How is it that Christians can watch filth like this?????
What's the last "Decent" show you've watched?
Help me out here. How can a Christian think it's okay to watch Game of Thrones and Versailles?
Do you not read the Bible either, for there is human filth in there, too!?!?!? King Louis XIV remains the longest reigning European monarch, and stood against the excesses of his time, being a firm believer in God, even though he too was a sinner. Oh dear. I guess you avoid much of history. Well, The Crown was fairly decent, but even that had an expletive an it.

You are right. There is a lot of immorality in the entertainment industry. But this thread is not about that discussion. It is just a thread where we can share what we watch. End of discussion.

I think will go back to watch some documentaries about war and conspiracies or something. I will close my eyes if I see something inappropriate and I promise not to laugh. Seriously.
I will just take ur signiture to heart...humbug was die leit babble hahaha

Yes, all those history books, and documentaries with explicit, gratuitous sex scenes in them. Come on, Magenta. Stop rationalizing lust.

Unless you are talking about a nude beach you are waaaaaay wrong, and even then there is no out in the open sexual activity on nude beaches. I can and will post any IMDB Parents Guide of any movie to prove you wrong.

People on beaches dont wear burkas. U see womans butts and more.
Plus God made sex and the human body the way it is. Looks like according to you we all should live under sharia instead of free will

You watch Bruce Jenner, and Donald Trump naked and having sex????
I'll let you in on a backstage secret, the actors aren't actually having sex. Nudity isn't so horrendous.

Did you consider your username looks like "Fart"?

My initial point was we are subjected to far worse against our will in this world, an adult can watch fictional tv shows for enjoyment without becoming mentally or emotionally unstable. I'm assuming you have highly censored the art you allow yourself to enjoy, and I "ban" myself from watching certain ones if I think they are in poor taste. I don't have a problem with how Game of Thrones is presented or the message. lgbqrst+ agendas are everywhere so I'd have to not watch tv at all and avert my eyes in line at the grocery store magazine rack to escape them. To me it's a political drama that explores themes outside of traditional "good vs evil". You need to let people make this determination for themselves.

Who is rationalizing lust? Go to your room, close the door, turn off the lights, and keep your eyes closed if you want. Watching historical dramas does not cause me to lust.

Well as I stated before, there isn't actual sex or murders occurring on the show. And you haven't seen them yourself, they aren't really explicit, it's "acting", no different than Titanic's sex scene (did you ban this movie too? Maybe you did).

If you have gone your 31 years highly censored, I guess keep it going, but there really wasn't a reason to do this to yourself. You aren't a beast and can view material in the proper light without losing your mind, abandoning your morals, or temptation to sin. You can also fast forward if you wish.

Ask a GoT fan why did you enjoy it, they won't say, well all the graphic violence and sex scenes, they will make something up. I know that because I've asked multiple people. It allows them to watch filth or pornographic material without saying they watch such things 'so to say'.

Any House of Cards fans? Oh, the room has gone quiet. Supply and demand.
House of Cards has graphic violence, a gay main character, and infidelity sex scenes. What was your point? Do you think this show is ok? "the room has gone quiet", as if this is a higher art form or something we can't appreciate as you do?

What I was saying is that I doubt any House of Cards fans (of which there are PLENTY) would admit to it 'now', with Kevin Spacey now being in the spotlight as a sexual predator. And no I've never seen it, but I assume because its American mainstream that its vile.
