PRAISE. GOD. My friend who had the multiple brain surgeries is going to be okay. She's going to make it. She'll need therapy, but she'll be fine. It almost brought tears to my eyes to know this. Out of the Christmas presents I got today, THIS was the best one yet. To know God is faithful and HE STILL HEALS!!

Before nap time today, I had my son say a prayer with me. He was doing great until I told him we needed to ask God to be with all the kids who don't have as much as he does...
He got really distracted by that, and thought I was saying that HE didn't have very much, and so he said, "...and please God give me more things because I don't have as much as other kids."
*sigh*
