Men have it easier when it comes to dressing up. There aren't a bazillion different types of clothing for men to pick from- shirt, pants, jacket, blah blah blah.

Women dressing up? A dress...but what kind of dress? Short, long, 20 other options...or a skirt? But what kind of skirt? A-line, pencil, mini, maxi, flared, tea-length...

Ugh.

Or maybe I just don't know anything about clothes.

Here I'll disagree, you may have more things to choose from, but how difficult is it to put on really? Pull it on, pull it up, snap and zip. Have you tried putting on a full tux, or suit before? Not fun. Not to mention I don't know of many guys, myself included, that actually even know how to tie a bow tie.

Hahaha oh, yeah I hadn't thought about the putting it on part. I just meant choosing. I guess at least women's clothing has gotten easier to put on- no corsets or hoop skirts (er...not...usually?) or petticoats or anything.

Yes, this! I've always been envious of this, particularly because I like camping and being out in nature and it's harder for girls to go when they need to.

What a weird thing to be jealous of. :p
LOL! I know what you mean though! I can remember getting police calls when I reeeeeeeeeeeally needed to go and I couldn't just run back into the bushes for a sec like the guys! :D

Meh. When it becomes a habitual thing to dress up, it's no different than any other day. I can tux up in under 5 minutes. And I can do a four-in-hand or half windsor with my eyes closed in about 15 seconds. With my eyes closed, I can't guarantee it will look good, but with my eyes open, most days it's good on the first try, and still under 15 seconds.

Men have it easy because they don't have to worry about getting sexually assaulted when walking home at night, or at anytime, anywhere. They can also dress up in 10 min, pee while standing up (which is enviable in winter), and are blessed with not having to get monthly reminders that they are ,indeed, women ('cause they are not, of course). Those are the ones that come to my mind right now.

I wasn't talking about tying neck ties, just bow ties. I hate dressing up. Always have always will. I was in choir in highschool so we had some cheats, but it was still the just all the crap we had to put on and how uptight it made me feel...GAH!!! I hate dressing up so much. If I ever get married again we're wearing t-shirts and Jeans and having a potluck.

The last wedding I was in, us groomsmen had no idea, so we all went, bow ties in hand, to see the bridesmaids. They had no idea how to tie the things either. One guy pulled up a video on Youtube so we could figure it out.

I still ended up looking like a mortician.

~shakes head~

No, I'll never understand fashion...

You just needed a Shewee...their website says it's perfect for cops...maybe in a little pouch on your equipment belt? I'm sure the other officers wouldn't say a word...

Guys have it easy because as others mentioned, they don't need to ask anyone to open a jar for you (seriously, I have THE HARDEST time with it. Whenever I'm out on my own and I wanna make spaghetti and I have everything made up but can't get the jar of sauce open, I'm just gonna have to starve if I can't get it open. XD)

They also don't have to ask someone to reach the top shelf of the cabinets, cupboards, and pantries for them. :p Seriously, I'm probably gonna have to buy a step-ladder the moment I get my own place. Even though I'm tall-ish, I'm not tall enough. I'll get SO CLOSE to reaching something, but it's that little bit that prevents me from grabbing it >.<

Plus, they don't seem to worry about their looks as much, as others have mentioned.

Plus...how many women know how to fix their leaky faucet? I know I can't. but guys have a knack for doing that. MY dad who isn't the handiest knows how to do stuff like that.

It's called cut up some tomatoes and toss them into some olive oil. Cut up some more, and puree them. Then mix all together. And then go out to Olive Garden, cause you decide it's too much work, and terrify Itore, because of the non-Italian in you. (Oh wait, that's me.)

It's either that or put out a distress call on Facebook to see who'll help me get the cursed jar open. :p

All you have to do if having sauce from a jar,is give the edge of the lid a good whack on the side of it on any counter top or table...it releases the pressure of the air or something & will open right up for you, even if yer' a pipsqueak. LOL

Trying to open a jar like that is very dangerous. You can very easily break it and end up with nasty cuts.
