Deut 33v27: “The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms…”
HIS EVERLASTING ARMS ARE UNDER US IN OUR:
1) Temptation
2) Pressures
3) Sickness
4) In suffering and death
5) In ALL of life’s trials
6) Conquests
THE EVERLASTING ARMS
2) Arms Of Everlasting Power: “In the Lord Yahweh is everlasting strength,” protected by God forever, He is an invincible Refuge. Isaiah 26v4
3) Arms Of Everlasting Faithfulness: Though we fail Him, He won’t fail us, He is the same yesterday, today and forever. He will never, never, never, never, never, fail us or forsake us. Heb 13v5,8
4) Arms Of Everlasting Purpose: God knew about our failures and successes before the foundation of the world and planned for them! He had got the next step in place after failure to put them right, He said, “I’m going to do that to help them.” He doesn’t force our will but plans for circumstances to come into our lives to meet our need and He did this before the foundation of the world. Everlasting purposes has been guiding your (and my) life up to now. When we get to Heaven it’ll be the same, “In the ages to come we might see those unsearchable riches in Christ.” Eph 3v8. God’s purposes are billions upon billions of years ahead of us. God’s Arms are around us for the ages of ages. God has NO beginning and NO end, filling ALL time and space with His omnipotence, omniscience, omnipresence, transcendance and immutability which are all looking after us and caring for us. Psalm 139 (all), Rom 8v28-30, Rev 13v8, 17v8
He could not think more of us than He does, He could NOT love us more. When we look at His Cross we know it’s true, BUT Moses said that without the light of the Cross, we see it IN the light of the Cross, and we know that there is nothing our Heavenly Father won’t do for us! Father, Son and Holy Spirit SO loved us that He came and sacrificed Himself even unto the death of the Cross. Under you are God’s everlasting Arms. When the Devil comes along and says, “what about your circumstances?” we say, “it doesn’t matter what the circumstances are like, God’s Arms are still under me! “Daddy is still cuddling me!” John 3v16, Rom 8v32, 1John 3v1,2
