OK - the rules of the game is to type one short paragraph (3-5 complete sentences) about your day or a recent event without using the restricted letter.

The restricted letter (until further notice) is "C."

My example:

Today, my daughter and I went to worship our Lord and Savior, also enjoying the fellowship of like-minded brothers and sisters who also love God. Later, I baked treats while she (under duress) worked on her piano skills. I also viewed the first episode of "Agents of Shield." The felines just got booted out so they won't interfere while I do some tidying up.

I started out the day with a hot drink that keeps me sane, and bathed both kiddos, thereby flooding the bathroom and wasting lots of water. I spent a large portion of the morning lugging armfuls of broken tree limbs to the rear end of a 1970 International. I very nearly adopted a fourth kitty, and thought better of it and instead found a home for it with a family up the street. And now dinner is being ruined, and later, I'll bake something tasty. Probably. Not, "Probably it will be tasty", but, "Probably I will bake something." Yep.

I attended morning worship of our Lord and Savior with fellow believers. Afterwards, I ate leftovers for the noon time meal. I turned on the Denver vs. Dallas game and viewed it until it was time for Small Group. After Small Group, I ate supper and viewed the rest of the game that I had DVRed.

Today, we had a wonderful time during worship. Later, my blessings went to a 4-hr party. They returned home joyful and with lots of goodies. Lord willing, my blessings will sleep soundly after exposure to alluring piñatas. :)

I worked today. Not regular work, but ministry work. Youth went well, and I--through some awesome people at Wesley (as I am unable to use the word "hur"h)--may have also potentially found a house!! It's three bedrooms and everything! So, that plus the weather, reality that I"m off tomorrow, and goodness of God, Family, and Friends, means that it's been a great day! A for Effort on not using any " letters, too, and still sounding fairly normal in flow and verbage. Huzzah!

I made a couple of doors today. The doors on this out building were all rotted and I had been meaning to replace them. I made the doors out of 2X6 pine. I ripped them down a little a planed the edges and put them all together with biscuit joints then drilled through and pounded in dowels for extra hold. I put chamfer joints on the edges to dress it up and I'm going to screw in cross rails on the backs on the top and bottom to keep them flat and I'm thinking about putting a little shelf in the middle on the back. I think they turned out real nice.

It made me feel like that Alaska guy on PBS! Anyway, I'm not walking down there tonight but i'll take a picture of one in the am because my truck is still down there and will share. It's been raining so I hope I make it out of there.

Today, I went to see my youth pastor speak his first sermon. I also saw my aunt, her husband, their kid, and grandparents. I ended up falling asleep there. After that, I babysat a room full of kiddos at the building where I worship and hear a sermon.

Forgive me if I break the rules. I'm highly drugged.

I spent my morning at Urgent Care due to an ear infection and sinus infection. The doctor I saw was rude, he didn't care about my pain level (I was crying), and he made my infected ear bleed. It's still bleeding, actually. My entire face hurts, and I've been struggling to sleep--even with the pain meds. I've been lacking entertainment as well, so if you feel so inclined PM me. If you have my number, text me. If you want the number, PM me. I probably sound whiny, and I apologize if I do. :)

Aimee, I am so sorry about your ear and sinus pain. It sounds terrible! I am praying for you now.

My day went by quikly. We went to hurch. The hoir sang, the hildren were all smiles, and the joy of the Lord was evident in all of my hristian brothers and sisters. Afterward we went out to eat with some dear missionaries who were in town. It was mexian... I got the heese enhiladas - super yummy. Then home, nap, homework with kids, youth, groery shopping, home and hristian hat.

What she meant to say was:

Forgive me if I break the rules. I'm highly drugged.

I spent my morning at Urgent Health Attention due to an ear bug and sinus inflammation. The med guy I saw was rude, he didn't sympathize about my pain level (I was shedding tears), and he made my irritated ear bleed. It's still bleeding, now. My entire head front hurts, and I've been struggling to sleep--even with the pain meds. I've been without entertainment as well, so if you feel so inspired PM me. If you have my number, text me. If you want the number, PM me. I probably sound whiny, and I apologize if I do. :)

I don't think that was what KittyHerder meant. That may fly in the Bayou, but not out here in the non-Louisiana world.

(good thinking outside of the box though)

Just to head off any finger wagging, the previous posts are NOT meant to make light of Aimee's pain and health struggles. We all value her as a sister in Our Lord and Savior. She will be in the forefront of our prayers, and I am quite assured that her brothers and sisters on this web site are texting, talking, and messaging her, attempting to bring her ease at this trying time. For those of us who feel helpless to help, we use humor as a way to ease our own feelings.

I didn't get to attend worship this morning seeing as one of my girls I work for were under the weather. I attended to her needs until 4 then arrived home, took a nap and got ready for evening worship. Stopped by the store on the way home, got home , viewed a show and now am retiring for the night.

I laughed at the post, and I thought it was a nifty way to show your concern. *high five*

Yes, sarcasm font/because everybody did so well with C/sarcasm font.....I think we need another consonant first. New letter: L

I will do mine after work today.
