My main issue, my only issue really, is their willingness to throw so much support behind someone like Trump in hope that he can fix things. It's like they've disengaged their brains and thrown reason out the window.
So much support? How about whatever support boosts him into office?
And NEVER assume brain-dead loyalty. I for one DO NOT IMPLICITY trust Trump or any other politician.

If and when Trump blows it.......he should be dismissed.
Frankly, he screwed up during his tenure. A lot. But this go-around he has some allies that MIGHT make up for his weaknesses and failings.

As for "consequences", the other guys are hell-bent on destroying the nation. Bye bye 1st and 2nd Amendments and then the rest.
America is truly DOOMED under the present regime. WW3 is inevitable if they rule the roost.

For God doesn't want a part of you he all of you. Put your trust in the Lord and you will not have to worry about this "11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:" there is still time to ask for forgiveness and he can make you clouded eyes whole and your blinded mind clear. He will tell you the things to come as a friend would. After all all things are possible with God.

Is that some kind of a sermon to make me feel all weepy and give up my rights and freedoms by voting for Kamalatov and then watch the nation burn?

No thanks.

What I want to know from you is this:
1) Is it legal for the CIA to engage in ANY domestic matter?
2) Is it legal for the CIA to deliberately interfere in a presidential election?
3) who benefited from the abovementioned ILLEGAL activities?

What are we electing then?

Glad you asked! Trump Administration Accomplishments

Unprecedented Economic Boom
Before the China Virus invaded our shores, we built the world’s most prosperous economy.
America gained 7 million new jobs – more than three times government experts’ projections.

Middle‐Class family income increased nearly $6,000 – more than five times the gains during the entire previous administration.

The unemployment rate reached 3.5 percent, the lowest in a half‐century.

Achieved 40 months in a row with more job openings than job‐hirings.

More Americans reported being employed than ever before – nearly 160 million.

Jobless claims hit a nearly 50‐year low.

The number of people claiming unemployment insurance as a share of the population hit its lowest on
record.

Incomes rose in every single metro area in the United States for the first time in nearly 3 decades.

Unemployment rates for African Americans, Hispanic Americans, Asian Americans, Native Americans,
veterans, individuals with disabilities, and those without a high school diploma all reached record lows.

Unemployment for women hit its lowest rate in nearly 70 years.

Lifted nearly 7 million people off of food stamps.

Poverty rates for African Americans and Hispanic Americans reached record lows.

Income inequality fell for two straight years, and by the largest amount in over a decade.

The bottom 50 percent of American households saw a 40 percent increase in net worth.

Wages rose fastest for low‐income and blue collar workers – a 16 percent pay increase.

African American homeownership increased from 41.7 percent to 46.4 percent.

Brought jobs, factories, and industries back to the USA.

Created more than 1.2 million manufacturing and construction jobs.

Put in place policies to bring back supply chains from overseas.

Small business optimism broke a 35‐year old record in 2018.

Hit record stock market numbers and record 401ks.

The DOW closed above 20,000 for the first time in 2017 and topped 30,000 in 2020.

The S&P 500 and NASDAQ have repeatedly notched record highs.

Rebuilding and investing in rural America.

Signed an Executive Order on Modernizing the Regulatory Framework for Agricultural Biotechnology
Products, which is bringing innovative new technologies to market in American farming and agriculture.

Strengthened America’s rural economy by investing over $1.3 billion through the Agriculture
Department’s ReConnect Program to bring high‐speed broadband infrastructure to rural America.

Achieved a record‐setting economic comeback by rejecting blanket lockdowns.

An October 2020 Gallup survey found 56 percent of Americans said they were better off during a
pandemic than four years prior.

During the third quarter of 2020, the economy grew at a rate of 33.1 percent – the most rapid GDP
growth ever recorded.

Since coronavirus lockdowns ended, the economy has added back over 12 million jobs, more than half
the jobs lost.

Jobs have been recovered 23 times faster than the previous administration’s recovery.

Unemployment fell to 6.7 percent in December, from a pandemic peak of 14.7 percent in April – beating
expectations of well over 10 percent unemployment through the end of 2020.

Under the previous administration, it took 49 months for the unemployment rate to fall from 10 percent
to under 7 percent compared to just 3 months for the Trump Administration.

And people are still dumb enough to ask why we are voting Trump.

I believe you can find a full description of their methodologies at the link.

The problem is, kids today are leaving our faith in droves. They're the most non-religious generation in US history, and what's really sad is how the main thing driving them away is Christians, not Christianity itself.
I mostly agree. I'm not convinced it's necessarily mostly BECAUSE of Christians. The bulk of the blame should go towards feminism. Of course, correlation does not mean causation, but we can see as the population has increasingly become more non-religious, feminism has snowballed and cemented itself within our society. We can look at the Methodist church as an example of this type of feminist infection within Protestantism. So, you are correct in pointing out "Christians", but I would point to feminism in a broader sense.

In case anyone is curious how I would describe or define "feminism", it would be an egalitarian framework with an emphasis on the destruction of the patriarchy as it's prescription.

Yesterday, Trump broke yet another federal law when he used Arlington National Cemetery for a campaign photo op. He posed next to a fallen soldier's grave, smiling and giving a thumbs up gesture (who the heck does that next to a grave? Is he happy the soldier died?)

Federal law is extremely clear about this. Arlington National Cemetery stated:

“Federal law prohibits political campaign or election-related activities within Army National Military Cemeteries, to include photographers, content creators or any other persons attending for purposes, or in direct support of a partisan political candidate’s campaign. Arlington National Cemetery reinforced and widely shared this law and its prohibitions with all participants.”
Remember, Trump didn't visit Arlington in 2021-2023, and only visited it this year as part of his campaign, in direct violation of federal law.

Reports are also coming out that an employee at Arlington attempted to stop Trump and his campaign from staging their photo-op, and there was an ensuing "scuffle".

So we have Trump referring to American soldiers as "losers and suckers", Trump insulting POWs like John McCain ("I like heroes who weren't captured"), Trump saying the civilian Medal of Freedom is better than the military's Medal of Honor, and now breaking federal law to use Arlington National Cemetery for a campaign photo-op.

Disgusting.

Just shows his disrespect for the military despite his claims to the contrary. This is a perfect example of how Trump's followers selectively tune out what they don't want to hear and only listen to what they do want to hear. Trump says he supports the military? Good enough, he must support them then.

Well, the survey data I've seen seems to show that they're leaving the faith because they see Christians as too political, too judgmental/hypocritical, anti-science, among other things.

It's a problem, but the good thing is it's fixable.

Lol no it isn't. You have no proof of that claim! There's nothing to back that up. It's an opinion, and an awful big brush you're using to implicate the saints. I'd be careful of accusing the saints.
You seem to have very real problems dealing with information that goes against what you want to be true, with your standard reflex upon encountering such info being to just say "nope".

People have done surveys, including Christian groups, where they ask young people why they left. Is it your view that we should ignore what they say if it isn't what we want?

No, i agree with residentalien, Its the republican Christians like MTG that are making Christianity look ridiculous to the younger generation. American kid are being led away easily because "woe to those in ease" but this is not caused by "feminism". it caused by what they consuming on tv, ticktock, Netflix, and YT. Even Disney plus is promoting the the fake gender agenda.

There's more Christian then there's ever been. during the covid lockdowns in China. there have been more people converting to Christ then ever before.

Feminism is a result of the times. so as in the times of Sodom and Gomorrah, the sin ot the last days will be worse than in those days. men will burn with lust for another man. I always wanted to know the meaning of that and now i know it. with all these trans. Has there ever been more gay people than today?

Something like this would be the end of most campaigns. Hopefully such blatant exploitation of fallen soldiers severely damages his.

Sadly, from my anecdotal experience, I can agree with some of those complaints. I stopped going to a particular protestant church because when the men in the congregation would meet up, they would turn that service/meeting into an RNC convention. I'm a conservative, but I don't go to church to simp for Republican politicians for half of the allotted time.

I don't mean to sound like a jerk, but if people leave the church (Christ) because other people are judgmental/hypocritical, then I doubt they really had a sincere testimony of the Savior Jesus Christ. At the very least, if they did have one, it wasn't cultivated on a solid foundation for it to wither away by someone else. Our testimony should be impenetrable to such outside forces/influences.

To speak on hypocrites, I don't doubt that there are many hypocritical Christians. I, shamefully, admit to being one even. The thing is, if I speak the true word of Christ but I fail to live up to the truth I spoke, it doesn't make what I said false. This is a logical fallacy. Two things can be true: 1.) I am a hypocrite, 2.) My stating Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world.

What do you think that agenda is? Feminism. You're agreeing with me but objecting to the label I slapped onto those platform's agenda. It's a bit confusing as to why you object to my saying it's "feminism".

Let's say I concede the fact there are more Christians alive today in the US than there were 100 years ago. Isn't that because the population has increased 300%? Furthermore, the post I replied to specified within the US. You're moving the goal post in referencing China's growth.

Feminism has picked up the cause of the LGBTQ+ community. You agree yet disagree again.

Yep. After my church shut down, I visited a few churches including one that I left pretty quickly for the same reason. I don't attend service to be told how to vote.

It's really hard to say in a general sense, and I'm sure everyone has their own experiences and stories. Certainly we're not perfect and we can be hypocritical like anyone else. But I think when some Christians are quick to judge and condemn others while being just as guilty (and getting defensive when the judgement and condemnation is turned to them), it can turn some people away who are just starting to get familiar with our faith.

It's certainly something to pray on.

True, there isn't objective data to really say for certain so I'll admit my opinion is mostly anecdotal.

I'll speak for myself on a period of time I stopped living with Christ as the center. Was I annoyed about the judgmental hypocrites? Yes, it was a deterrent to want to attend church but I wouldn't say that was the reason I temporarily turned away from Christ. I simply wanted to live my life and do things I wanted to do. I appealed to arguments of "If it doesn't hurt anyone, why is it bad" which led to me turning more Libertarian. While I wasn't engaging in typical degenerate behavior, I found myself accepting more of the feminists' ideology and excusing it. Thankfully, in an effort to find the truth and KNOW it in my head and in my heart, I was brought back to Christ. My testimony is independent of anyone else. People will make it difficult for me to want to fellowship with them, but that doesn't take away from the ultimate truth, that God lives and that we are saved through Jesus Christ.

My prescription towards disenfranchised Christians with legitimate complaints of overly political Christians, talk to them. Engage fruitfully with them and disengage when you realize they aren't wanting to or are incapable of doing it. If they get emotional and start making personal insults, it isn't a reflection on you... They are showing anyone who hears their rant who they really are... Just don't let that shake your testimony.

Smoke,

I think you are confusing feminism and femininity.

the bible has clearly said this will happen as we get closer to the end.

What they are really doing is remaking a man to appear like a woman. This hides their sin. but it is not femineity. Coveting a female's natural attributes and giving it to a man is the same as this:

Dead flies cause the ointment of the apothecary to send forth a stinking savour:
