President Obama promoting violent crimes and lawlessness.

One way Obama is fulfilling his stated goal to reform the U.S. criminal justice
system is by granting presidential pardons to prisoners.

On March 30, President Obama announced 61 grants of clemency to inmates.
More than a third of those prisoners were serving life sentences.

https://www.whitehouse.gov/the-pres...marks-president-commutations-prison-sentences

Speaking at a luncheon with formerly incarcerated individuals, the president remarked:

I am going to continue to emphasize the importance of pardons and commutations
going forward. Today, we commuted 61 additional individuals who are deserving
and who I believe will be looking at the people sitting here at this table as models
and inspiration for what is possible in their lives. That will mean that, at this point,

I will have commuted [248] sentences, which is more than the previous six presidents
combined....But we’re not done, and we’re going to keep on working on this until I leave.
-

On July 14, 2015, the day after he shortened the prison sentences of 46 people convicted
for nonviolent drug crimes, President Obama told the National Association for the Advancement
of Colored People (naacp) in Philadelphia that “the people in our prisons have made some
mistakes—and sometimes big mistakes.” But, he added, “they are also Americans.”

But giving more rights to the prisoners doesn’t only radically transform the justice
system, it drastically reshapes society! and [who] choices [who] to be reliesed ?

-

The 248 sentences which Obama commuted include 91 life sentences.
[The rap sheets] of some of the prisoners pardoned by President Obama
https://www.justice.gov/pardon/obama-pardons

that include crimes such as possession with intent to distribute cocaine,
illegal possession of a firearm and ammunition, [and using/carrying ]
a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking offense.

-

At the naacp meeting, President Obama said:
By just about every measure, the life chances for black and Hispanic youth
still lag far behind those of their white peers. …

Part of this is a legacy of hundreds of years of slavery and segregation, and structural
inequalities that compounded over generations. It did not happen by accident. Partly
it’s a result of continuing, if sometimes more subtle, bigotry—whether in who gets
called backfor a job interview, or who gets suspended from school, or what
neighborhood you are able to rent an apartment in .…

[W]e can’t be satisfied … until the opportunity gap is closed for everybody in America.
Everybody. But today, I want to focus on one aspect of American life that remains particularly
skewed by race and by wealth, a source of inequity that has ripple effects on families and on
communities and ultimately on our nation—and that is our criminal justice system. …

[O]ur criminal justice system isn’t as smart as it should be. It’s not keeping us as safe
as it should be. It is not as fair as it should be. Mass incarceration makes our country
worse off, and we need to do something about it.

Two days later, President Obama visited the El Reno Federal Correctional Institution in
Oklahoma, becoming the first sitting U.S. president to visit a federal prison. During his visit,
the president said in a brief question-and-answer session that what struck him most during his
visit was that many of the inmates “are young people who made mistakes that aren’t different
than the mistakes I made, and the mistakes that a lot of you guys made.”

He explained: “The difference is that they did not have the kind of support structures,
the second chances, the resources that would allow them to survive those mistakes.”

But some of those prisoners are repeating the same mistakes that got them incarcerated
in the first place. This is especially so among illegal immigrants.

On June 15, 2015, the Washington Times reported on government data which
[attributed 121 murders to illegals released by the Obama administration].
121 murders attributed to illegals released by Obama administration - Washington Times
-

During the six years Mr. Obama has been in power, the Department of Homeland Security
(dhs) has knowingly released some 195,900 criminally convicted illegal immigrants onto
America’s streets. That averages out to about 85 convicted criminals released per day.

"This would be considered the worst prison break in American history, except it
was sanctioned by the President and perpetrated by our own immigration officials.
These criminal immigrants should have been deported to ensure that they could
never commit crimes on U.S. soil. But instead, ICE officials chose not to detain
them and instead released them back onto American streets.”

-

The administration has not only knowingly released these criminals,
it has diligently worked to cover up these facts!

The president’s expeditious use of his power to grant pardons and commutations
is undermining America’s justice system and promoting violent crime.
-

Meanwhile, many of America’s big cities are experiencing huge spikes in violent crimes.
High demand for dangerous drugs like heroin among people living in suburbs is fueling
violence between gangs selling drugs in the cities. Gangs are being supplied with drugs
from Mexican cartels that have been exploiting America’s open southern border.

Number of Sanctuary Cities Rise as Immigration Laws Go Unenforced
Map: Sanctuary Cities, Counties, and States | Center for Immigration Studies

The number of sanctuary cities across the United States is growing.
There are now 340 jurisdictions that are obstructing immigration enforcement,
according to a report released by the Center for Immigration Studies in October.

The number of jurisdictions that are obstructing immigration enforcement has grown
to roughly 340, according to the Department of Homeland Security. This has resulted
in the release by local authorities of approximately 1,000 criminal aliens per month.

Another report prepared by the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ice) showed
that the each month sanctuary cities are releasing approximately 1,000 alien offenders
that ice seeks to deport. Of those released, 62 percent “had significant prior criminal
histories or other public safety concerns even before the arrest that led to a detainer.”

The murder of Kate Steinle by an illegal immigrant in San Francisco on July 1 brought
sanctuary cities back onto the political scene. The man charged with her murder had been
deported five times and had seven prior felony convictions. ice, which had asked
to be notified of his release, was never informed.

Local sanctuary cities are failing to consistently enforce federal law. Some of the
sheriffs of the sanctuary cities claim they should not receive the label since they
participate in the administration’s new Priority Enforcement Program (pep).

But the Center of Immigration Studies report explains:

pep explicitly allows jurisdictions to obstruct immigration enforcement by
ignoring detainers or barring ice access to jails. Under pep, immigration
officers also issue “requests for notification” asking local authorities to tell
them when a criminal alien in their custody will be released so ice can attempt
to take custody for deportation. Local agencies are free to ignore these notifications.

cnn political commentator Errol Louis says America’s immigration is all the worse
because of “the fundamentally different and conflicting goals of federal and local agencies.”
'Sanctuary cities' are not the problem - CNN.com

When a nation’s own law enforcement agencies pick and choose which laws to enforce
depending on which political party is in power, the nation is in a very dangerous situation.

July, 2015 New Anti-Racism Database

Obama collecting personal data for a secret race database
Obama collecting personal data for a secret race database | New York Post

july 18-Report: Obama Setting Up Secret 'Racial Database'
Report: Obama Setting Up Secret 'Racial Database'

The New York Post calls it the “largest consolidation of personal data in U.S. history.”
Obama collecting personal data for a secret race database | New York Post

Target: America “Even if no one has complained about discrimination,
even if there is no other evidence of racism,

the numbers themselves will ‘prove’ that things are unfair,” writes Sperry.

“Such databases have never before existed. Obama is … creating a diversity police state where
government race cops and civil-rights lawyers will micromanage demographic outcomes in virtually
every aspect of society. The first black president, quite brilliantly, has built a quasi-reparations
infrastructure perpetually fed by racial data that will outlast his administration.”

America’s first national database is set to revolutionize race relations in America.

“All this is doing is fanning the flames of racial strife,”
and allready we see our citys are starting to burn from within,
ethnic or race riots, and lawlessness and hate for authority is growing.

They will Target: Credit Card Companies
Target: Banks
Target: Schools and Colleges
Target: Cities, Suburbs and Neighborhoods

http://christianchat.com/christian-news-forum/124577-big-brother.html
For example:Target: Police and Correctional System

President Obama’s Justice Department is also targeting police forces and the correctional system.
It is well known that blacks make up 40 percent of inmates in federal prisons—far beyond their
13 percent within the general population. To the Obama administration, this is “disparate impact”
and thus proof of entrenched racism within the police and the justice system.

Recently some people have been pushing back against this idea that police are, on average,
racists, or that teachers are, on average, racists. As a response, the White House has promoted
the concept of “unconscious racism” and “unconscious bias.” This is the idea that police,
teachers—white people in general—are racist in their actions, but not knowingly so.

It is similar to the idea that white people can’t fully understand
what racism is because they have never experienced it.

For an idea of what President Obama is working toward, consider his July 16 trip to an Oklahoma
correctional facility. While there he told six inmates that “but for the grace of God,” it could have
been him in jail because he used to smoke weed and do cocaine as a youth. He said the reason they
were there and that other Americans weren’t was because they didn’t have the support systems the
rest of us have. He quoted the inmates as urging America to consider what it could have done to
reach them before they were incarcerated.

The implication is that racist America is at least partially to blame.

If you are part of a police force in a city that is 40 percent black and 60 percent white—the number
of arrests and convictions had better be 40 percent black and 60 percent white. Already the Justice
Department is prosecuting various police forces for supposed disparate impact on minority communities.

Again, “disparate impact” does not consider alternative reasons for any disparity. It is the proof
of racism.Drug and alcohol abuse is higher within the African American community than the general
populace. Thus it would be expected that more African Americans would be arrested for drug use.

But this does not matter to them. What matters is that arrests and convictions
match race population profiles.

why does the thread title say he's promoting violent crimes if he's only been commuting the sentences of non-violent offenders?
the link showing the crimes of people sentenced to life is all for non-violent drug possession/distribution. numerous studies have shown that African Americans receive disproportionately longer sentences for such things - including life terms.

could you point out which violent crimes he's promoting, and be more clear about exactly how he's doing that, so i won't think you're guilty of libel here?

thanks.

The 248 sentences which Obama commuted include 91 life sentences.

that include crimes such as possession with intent to distribute cocaine,

so would using or carrying a firearm while committing crimes a violent act?

I see. I read them and I Am shocked! Thank you for including the link! While most of them I can understand, I don't get why the ones who had weapons will be released... And why they were at least some of the ones with lesser sentences! I would have to know all the specifics to really say for sure, but that Definatly doesn't sound right!!! BTW, I Didn't vote for Obama-- either time :)

Target: Schools and Colleges

The new Civil Rights Data Collection project targets the education system. It is collecting data on every
student in America based on race. the government says that because black and Latino students are
suspended at rates higher than white and Asian students, the education system is biased against them.

The Justice Department [refuses to consider outside factors] that could cause black students to be
more likely to misbehave and thus to warrant discipline.

-
For example, it does not believe that broken families could be the major cause of student misbehavior.
Schools that refuse to stop suspending black students out of proportion to their population have their funding cut.

So now, for example, only white students are allowed to be suspended
in Minneapolis and St. Paul schools.

the total breakdown of the family is the core issue here

The case for Obama’s impeachment: The Constitution’s remedy for a lawless, imperial president | Fox News

Without notifying Congress as required by law, he set free terrorist prisoners
at a time of war when they can return to the battlefield to kill our troops.

In violation of our Constitution, he regularly ignores court orders, changes laws by
executive fiat, and refuses to enforce laws he doesn’t like, including our immigration laws.

When Congress declined to pass amnesty for illegal immigrants’ offspring,
he unilaterally enacted his own version of it, which created the current crisis on our
border as illegal youth pour into our country to receive what he illegally promised them.

none of those listed are violent offenders. they are all non-violent drug possession and distribution offenses; i looked through the whole list.

possessing a firearm is not a violent crime. none of the charges listed for any of those people involved using a firearm - just possessing one, in some of the cases. federal law prohibits anyone who uses a prohibited drug from simple possession of firearm; that's why you see those charges.
if there are drugs found in a house, everyone there can be charged with breaking the law if they have a gun too -- even if they have a permit for it and it's fully registered etc.
i don't even see "resisting arrest" listed.

i think you're unfairly accusing the President of things that are simply not true.
nothing you've put here shows that the POTUS is encouraging violent crime.

if you don't like him commuting sentences, that's fine - he has his reasons for doing it, and we can talk about those. he also has his reasons for choosing the people he chose - all non-violent offenders - probably precisely because he does not encourage or approve of violent crime.
