick is such a blessing, why not go out and get some serious disease like maybe some cancer???

Nothing like being blessed with sickness and disease from satan... er, I mean from whatever god it is you are referring to... which is obviously NOT the God of the Bible.

Now, you've stepped on my toes.

You don't understand the meaning of this. In the eyes of the enemy, if one is filled with Holy Spirit..which Benny Hinn is, and is moving in the power of Holy Spirit, which he does...he is like "god". To men that are evil, to men looking for God, and to the devils themselves.

Be careful what you all are judging. Judgement tends to come back...

Yeah, well good luck with following Benny and Kenny... both of these guys have taught numerous things that are totally false.

Like the time Benny Hinn declared he heard from "god" that "god" was going to kill all the gay people... Benny Hinn LIED because if God was going to start killing people for their sin all of us would have been whacked a long time ago.

Kenneth Copeland recently said he heard from "god" that Ted Cruz was anointed to be the next President... Kenneth Copeland LIED cause he did not hear from the true God so Copeland is a false prophet.

Is it not high time to go by what God's Word says and be led by the Lord rather than following men???

This is true for folks in the ditch on both sides....

No, claiming sickness is a blessing is messed up!

I'm just trying to help a brutha out... if they think sickness is actually a blessing then why should that person go out and try to get sick?

Here's an idea... why not just walk with the Lord and not turn away from Him in the first place!

Pretty good idea, eh???

I'm not a follower of the "WOF movement"... I simply go by God's Word and it does not teach that sickness is a blessing.

because we are not JESUS CHRIST... not one is without sin, and you will constantly till the day you die either mess up and miss it or find new areas in your heart where you did not know you were sinful. hence the posses of sanctification. we go through things to point us to God, and see Him in a deeper way... you are not in the perfect will of God 100% of an hour let alone your life.

i'm now thinking of all the prayer that has gone to the Lord through the centuries on behalf of the sick ♥
how that prayer effected those who were ill and those who prayed...
but chiefly three things:

thank you
i wish i had that picture for the wall!
why is the child bathed in light while the mom does needlework in relative darkness?? lol

eh, pragmatism dies hard ;)

Who said anything about being absolutely perfect??? Not I...

I'm simply saying those that have a little common sense quickly figure out that the best course of action is to REMAIN IN THEIR RELATIONSHIP WITH THE FATHER THRU JESUS CHRIST....

WHY would anyone want to turn away from the Lord to the point that He has to turn them over to a reprobate mind as spoken of in the first part of Romans... where they Do start experiencing evil that destroys them?

That's just stoopid... if one sins, CONFESS and REPENT and get back in to right fellowship... that's what the smart people do...
