Spare none!
So, here goes..........
CRUZ:
At first, I gave Cruz serious consideration. He was not part of the good old boy club in D.C., and he talked the talk. I even complimented him (after his win in Iowa) here on C.C. for starting his speech with "To God be the glory." Sadly, within a couple of days the truth of his campaign machines dirty tricks played in Iowa as they related to Dr. Carson became public. All evidence considered, I do not believe he was innocent and had no knowledge of what happened. This took him out of consideration for me. From then until now, it is clear that I made the right choice. Cruz has proven to be just as adept at the Political games that infect our System like a cancerous growth as any of the good old boys in D.C.
CARSON:
Had a lot of hope for Carson, and he was my first choice. However, after a couple of Debates, it was evident that he was not prepared to take on this monster we call Political Campaigning. He simply did not have the "killer instinct" necessary to succeed. In the end, and in my opinion, his endorsement of Trump was a knife in my spirit. I still like Carson, and respect his accomplishments, but no longer consider him relevant to our Body Politic.
SANDERS:
I see Sanders as the greatest threat to our Democratic Republic of all the Candidates. That being said; I also believe that his success in the Nomination process has actually been more surprising than even Trumps. While not credited as such by the "talking heads," what Sanders has accomplished makes Trumps accomplishments pale in comparison.
CLINTON:
It's Hillary.........What has it been now? 30 or more years of the Clinton's? Enough is enough. Nothing has changed. Still, she only places 3rd on my "Most Dangerous" list.
BUSH:
Jeb was the hope of the Party I suppose, but he proved to not be able to carry the Banner. I believe Jeb has a good heart, but (much like Carson) lacks the "killer instinct" necessary. Jeb was a real disappointment.
RUBIO:
Marco was, for a season, a real consideration. But I only gave him "passing consideration," because it was painfully obvious early on that he was not yet mature enough to take on the Body Politic and win. Marco would have been better served, in my opinion, to have heeded the advice given, and waited........maybe 4 or 8 years before entering the Presidential waters. Might well have been a V.P. had he not became a Candidate. Should have remained in the Senate, and gained experience and Political support for a future run. I also believe, as with Jeb, Marco has a good heart, and was sincere in his beliefs.
KASICH;
Kasich is probably the one Candidate with the most experience to take on the duties of the Office of the President. However, he was never supported by the Body Politic, or the National Media. Still, of those remaining, he is probably the one best suited to be President, but, unless some serious shenanigans occur in Cleveland, he has no chance of receiving the Nomination. He actually has done what the others are claiming they can do in D.C.
TRUMP:
I've said all that can be said about Trump many, many times, on many, many threads here on C.C. I will say this. The MOST TRUTHFUL statement Trump has made since he announced his Candidacy is .......... "I could stand in the middle of 5th Avenue and shoot someone, and not lose a single vote." That has to be the most SAD commentary ever to come from someone who seeks to be President of our Nation, but it is surely true.
IN CLOSING;
Of the five Candidates remaining, I rate them (with regards to their being a thread to our Democratic Republic) as follows......from most dangerous to least.
SANDERS
TRUMP
CLINTON
CRUZ
KASICH
I don't have a dog in this hunt, or a horse in this race, or anyone I long to see win the Nomination and the Election. Of the five, Kasich is the only one I would vote for.
