So, the opposite of my deal breaker thread, what are some of the things that would interest you in someone? Mine are:

-Confidence

- Intelligence

- Be kind to me

- Be able to make me a stronger christian (verses distracting me from God)

- Patience

- Honesty

- Humor

- If I feel 'safe' around said person.

Let's hear yours!!

this is an easy one for me. i actually have this list somewhere, but it's pretty much memorized now.

+is kingdom-minded. seeks to walk in the spirit and has real evidence of fruit in his life. intolerant of sin. values fellowship with christians. has a deep desire to serve and honor God with his life.

+a curious, answer-seeking intellect

+a sense of humor about life. can laugh at one's self, with me, and values the *fun* factor in life

+a co-adventurer--passionate about seeking shared (and individual) dreams, willing to take risks; can value the unconventional or meandering path.

+a gentleness of spirit, in the way he treats me and others.

+capable of open and healthy communication. can resolve conflict without games and tactics. able to apologize when necessary.

+takes personal responsibility to address and work on the issues that stand in the way of being the best version of who he can be--holistic health (spiritual/emotional/mental/physical health). avoids blaming others and circumstances, but holds self accountable for growth.

in other words, doesn't make me or anyone else (personally) responsible for happiness, growth and the like.

A godly man who consistently protects me with his very life has my loyalty and my fixed adoration upon him. :)

...and he must love chocolates, bananas & the smell of lavender.

This all sounds ideal to me :)

There are many qualities that I could list, but the ones I would appreciate the most would be:
-Purpose driven/Kingdom Driven. This would include passion for fellowship with other Christians beside me, and passion for spiritual growth and spiritual goals.

-Kind and compassionate. A soft heart in a man is one of the things that make me melt. Tender words for those who are hurting, sacrificing time to do something for someone in distress, or simply hugging a child who is crying reveal a heart of gold.

-Sense of humor, especially a witty one. No need to explain.

-A good listener. Someone who actually listens and doesn't just pretend to do so.

-Smart and curious. This to me shows a lively side of him, a side of him excited about life, which I would like to share and enjoy with him.

Okay, all horsing around aside, I readily agree with ya'll.

Top behaviors I gravitate to are:
1. Genuinely humble
2. Habitually hygienic (mentally & physically)
3. A keen listener who draws logically godly conclusions.

a godly woman

a confident woman

a strong woman - but not loud or aggressive. Why do so many women thing strong = loud or aggressive? I'm thankful for the examples of godly, strong women here on CC who are still very feminine. :D

an adventurous woman - What honey? God wants us to go to the Congo? Alrighty, I'll pack the mosquito nets!

a woman who is brave enough to share her hopes and dreams, is able to encourage me in mine, and open enough to discover new dreams together with me

OK - stopping here. I'm sure there's more but I'm beginning to sound like a Hallmark card...
