If you are one, name what artists you are listening to the most, and maybe a song you really like. But this is just an easy outline IF you want it :]

I like songs of: Andy Mineo and Benjah, Lacrae, Thedashi, Trip Lee, Marlon Vincent, Mc Prophet. I like to use songs for youthmeetings in church or just for inspiration or to think about it.

I do like Christian rap, though its been a long time since i've been in the mood to listen. But i always hate discussing it with other Christians, because no one seems to listen to anything except the same popular artists. Every thread on the subject is nearly identical, with all the same names listed each time. It gets old and boring that no one can listen to something that isn't mainstream popular. Its like Christians only listen to the pop concept of rap, only what everyone else likes, and not anything else.

I like Christian rap as well and listen to a variety of artists not just Lecrae, Tedashii, etc. I listen to a guy whose musical name is Ty Walker. I listen to others but I am always expanding my musical tastes and artists a lot of times. God bless.

Well I am in the Netherlands and its hard to get familiar with other artists than the popular gospel rap artists. So I have no clue whom they are and just seek random on gospel and rap on internet to find more artists and more inspiration. The lyrics and words are more important than the beat. But good music helps to get the attention of youth.

Oops, I meant Ty Watcher not Ty Walker, sorry. Anyways I listen to other ones as well and I like checking out other artist's free mixtapes, singles, etc. I will not say I am a fan of many artists, I would just say I like them and how many times they blend their own testimony and others in the lyrics.

Turn off the worldly rap music, that has nothing to do with the narrow road that leads to life, these professing Christian bands resemble the world, and only those who love the world listen to this flesh stimulating nonsense, I challange all you professing Christians who listen to this music, to seek your heart, and ask yourself what these verses mean to you:

1Jn 2:15 Do not love the world, nor the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him,
1Jn 2:16 because all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
1Jn 2:17 And the world passes away, and the lust of it, but he who does the will of God abides forever.

1Jn 4:5 They are of the world, therefore they speak of the world, and the world hears them.

1Th 5:21
Prove all things, hold fast to the good.
1Th 5:22
Abstain from every appearance of evil

2Co 6:17 Therefore come out from among them and be separated, says the Lord, and do not touch the unclean thing. And I will receive you
2Co 6:18 and I will be a Father to you, and you shall be My sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.

If any of these bands were preaching the real gospel according to godliness, such as repentance, heart purity, crucifying the flesh, etc, coming out of the worlds mold by trying to mimic the vile worlds music, they would be broke, and shut down, but you buy their music, go to their concerts, and highly esteem them, what a shame!

Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and the rest will be given unto you!
