Biden throws down the gauntlet to start the campaign for real, He is out for revenge, lashing out at everyone that doesn't bow to him including the Supreme Court. Arrested a Gold star father, and lambasted the Republicans for not defending Ukraine.

I would rank this as the worst Presidential State of the Union address. Instead of comparing him to himself, let's put up this speech compared to any previous State of the Union by any other president.
Stolen elections have consequences.

Listen to what this Sheriff says, it is astounding. It makes Joe Biden's administration complicit in human trafficking, the sex trade, and violation of federal laws.

HOLY! Based sheriff just EXPOSED Joe Biden!!!

yes, and they all almost all always bad consequences..

The last time states departed the leader was of the mind to resist it,,,that was the error in that they needed leaders in office who would permit it.

The biggest challenge in America is that people don’t know what war really means. They don’t understand the impact of war. Nearly no one has ever been in combat and seen their comrades being slaughtered or wounded for life. It’s just news on a screen. They don’t see it, they don’t hear it and they don’t smell it.

The gruesome thing is that we’re inching closer and closer to war. It’s not Biden or Trump’s fault, it’s the dynamics of countries and regimes that have no respect for human lives.

Please don’t encourage them by buying into their propaganda.

We have had decades of freedom in the western world, but that won’t last forever if we don’t stand up for ourselves and fight the tyranny of Russia, China and their allies.

I consider most of the chatter here to be just venting. If for instance Texas or any other state were to seriously be considering forming another nation their conversations would be well further evolved. It would be a difficult thing to explain to a population of people that after seceding they then would be faced with denouncing US citizenship which would mean they would no longer benefit from it's social programs(SS,Medicare unemployment ect.) even things like 401k would be taxed 30% off the top because they were in another nation. So it would be rather difficult to convince a people to forfeit their own retirements and other benefits. Now if we were to ever see a push to end all of these social programs then I would see it as a sign that states were planning an exit. Those things you mention I suppose they consider to remain after a breakup but in actuality they are "national" and so things like those National Guard units would no longer be in that state and so like you say it will not look like they may imagine.

(You meant "renouncing" but that is OK. Typos happen).

What you should also recognize is that if any state became a conservative independent nation, it would hopefully leave all the federal baggage and waste behind. If Texas went with a strictly conservative government (and actually banned Communism), it would do the following:
1. Reduce the income tax to a flat tax of 10% of gross income (personal or corporate) and keep tax filing simply. Just one page showing gross income and 10% tax.
2. Totally eliminate tax deductions and tax credits.
3. Maintain strictly balanced budgets, with no deficit spending, and no government borrowing.
4. Make a commitment to use tax funds strictly for essential government services and infrastructure. No pork, no subsidies, no wasteful expenditures.
5, Reduce government agencies, politicians, and bureaucracy to an absolute minimum, and focus on law enforcement.
6. Make free enterprise the bedrock of the economy, and not interfere with the private sector.
7. Leave retirement planning to the private sector.
8. Block all imports from China, or impose very heavy tariffs.
9. Encourage the manufacturing of all goods and products within Texas itself.
10. Make doing business with Mexico contingent upon no border violations, no drugs, no trafficking.
11. Eliminate the welfare state, the nanny state, homelessness, etc. Make able-bodied people work for a living.
12. Go back to the gold standard instead of fiat currency.

These are all common sense measures which all governments avoid. But if people pay less in taxes and retain more of their income (while well paying jobs are in abundant supply, and unemployment is minimal), they can actually put aside huge savings for retirement, or any other purpose.

It would behoove Congress to rein in the endless tax pillaging too.
Frankly, there are so many economic red flags and flashing red lights at this point, I think that a major financial crisis is quite inevitable.

"the omnibus will bust the bipartisan spending caps signed into law less than a year ago

Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) was critical of the spending package, calling it a “pork fest of epic proportions.”"

I suppose your correct about renounce verses denounce I guess it was on my mind from the current news in Texas(Abbott is "denouncing" any idea of succeeding). https://www.sacurrent.com/news/texa...n-much-to-dismay-of-texit-supporters-33974386

I was actually trying to touch briefly on the hurdles Texas would face if exiting without using any of the groups names like TEXIT but that's not real,lol... vehicles like the one in the picture in this article are all over Texas and their supporters will try their best to talk us into it but if you ask them questions about retirement, veterans benefits ect. they get real choked up. The truth is if they poll Texans about TEXIT they get a good 70% approval and then again if they explain all the downfalls it drops down to about 2% approval, lol

You make a good list of things that would amount to a "ideal dream government" but you might want to trim it up here and there. I'm not much at starting a bunch of new threads but one on succession would be a really interesting. In your list you say several things(too many to address in a single post) briefly though who do you suggest Texas import it's food from? Since Texas is known for it's oil and gas who would we sell it to after exiting to keep our economy going if we block imports and place tariffs on nations like China? Will we use the US dollar or print our own? In #11 those social programs actually need to be ended before the exit because if not and everyone looses them then half of Texas will starve or be homeless in the first six months(which is the main hurdle in convincing people to give it up)... Again way too many things to address in a single post so maybe someone might start a new thread for it it seems many in the US think Texas could even feed itself when half of it is dry as a bone and it's southern parts are drying up as we speak...

CIA Built "12 Secret Spy Bases" In Ukraine & Waged Shadow War For Last Decade, Bombshell NYT Report Confirms

https://www.zerohedge.com/geopoliti...ne-waged-shadow-war-last-decade-bombshell-nyt

On Sunday The New York Times published an explosive and very belated full admission that US intelligence has not only been instrumental in Ukraine wartime decision-making, but has established and financed high tech command-and-control spy centers, and was doing so long prior to the Feb. 24 Russian invasion of two years ago.

Among the biggest revelations is that the program was established a decade ago and spans three different American presidents. The Times says the CIA program to modernize Ukraine's intelligence services has "transformed" the former Soviet state and its capabilities into "Washington’s most important intelligence partners against the Kremlin today."

This has included the agency having secretly trained and equipped Ukrainian intelligence officers spanning back to just after the 2014 Maidan coup events, as well constructing a network of 12 secret bases along the Russian borderwork which began eight years ago. These intelligence bases, from which Russian commanders' communications can be swept up and Russian spy satellites monitored, are being used launch and track cross-border drone and missile attacks on Russian territory.
===============================================================================================

A stunning admission: "Tiptoeing Around Trump"

Among the most interesting and curious moments of the NYT report is a description of the CIA program's expanse under the Trump administration. The report suggests that the true scope may have even been hidden from Trump. The Russian hawks in his administration quietly did the 'dirty work', we are told:

The election of Trump in November 2016 put the Ukrainians and their CIA partners on edge.
Trump praised Putin and dismissed Russia’s role in election interference. He was suspicious of Ukraine and later tried to pressure its president, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, to investigate his Democratic rival, Biden, resulting in Trump’s first impeachment.

Joe Biden Voters Tell Him to Drop Out

https://www.newsweek.com/joe-biden-...=Social&utm_source=Twitter#Echobox=1709997190

A majority of those who voted for Joe Biden in the 2020 presidential election would support him dropping out of the 2024 White House race, according to a new poll conducted exclusively for Newsweek.

The Redfield & Wilton Strategies survey of 1,500 eligible U.S. voters found 54 percent of 2020 Biden voters want him to leave the 2024 race; just 21 percent would actively oppose this. Those who voted Democrat in 2020 are more likely to support Biden dropping out than the general public, among whom 45 percent want the sitting president to step aside, while 30 percent are opposed. The poll was conducted online on Saturday, March 2.

Your are right. This whole subject needs it's own thread.

But getting back to the water supply -- when you look at a map of Texas, it is full of rivers all over the state. But assuming those rivers cannot provide sufficient irrigation, Texas sits on the Gulf of Mexico. So what's to stop Texas from desalinating tons and tons of water and piping it all over the state? This would be a major project and a part of the infrastructure paid for by tax dollars. But if Israel can successfully desalinate and use sea water, so can anyone else. Texans need to think "outside the box".

Israel Proves the Desalination Era Is Here
https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/israel-proves-the-desalination-era-is-here/
Israel now gets 55 percent of its domestic water from desalination, and that has helped to turn one of the world’s driest countries into the unlikeliest of water giants.

The fact that Trump has supporters like this says enough.
Says what enough? Your contempt for Trump supporters says enough about where you stand -- with the evildoers. Yes, you are a true believer in promoting evil.

But then again, the darkness hates the light.....
