Covenant theology vs Dispensationalism

Covenant Theology and Dispensationalism

Both of these theologies begin with truth, but both can go off the rails. This video gives a very nice description.

1. Dispensational theology can go off the rails because Christians assume that "pray for the peace of Jerusalem" somehow means that Jews are saved (they are not saved simply by being descendants of Abraham). I understand this verse to mean to pray for those in Jerusalem to be saved because it is only in Jesus that we can truly have peace. I also understand this to mean that we are to always have Jerusalem in view because it is God's prophetic timepiece.

2. Covenant theology goes off the rails in my opinion when they assume that the New Testament has erased any promises previously made to Abraham and his descendants.

The way I view this is the same way that this man presents it in this video. Israel was the vehicle that the Messiah arrived in. Jesus is the Messiah to the whole world, being Jewish is not an advantage to getting saved but it is an advantage in being raised with the Bible. This background gives them an advantage over Gentiles in understanding some of the things written in the Bible. Faith in Jesus is the main event and the focus of the ages. But, that faith includes believing that the Lord is faithful and that includes all the promises and covenants made to Abraham, David, and Israel.

Israel can have its own country that is not my focus, my focus is showing this is by no means asymmetrical unless one thinks one human life is not of equal value as the other.

Israel was a nation created by the Rothchilds this is an indisputable fact.
Garbage. Israel was reconsituted by God, however He chose to do it, according to clear prophecies in His word.

Sheesh, get a grip on reality. What western imperialistic goals might they be? Russia and China restrained. Russia is tied up trying to restore its lost empire. That's not imperialistic? China claims most of the South China Sea as well as Taiwan. Not imperialistic much.
Did I state there were not other countries with imperialistic goals?
But again there is plenty of blame to go around with all countries that is my point.

The bolded is in error. Dispensationalists do not believe this. Jews believe this. But christians do not.

I can find footage of Jewish people with the same sentiment, hatred runs deep on both sides.
You're missing the point.

It's not about finding a nutcase here or there that will say hateful things, it's about a religion that TEACHES from birth those hateful things, that a huge percentage of adherents believe.

Look at the point you have gotten here because of Amillennialism. You are literally defending muslims, and their hateful ideology.

I don't know where this dude got this from, but it is a flat out lie. I don't know a single Christian, nor heard a Christian, say the Jews are saved merely because they are Jews, or descendants of Abraham.

We have already pointed out that it is asymmetrical, everyone knows this. The population of those allied against Israel in this fight is 25 times as large as the population of Israel. So it is 25:1.

You have not said what imperialistic goals the West will achieve by a war in the Middle East.

Globalist goals, a desperate attempt to get money to Ukraine (tied to money to Israel) and then launder it back to the election to get the globalists elected.

See you are conflating geopolitics and religion. I am trying to avoid that but I guess it is not possible.
I am not defending any false religion.
I am trying to show this crisis is asymmetrical and always has been from a geo-political point of view.

When people start using words like hate and antisemitism (not you) then I know no further discussion can be had.
It is amazing to me that if one does not defend Israel and give them "carte blanche" one is defending Muslims.

If this is people's position there will be no peace for a long time yet.

There are some, Christians is a very broad term and can refer to both nominal and genuine believers.

Why would globalists need money by fraud? They have vast resources as it is.

Every argument I have ever heard against dispensationalism is based on facts that dispensational people do not even believe.

its amazing..

This is the straw man that HeIsHere is fighting and why He claims Evangelicals are brainwashed and is cheering for the end of Chrisitianity.

I believe it is a misunderstanding of referring to Jews as "God's chosen people".

The Muslim tells the Christian that he was told by ISLAM to hate, cut the head off, and fight the non muslim. They are taught this from birth!
Their hero is a war mongering adulterous pedophile.

It is against the law in some places to tell the truth about Muhammad.
