For all of the folks who are okay with having green teeth (because our inner beauty is all that matters), who think exercise, preventing medical disorders and/or caring for your skin (the largest organ of your body) or internal organs is EVIL, here is YOUR THREAD! :D

Discuss! :)

In some cases having green teeth can be healthy. Many dentist say it's not healthy to have green teeth. Each has their own 'flossify' on how to keep teeth clean.

Honestly,

Maybe some people want to talk more about inner beauty because the world is already so obsessed with looking good on the outside.

If anyone really wants to discuss beauty tips or how to look great, there are tons of magazines like Cosmos, Marie Claire and all sorts of blogs out there, beauty gurus, whatever.

People are just bombarded with that.

I wonder what is the point of making a thread called "Green Teeth" to make fun of people who either don't have the time or the patience to devote themselves to looking young.

There's nothing wrong in looking after the body that God has given us. It is the temple of God.
If we love ourselves, we would take care of our bodies - clothing it, feeding it etc etc.

Though Jesus himself said not to be worried about food or drink or clothes. The Bible tells us to be modestly dressed etc.

If someone brings up these points, I don't see how it means they're condoning green teeth.
They're just reiterating what the Bible states.

Everyone has opinions at the end of the day.

If you want to discuss beauty secrets, then you should go ahead and do it. You don't even have to feel condemnation for it. A disagreement doesn't imply those people are smelly, unhygienic people who probably have green teeth.

Would you refuse to share Christ with someone, just because they have green teeth?

Food for thought.

This thread points to people who think it is actually evil to put on makeup, exercise, etc..

It's based on someone's post in another thread where that person said they've encountered many christians who actually think that stuff is evil.

Who's making fun? I don't see any particular post making a joke or saying anything bad about them. Maybe you are reading too much into it? This thread is for them to discuss/explain their point of view if they so choose.

Ok, green teeth is kind of funny, but it does get the point across..

Ok so i wanted to get to the bottom of this and googled "christians exercise is evil"...

...and all I came up with is that many christians believe that yoga is/might be evil because it was originally designed as worship to deities, and some believe it can expose a person's spirit to demonic influence...

I used to be interested in new age spirituality and know a little about opening chakras and OOBE's and I do believe that if yoga combined with the prescribed meditations can actually expose someone to spiritual entities.

Let's not forget... there were at least two people in the bible that were under demonic possession and were exorcised by Jesus himself.

Ok so in this case... I think this form of exercise (yoga) can actually be evil. o_o

BUT... yoga as stretching, without the accompanying meditation is not evil... just impossible for me to do (i'm not that flexbile) :p

INNER beauty was stressed more in the OP of the helpful hints thread than anything else if anyone bothered to read it all the way to the bottom. It was even emboldened (for a very important reason):

BUT....the best beauty tip EVER came from my gramma: Pretty is as pretty DOES

Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. Let the beauty God puts within you flow. The peace that comes from God shows as well...and it's beautiful.

People are bombarded with a lot of things on a daily basis that are discussed repetitiously in this forum. Why should exercise/skin/hair care be avoided? Is there a list somewhere of topics we are not permitted to discuss?

I have shared Christ with individuals (glue sniffers) who had weeks worth of snot and vomit in their beards, so I doubt that green teeth would deter me from sharing Christ with anyone. :)

I agree with you.

If you read my entire post you would see I believe taking care of oneself should not be received with condemnation and you shouldn't bother too much.

Clearly I missed the point of this thread.

My sense of humor is not as evolved or of such a high class.

I'm sorry. I'll learn to laugh at the ridiculousness of this thread.

I have rainbow teeth.... No... I won't show you unless you pay me 50 cents :p

Zero, I have heard of such things.... Like this girl was being spiritually attacked and just had a dramatic change in who she was by having random outbursts of anger and she could not figure out what was going on. After prayer and seeking for answers, she realized thAt at the beginning of her yoga class the words / prayer or chant they said at the beginning of class was her technically praying to other gods, not only that but her yoga teacher also had Buddha figurines and such that carried their own spiritual presences.

She then quit the class and her sudden raging outbursts stopped occurring.
