Thats why I believe health care should be a cash and carry business.

It is a noble idea to want to help every one, but Obama's plan is obviously beginning to spring leaks, as predicted, only a few years in.
The bigger issue is that Americans are not taking responsibility for their health, and are eating to many unhealthy foods.
Not to mention the decaying environment, and weakening DNA.

I have heard that nonsensical reply so many times.
Joseph, there are some things not worth replying to. The only reason why I addressed the "well if doctors say it, it must be true" line was because it's a good point of illustration for all the audience, members and non alike, to read about the worlds worth of wrong with it. That aside, I threw the prior comments out at first glance. It was hilarious to see who swooped down and liked the comment though, that gave me a good laugh, was good for that alone.

I take good care of myself and at 57 my blood tests show the health of a 35/40 year old and I never go to doctors and am on no meds.
So I am absolutely no drain at all on the system. In fact I give to the system, I don't take.
Yet, I have to pay for those who don't eat properly and abuse themselves. That annoys me.
If people took care of themselves like many vegans do, the countries health care bill would probably be about 100 times lower then it is and we could all have health care.

I don't know if you meant that to be funny, but I got a laugh from it.
I'm serious. The wrong people are making the most babies. All us good Christians need to start making more babies. When my wife comes to her senses, I'll make a good effort at it.

And even if it is not to clear to you, are you okay with the government strong arming us to force our children take them?
No, they shouldn't strong arm anyone, especially if some people are under the impression they do, in fact, cause autism.

However, from the link posted in the OP, parents are given an alternative if they don't want to vaccinate their children. That goes against the idea of "strong arming" them into it. In fact, the mere title is a bit contradictory to me. Children are "forced" to take vaccines "or"... That is like saying God is "forcing" us to be obedient children to Him. No, we clearly have a choice, but we understand the consequences (damnation and condemnation) if we don't accept Christ as our Saviour.

This is for Laura and Joseph:

While we might disagree on vaccinations, I want to commend both of you for disagreeing civilly without name calling or belittling anyone in the process. It's a lost art. For me, you make the conversation much more approachable in that I don't fear negative recourse for having an adverse opinion. You both are setting a good example on how to disagree and I truly hope people notice this and can carry it over in other threads.

Thank you and God bless you. :)

It has already been said here, the more recent vaccines are not the same as years ago.
Why would the vaccines be different? There probably ain't no more actual people with autism, just more people being diagnosed with autism.

No problem, it's easy to do and people's responses are oh so predictable it's hilariously sad. Just while I've got you here, I need to apologise for your books being banned from our school, so soz oh evil one. I'll see if I can put in an application for an exception to the rule. Let you know how it goes down.

It's true, the math is compelling regarding the birthrate of Muslims vs. Christians. Europe is already mathematically lost to Islam. There's several studies. Each family must have 2.1 children to sustain a culture for 25 years. America is hanging on by a thread because of the Hispanics in meeting that metric. There's a fantastic documentary that lays out the numbers, I can't remember the name at the moment but will dig it up.

I assume you're being sarcastic with this comment as it's estimated that 75% of people in the reproductive age has been infected with at least 1 type of genital HPV. This leads to cervical, colon, and throat cancer.
No I do not believe there was an ounce of sarcasm.

Not be allowed into public school? Why would anyone want to go to public school? This is laughable. The quality of education and morality there is atrocious. I was taking a college-level English course in junior high at a private school. When I went to public school my English skills backslid. I was taken out and was put through a private correspondence course where I was able to work at my own pace, and I went from getting C's and D's to getting A's. There's a reason why American education is falling behind when compared to other developed nations.

I have no idea why anyone would want to put their kid in public school. It should be a last resort which only poverty leads you to.
But this is totally unfair to those who do not have a choice.

Before Gardasil my daughter was an outgoing, super funny, confident, soccer athlete, practicing 3-4 hrs a day. She planned to play HS soccer and move on to college soccer. Autumn was a free spirit and so full of life. Her love for animals and passion to save the mistreated drove her to want to open her own animal shelter. She had dreams, goals and a plan. That is until she had the Gardasil vaccine.
In January of 2010 she began the series of Gardasil shots. Her second shot was on 3/31 and by 5/10 we had her back to the doctors due to shortness of breath, along with horrible rib and back pain. From then on, our nightmare just kept getting worse.
[h=3]Autumn’s life after Gardasil[/h]She experienced excruciating rib/back pain episodes and was unable to stand up straight or breathe deeply. Pain episodes lasting as long as 4 weeks, requiring many ER visits. During one of these visits a mass measuring 6x12x9 was found in her abdominal muscle under her rib. The doctors thought it was possibly bone cancer. They kept her overnight to do a bone biopsy but by morning the mass was gone. It literally disappeared overnight! Her doctors could give no explanation and conducted no further studies.
So, her life continued with constant leg/knee pain, intense muscle contractions, painful joints, chronic congestion, sore throats, ear pain, reoccurring hearing loss, bladder infections, heat sensitivity, feeling faint in showers/baths, shortness of breath walking one flight of steps/talking too long, unbearable migraines leaving her screaming in pain, light/sound sensitivity, chest pains, racing heart, lymphadenopathy, tiny cuts bleeding over 20 min, bruising, petechial rashes, cold purple feet, heavy menstrual cycles, paralyzing pelvic pain with lumps that come and go, cycles lasting 3 weeks or longer. Chronic fatigue, sleeping sometimes 20 hrs a day, night sweats, strange skin sensations, lips going numb, reoccurring rashes covering her body including the mucosa of her mouth/nose making breathing difficulties requiring ER visits. Gastroparesis- stomach paralysis causing severe bloating appearing as if she was 6 months pregnant, debilitating pain, no appetite, severe weight loss, weight gain from body going into starvation mode, constant nausea, vomiting blood/bile leaving her begging for mercy and pleading for death.

Autumn will live with stomach paralysis for the rest of her life. Can you imagine being unable to absorb nutrition and suffering malnourishment as a result?
Autumn fought hard to keep the life she had prior to Gardasil, but eventually was forced to quit soccer and withdraw from school.
She has been diagnosed with depression and anxiety. Autumn suffers from extreme memory loss, anger, insomnia, and severely diminished cognitive processes. She has self-harmed, cutting and branding her wrist/hips to cope with the suffering she endures daily.
Did the benefits of Gardasil outweigh the risk for Autumn? Absolutely not!
Where is the medical community now? They casually say our daughter is a complicated case and offer no answers, wish us luck then send us on our way.
Like so many other families we have been left to try and cope the best we can. No recognition is ever given to the possibility that the Gardasil vaccine may be the cause of Autumn’s long list of terrible side effects.
This young lady has to suffer and wonder why this has happened to her and why no one in the medical community appears to care.
We, as her family, are left to try and pick up the pieces and keep her as safe as we can. This is no easy task but she is our daughter and we love her so much.
In our hearts, we know if we could go back in time our daughter would never have had these three shots of Gardasil. Life at this moment in time would be perfect for her and for us. If only ……!!

And that's why flippancy in opinions should be totally disregarded. Some things should not be left up to witty pseudo indoctrinated "logic" from those who have no horse in the race.

One of the biggest myths being propagated in the compliant mainstream media today is that doctors are either pro-vaccine or anti-vaccine, and that the anti-vaccine doctors are all “quacks.”

However, nothing could be further from the truth in the vaccine debate. Doctors are not unified at all on their positions regarding “the science” of vaccines, nor are they unified in the position of removing informed consent to a medical procedure like vaccines.

The two most extreme positions are those doctors who are 100% against vaccines and do not administer them at all, and those doctors that believe that ALL vaccines are safe and effective for ALL people, ALL the time, by force if necessary.

Very few doctors fall into either of these two extremist positions, and yet it is the extreme pro-vaccine position that is presented by the U.S. Government and mainstream media as being the dominant position of the medical field.

In between these two extreme views, however, is where the vast majority of doctors practicing today would probably categorize their position. Many doctors who consider themselves “pro-vaccine,” for example, do not believe that every single vaccine is appropriate for every single individual.

Many doctors recommend a “delayed” vaccine schedule for some patients, and not always the recommended one-size-fits-all CDC childhood schedule. Other doctors choose to recommend vaccines based on the actual science and merit of each vaccine, recommending some, while determining that others are not worth the risk for children, such as the suspect seasonal flu shot.

These doctors who do not hold extreme positions would be opposed to government-mandated vaccinations and the removal of all parental exemptions.

In this eBook, I am going to summarize the many doctors today who do not take the most extremist pro-vaccine position, which is probably not held by very many doctors at all, in spite of what the pharmaceutical industry, the federal government, and the mainstream media would like the public to believe.
